was in the area so I thought I'd stop by and try the Matcha latte. There was a long line that moved pretty fast. I ordered the Matcha duo so just Matcha, oat milk and Matcha foam. Excellent quality and great flavor! They have several different options for Matcha. I'd love to go back and try another flavor! Cute location. Only wish they had more than one restroom as there was a long wait with the amount of people at this café! Great, friendly service as well!

Another new spot to try for the Coffee Queen. Been wanting to check it out...Very trendy - *Make sure to wear your baggy sweat pants and fitted crop top though...it seems to be the fashion here...LOL! This space has been the home a few other businesses but this one seems to be making a splash in Studio City. The line has a steady flow of customers. The menu includes coffee, matcha and teas as well as pastries. The inside is spacious, very clean with plenty of places to sit along with tables outside as well. Once you order your drinks they ask for a name and call you when they are ready. The staff did not impress me...not unfriendly but not warm and welcoming either... One Size Cup DOES NOT FIT ALL- they don't offer larger sizes which is a bummer to this coffee queen. I ordered the "Lotus Einspanner." It was okay. Not as good as RE: Coffee, just sayin...My friend ordered a fruit ice tea which she was not ranting about either...A few sips and we were both done... *Street parking *Paid lot behind the complex for all the businesses here Will I be back you may ask...Not any time soon... ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

ROK coffee and matcha is nothing less than spectacular! The line is usually easy and moves fast. Place feels very cozy with free digital pictures you can make and download online - they also print receipt copy. My go to is lotus latte which is heaven in the mouth - one of best lattes I ever had. Their matcha is also very high quality. Would recommend this place. 11/10

Celebrity sighting! Samara & Emily from Kats Eye Dream Academy were there which immediately the street cred of the cafe. I got the iced sparking yuzu matcha which was bright l, sweet and sour with some balancing bitterness from the matcha . My friend got the matcha duo with cookie butter which was delicious and slightly sweet. The line took like 20 minutes but was more than worth it.

We have tried the Cookie Butter Einspanner latte, the plain Einspanner Latte, a Strawberry Matcha Duo, and the Black Sesame latte. Out of these, I would get the Einspanners again any day. The matcha cream top is really nice - great flavor and texture. Their matcha is a nice strong flavor, not too bitter and undoubtedly smoother than almost anywhere else I've tried. They are probably my #2 or 3 spot for top matcha in the LA area. Unfortunately for me, the Strawberry Matcha Duo as it comes is way too sweet for me. I think I would ask for half the strawberry jam next time or just try the plain matcha duo. The Sesame latte was honestly too overwhelmingly sesame flavored. It ended up alllll over my partner's teeth. Probably half the amount of sesame would have been reasonable. Both the plain Einspanner and the Cookie Butter Einspanner were very nice. Smooth, rich cream top with just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. The espresso is not bitter. My only thought is that the espresso flavor could be a little stronger in this drink, altho it's very nice as it is as well. I will be back here for these two drinks in the future, and to try the matcha at a different sweetness level. The space itself is nice, open, several small two top tables and bar seating around the edges, with an artsy bench in the middle for sitting while you wait for your to-go order (most people are ordering to-go, so there is usually seating available). There is also a nice courtyard for the mall building this is in that you can hang out in. They have a clean restroom inside. There is plenty of natural and artificial light. Music is always playing, but imo, at a level too loud to study or work without earbuds in. YMMV. This place gets suuuuuuper busy on the weekends, especially on a Sunday when we were last here after the farmer's market. The line took ages. They make drinks quite slowly here and I would say they are a little overwhelmed and in the weeds at this new location so far. They could use more staff making drinks. Even when we came mid-day on a weekday and were one of 3 orders in the whole place, the drinks took their time. That's fine for a less busy place and I don't mind that they take their time to create quality drinks, but at a place that does this much business...who's got the time to wait 45+ minutes in line for a matcha except on the weekends? They need to address that. Parking is street only, or if you get lucky and there is space in the underground garage behind the building, the valet attendant will let you park there for 30 minutes free for picking up orders... obviously that's not going to work on the weekends when you're stuck there for 30 minutes to an hour just waiting to even order. This is a new location, so I hope these are just normal growing pains and logistics that will get worked out with time.

Parking: Rok is on Ventura Blvd in Studio City so parking there is already annoying. It's at the street corner of Ventura and Laurelgrove. You can either drive up and down looking for street parking along Ventura or you can turn into one of the neighborhoods to park and walk down the blvd. Just be sure to read the signage and not block any driveways. We did have to park a couple blocks away, but no problem since window shopping on that strip is always nice. Ambiance: Inside felt nice and airy, good temperature, nice overhead lights, and lots of beautiful natural light. The tree in the middle is also a nice photo opp. There is very limited seating inside since the floor plan is spaced out. Also on social media, there was a photo booth/photo strip machine being advertised but it was not working or not in service when we visited. This is the type of place to grab your coffee and just go, and isn't so leisurely. Drinks: We ordered the matcha duo and Black sesame latte. The matcha duo was delicious and almost perfect sweetness. The matcha duo was a nice double matcha experience, also not too sweet. The matcha didn't feel top tier quality like Rocky's matcha, but it was definitely up there and no complaints in terms or bitterness or any grainy quality to it. The black sesame was a bit sweet and the cream top really pushes it over the top in terms of being too decadent and rich. The coffee inside was nice, but we were left desiring a stronger coffee flavor in the latte. Service: The line was super long and wrapped outside the building for a decent distance, but went by at a decent speed. We got out drinks in a good amount of time despite the crowd on a Friday afternoon. Overall: Visually appealing cafe experience with its bright, airy interior and well crafted specialty drinks. The menu leans a little indulgent and sweet but the unique flavor combinations and aesthetic presentation help it. It's a solid spot in LA.

The service is pretty slow but everything is made to order. Their "DUO" latte which is espresso with a cream top was a little too sweet for my liking. It wasn't really desserty but more so just a little unenjoyable due to how much syrup is used. My partner really enjoyed their matcha which seems like that's what they're known for. The place itself is super cute and clean. Very good spot for working remotely or to study. It's spacious with a lot of seating but it's usually pretty lively. Parking on the Main Street and they also have parking in the back in a lot. Overall it's OK but not for me. Would come back if a friend wanted to try it out. Nothing to rave about tho.

Woooow this place is popular! Came here for the first time this past weekend with some friends. This is a trendy matcha spot with a clean, Scandinavian inspired vibe. A few friends later have described their drinks as a little too sweet, and even without knowing that I ordered it less sweet by default. The takeaway here is that you can have the sweetness adjusted and don't need to spike your glucose unnecessarily. The cream top is creamy and decadent, and definitely sets them apart from other matcha spots. Parking is available in a subterranean lot downstairs. Get here early so you can 1) avoid a line at this cafe, 2) avoid having to pay for valet (got here just before 9am and there was no valet booth even set up yet).

I came here to try Rok for the second time (first being its prime Koreatown location) and because this is way closer to my house and had hopes that this could be a new matcha spot for me. Parking at this plaza does cost money but as I spotted most people doing, you can park somewhere just off Ventura Blvd in the residential areas and walk on over for free. There is also metered street parking. Given that this place has blown up on social media, definitely expect a large line and a wait time of ~30 mins. Service itself wasn't slow after we ordered and I imagine this is because they are a new location and likely still training employees but there was only 1 cashier and multiple baristas but only 1 barista would make a drink while the others watched? So this would understandably increase wait times. There is no outdoor seating and quite a bit of indoor seating! Given its popularity, I wouldn't recommend coming here to study or read but I think this could be a nice cafe to visit and catch up with friends! Matcha Duo 4/5, okay so I would get this again BUT I would request it to be less sweet as I felt this tasted a bit too sweet for me. Price wise, this was average for a matcha latte in LA.

Yummy drinks all around especially the perfectly sweet, creamy, and nutty hojicha duo which I actually preferred over their matcha duo but both drinks were great! Note: There's limited seating and no WiFi so not a great study spot for students! Parking is hard to find unless you want to pay for garage parking!

Chestnut Latte with Oat - YUM!

Oh man. We came on a Saturday morning and waited FORTY FIVE MINUTES to wait in line, order, and get our drinks. Yes, our drinks were delish, but I'm not rushing back anytime soon to stand in that line. Seriously, the line was out the door and wrapped around the walkway - LA, why do we do this to ourselves? I had the chestnut latte and it was quite good once I gave it a thorough stir. There are whole chunks of nuts, which were obviously just garnish and too big to enjoy. My friend had the matcha. She liked it, but had to have the drink remade due to an allergy issue that they missed initially. Price point is on the higher end, but worthwhile for the taste and quality. There are also a number of light bites to enjoy. Rok is Korean, so they have a sesame and matcha cookie/pastry that looked yummy, too. Street parking or free parking in the underground lot are your options here. There's a photo booth inside, too!

I was curious to try this place after seeing it a bunch on my social media. I'm a huge matcha fan so I was intrigued. It's a big location right on Ventura Blvd, you can find a parking spot on the street or surrounding neighborhood. Inside is decorated really nicely. There's an olive tree in the middle with bench seating around it along with some other tables. And some tables outside. They have lots of matcha options and while standing in line, I could see that's definitely a popular drink to get here - matcha after matcha came out. I will say the line takes a loooooong time. It was a long line but it also moves slowly. So factor in time when you come here, it won't be speedy! I'm lactose intolerant and unfortunately most of their specialty matcha drinks have a cream top on them which can't be made dairy free. So I opted to just get an iced matcha latte with almond milk. It came in around $7. I was pleasantly surprised by the drink, despite it not having any specialty flavors added. It had a really nice strong matcha flavor while still tasting balanced and not bitter at all. I really enjoyed it and it gave me a nice little energy boost for the day! My friend got their sunrise espresso tonic which was stunning and she seemed to like it. I wish I could try some of their specialty drinks, I'm sure they're delicious!

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.

Last but not least, under the businesses amenities page it says, no dogs allowed. It was dogs galore inside and outside. No offense to people who have dogs, but outside is ok, not inside..

This place is a hidden gem! I come here regularly for coffee, and it never disappoints. Not only is…read morethe coffee consistently delicious, but the pricing is surprisingly affordable compared to many other coffee shops. For two large iced coffees, I paid around $12.50, which is hard to beat for the quality. One of my favorite things about this spot is the atmosphere. The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel valued as a customer. My go-to drinks are the Caramel Royale and the Vanilla Rose Latte over ice. Both are flavorful, well-balanced, and never overly sweet. I also appreciate that they offer a variety of milk options, including 2%, which isn't always easy to find at other coffee shops.. Overall, this place delivers on quality, affordability, and customer service. If you're looking for great coffee without the premium price tag, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely keep coming back! Thank you guys!
