i was honestly hestitant to come here but most of the salons were closing and/or appointment only…read moreso i took a chance on proclips and both hair dressers were amazing. mary introduced herself to me although she was with another client and immediately i felt welcomed and comfortable. she assisted my hair dresser with my haircut and she was able to match what i showed her when I came in. they also made sure to keep it long and not go too short like most people do. for $35 im glad i came in and thankful they took me in right before closing

However, I was hoping to eliminate the gold and brassy tones so I requested a cooler base color with contrasting highlights. The result looked great even when my hair was still wet. She did a wonderful job styling (I have some frizz) and my hair looked sleek and polished when she was done. The salon is cute and has a friendly feeling. Also, the chairs in the shampoo room are the most comfortable that I've experienced. Plus, after conditioning, she placed a pre-warmed towel on my head as a pampered touch. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and told her I didn't like my hair thinned out or sheared. She ended up using those exact tools and now I have to go back to my regular stylist to fix my hair to make it even. I wanted to like this place but My hair is thin on the bottom with too many layers. At the end she specifically told me I had to use a straighter for my hair or else it would not look good and was she right. If I don't use a straighter my hair is just a mess with a large amount of thin hair sticking out everywhere. She is a really nice lady but I'm not happy with the way my hair was cut. There is also no shampoo included with a women's haircut.
