Most amazing pet supply store in town! No live pets available-this is just a pet supply store but they offer top-notch products! You won't find any foods with by-products, corn, wheat, or soy in them. It's majority is dog & cat products like food, toys, treats, beds, crates, leashes, collars and supplements, (and more!) but there is also a smaller section for birds, Guinea pigs, rabbits and other rodents. The staff is wonderful, everyone is very kind and honest and helpful. If they don't have the answers or products- they do the best to find it for you either way. They also have an adorable shop cat that lives in the shop! Almost all the foods and treats and things are also on a buyers program so you can get discounts and free bags of food for being a regular buyer too, so that's really nice as well. There is an independent groomer who works there in the Grants Pass location as well. She only works on one dog at a time so it's not a large grooming facility or self-service, but no kennels so it's less stressful on the dogs and she does a wonderful job. The only thing good about this place is that it is easy to find. Totally unprofessional staff. Overpriced by a bunch. Sell you stuff at a high price tell you just bring it back if your pet is unhappy. When you come back with the stuff they give you store credit so you can get more of their overpriced crap. I was visiting from out of town, and my boyfriend and I decided to bring our pit mix to the family house out here. I heard there were going to be other dogs and that I could possibly socialize mine with them but that wasn't the case. I had to tie him to a tree and he pulled so hard he broke his harness. So I called Petco because they were down the street to see if their customer representative would be able to give me some advice on what a better brand or solution to not having that happen again. Unfortunately the girl that answered had no idea any of their products or how to help me and had the worse customer service I had ever had. I checked on Yelp again to see the next closest pet shop and I found this awesome place. I called and the guy on the phone was super helpful. When I showed up, Robert was super friendly and helpful. He even adjusted the harness to fit my dog so we could walk around the store to see if it was a good fit. He was super knowledgeable about other things to improve my dogs life too. This is why I always prefer small businesses over large chain stores because you get such personable people who genuinely care about helping you find what you need. I definitely would recommend checking this place out for all your pet needs and the next time I'm visiting in town and need something for my dog I will be stopping here! read more

Super pleasant in there. Had an item for our pets we hadn't seen in our area. Reasonable prices.

Only second time in here. Fussy cat and dog ....means I have to search endlessly for just the right stuff. Found some canned food that might fit the bill. (Further taste tests will tell the tale (tail)... Also wanted food with no bad stuff such as carageenen and vitamin K3 for cats. They have these brands. Also.....found wet pet food with only....FOUR ingredients: Evanger's. (Beef, water, liver, guar gum. Better yet.....ONE ingredient wet food: Against the Grain. Pork, beef, some others. No water, no vegs, no grain, no supplements. Just Pork or beef or.... Friendly and informative help. Maybe next review will rate 5 stars, depending on what our 2 critters say. read more
