I don't like to leave reviews based on one experience. I've been here a few times now and left disappointed each time. I eat an entirely plant-based diet so I was VERY excited about this place!! Unfortunately for being a salad spot, the menu is very much centered around animals and animal products. They do have tofu, but it's quite basic/bland. I was pretty bummed that they didn't have any creamy vegan dressings- a green goddess, cilantro/avocado, or a even a simple Ranch would be awesome! Also, I highly suggest requesting the salad dressing on the side. (My food the first time was drenched and almost inedible) Lastly, the prices are a bit high- Two Thai wraps with tofu in place of shrimp was almost $30 I love supporting small businesses, but not sure I'll be returning to this one any time soon. To end on a positive note- the staff was extremely kind and friendly on each visit! I left larger than usual tips because of their efficiency and effort to provide excellent customer service. read more

The two times I've been here I felt so rushed through the line. The customer service attitude was like "hurry up and choose already" second time I went and it was the same thing. I asked them to tell me all the up charges but was so rushed. They ended up mixing my salad with the person next to me and dumped the wrong salad dressing on top. No apologies, just hurry, hurry hurry... next... Can I have an addition salad dressing cup in the side please. I asked.. That will be .75.... Be sure to look at the menu before you go or you'll end up spending a whole lot on a salad with all the up charges. Or you'll get ran over... annoyed looks with all the hurry up and pay attitude. We ordered soup: chicken noodle and chicken tortilla; both were not hardy, i..e. full of chicken and vegetables, so made a very light lunch. The raspberry lemonade tasted artificial. This is a very plain fast food place that I suspect is a chain since the receipt was titled Killer Salads. At lunch time, the restaurant was nearly full. Great new addition to Medford in the old Mucho Gusto store. I ordered a large bowl and it was almost enough for two people. Base price for a large was $12.49, and then $0.75 to $1.50 for extra toppings, so that would be my one complaint because that could add up quick. Quality was good. Super disappointed in this place. Was hoping for a good experience and what I got was bad service and soggy salad. I am a vegetarian of 30 years so I know a good salad. I was hoping my salad would look like the ones on the menu as you walked in. What I got was bitchy servers talking amongst themselves and brimming with cold service. The salad was soggy, the ingredients were brown (not fresh!) and the restaurant was dirty and gross. They don't seem to hire people who seem happy at their jobs. I saw their miserable faces and watched them as I ate my salad. Why are people being hired who hate the customers? Can't they find hard working, personable people out there? I guess not. It's nice to have a healthy place to have lunch instead of the fast food places. I thought the prices were reasonable for a salad that was filling enought for lunch, around $10-$12 dollars. I liked that you can get so many types of salads and bowls. It's definately our new place for a healthy lunch. Nice atmosphere and convient location. I am so glad we finally have a salad place in Medford. It's about 10-15 years past due but grateful it's here. The only thing I would change is the scoop of protein. It is so small and most of the children working there dont give you a full scoop. If you get a large salad, the scoop size the exact same. Actually the only difference for a large is more lettuce in a slightly bigger bowl. The toppings are the exact same as a small size. It isn't like that at salad places in san diego where I used to live. They need to get a nutritionist to tell them there should be more protein than any other topping as protein is the most essential food group for the human body and to use a full scoop, not partial or get a bigger scoop size. It's very annoying and then when you correct the child serving you, they charge extra when they don't even give you a full second scoop. It's crazy. I know Medford is slow and behind the times but this is pretty basic stuff. read more
