We had hoped to sit outside but a family had their kids running wild so we ducked inside. The establishment is one long, eclectic rectangle with a hodgepodge of art and decoration without any noticeable theme or cohesion. They served me a wonderful Reyka martini and we had breakfast for dinner because the dinner offerings didn't leave an impression. My girlfriend had three over-easy eggs with smoked bacon and I had a grilled chicken omelet with gruyere and spinach with a side of potatoes. The omelet was excellent. The potatoes could have been a crispier by they were fresh. My girlfriend enjoyed her dish as well. For a Saturday, it was strange that they had only one server and one cook in the kitchen. Even so, our server was wonderful and kind. We hope to return soon and actually have breakfast for breakfast!

With its airy outside patio and spacious interior, we loved the vibe. We were warmly greeted by our server Paige and were seated. Our spicy margaritas had just the right amount of kick! We were off to a great start... We dined on chili and a dish called El Fresco. The El Fresco are marinated seasoned chicken chunks served on a bed of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes. It was so savory and satisfying. The Honey could not stop saying how good the chili was!! I was lucky enough to get a spoonful (or two) before it was all gone! You will not go wrong with either one of these dishes. Paige was nice enough to answer my questions about the Brunch menu and history of the restaurant. She directed me to the wall where an article about the owner Marta was hanging. We then had the pleasure of meeting her when she came by the table to check on us. We're so happy we stopped in. The food and service were top notched. When we're in the area again, we're definitely returning. If we lived in the area I could see us becoming regulars here. I suggest you pay them a visit...if you're local to the area or out of towners, you won't be disappointed!! Thank me later.

They had plenty of servers who knew their stuff and the ambiance is a darker sports lounge vibe. Love's menu is quite eclectic as they traverse the food landscapes of "American", Hispanic, and Asian. Their sushi bar looks interesting- I look forward to trying it when I return and I'll update my review accordingly. I was surprised how empty the place was on a weekend night- I hope they can survive and thrive as a fresh hangout on the East side.

Hey everyone so I decided to try this new spot in Allentown call Love's Lounge. I think it's been…read moreopen for about a year. The waitress is nice and very attentive. They have a little outside seating and all the way in the back is a lounge area. They are open from 12pm to 2am. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening. FYI they do have their own parking. It wasn't that packed around that time. Their food menu is nice. So we order for drinks a Honey comb and a The Uprising as well as the Pink Dragon . The uprising is pretty much a tequila sunrise lol the only difference is they added whipped cream on top.For appetizers we order the sweet and hot wings with the bone(they have a boneless option as well). As well as the bacalaitos. For the entrees we order the surf and turf (lobster tail )mofongo with garlic sauce ugh just amazing. The other entree was white rice beans and toastones with churrasco . If you like hookah they do serve that as well let me not forget for all my sushi lovers they do have a sushi station and when I say the chef makes the sushi look so pretty you get to see it made right in front of you . The only downfall I would bring up is that gratuity is all ready included and sheeesh it's 18%. Other than that I would go again to see how the vibe is for the lounge at a later time . Oh and to get some more food because that mofongo was delicious.

I attended Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Part II in DC, and overall it was a really enjoyable…read moreexperience--especially for fans of Poe--but with a few logistical quirks worth noting. First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

I've heard nothing but great things since this place opened, so I was definitely looking forward to trying some of their food. My friends and I started with three appetizers; homemade mozzarella sticks, nachos with shredded chicken, and lemon pepper wet wings. The moz sticks were lightly breaded, crispy, and filled with gooey deliciousness. The nachos were good, not great. The ingredients were fresh, but disproportional (not enough chips and queso and too much LTO). The wings were absolute perfection. I still have a handful of places to try, but Cuzin's is definitely a contender for best wings in the valley. After the appetizers I moved on to Cuzin's colossal club. This sandwich is enormous! It's piled high with pastrami, corned beef, ham, turkey, bacon, provolone, Swiss, LTO, and house sauce. It's served on grilled rye bread. My friends ordered the three little pigs burger and the cali chicken sandwich. They both enjoyed theirs as much as I did. Our server was friendly, helpful with the menu, and had superb timeliness from start to finish. Cuzin's has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery.
