    Salted Maple Vanilla Latte

What's better than a Sunday morning iced latte? A Sunday morning iced latte at Cocoa + Cream! First visit to this cute cafe and my goodness it was so delicious! I was stuck between two lattes and the staff were very welcoming and provided a great recommendation. I went with the Salted Maple Vanilla latte. The cold foam was so creamy, the coffee was smooth and roasted to perfection. The shop is so cute and has aesthetic photo ops. Can't wait to come back to this place!

As you know I am always looking for good coffee...being the "coffee queen" and all...So, went here to try one of their ice coffees. We walked in late morning during a weekday and it was not busy. They sell gelato, candy, fancy chocolates, stuffies and more. The decor is very pleasing to the eye and the service was friendly. I ordered a 16 oz. Ice "Pinkstachio Latte:" espresso, pistachio and pink hazelnut cream top iced for $7.50 and it was amazing! Very flavorful, smooth and not too sweet. My daughter got the "Strawberry Dream Matcha," which she also liked. Looking forward to going back to try the Gelato. *Very family & kid friendly *A few tables inside and out front to sit and enjoy your sweets *Street parking and a lot in the back if you can find a spot ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

Cocoa and Cream is a literal dream. It's a dreamy little shop in a busy shopping area of Burbank filled with street businesses. When walking in it feels like you're transporting to a different world of cuteness overload. The store's decorum is so pretty and the soft pastels are eye-catching. On my first visit, I was able to try their banana bread latte and strawberry matcha latte. The banana bread latte is literally made with banana milk and tastes amazing. I was also able to order a strawberry matcha made with their homemade strawberry purée. I took home some chocolates, and loafs of their chocolate bread... my household loved everything!! Safe to say I will be back to order different lattes. My first impression of Cocoa + Cream was amazing

Recently, I found out about Cocoa + Cream through social media. I was immediately drawn to their cute & whimsical decor - very Instagrammable. My first visit was on a Sunday at noon. There was a queue with a few customers since only one staff member was taking orders while the others were steadily preparing/serving orders. I chose the 16 oz, iced Black Sesame Latte with 2% milk ($7.50). There aren't many cafes selling black sesame flavors in the area, so this was a pleasant surprise! The drink was rich, sweet, and creamy. I would've liked a stronger black sesame flavor to balance the coffee, but it was still a good drink. I was running errands, so I didn't stay for long. I noticed that they have limited indoor and outdoor seating, and both the ambiance and service were bright and open. I'd return to Cocoa + Cream to try more of their menu in the future.

This shop is seriously one of the cutest (and most delicious) spots I've been to in a while. You can tell the owners put so much love into every little detail, and the design is adorable and everything is kept so nice. I honestly found this place just out of curiosity, and I'm really glad I stopped in before my facial appointment. The owners are so sweet and welcoming, it made the whole experience even better. Definitely keeping this spot in mind for my next Toluca Lake visit.

Super cute spot! Got the banana matcha and it was decisions, can't wait to go back and try new lattes and the gelato :). Staff were very friendly and sweet.

Visited Cocoa + Cream for the first time on a Saturday evening with the family. This gelato, sweet shop was recommended to us by some friends and a family member. Excellent customer service at Cocoa + Cream. The sweet aroma of chocolate welcomes you as you walk into the shop. This sweet shop specializes in gelatos and chocolates. They also sell candies, gummies and coffee drinks. We bought sour gummy poppers, mocha latte, Coffee with Peruvian Chocolate gelato, Coffee with Strawberry Fudge Brownie and Vanilla Bean with Ube Mochi gelato. Enjoyed the mocha latte as you can taste the espresso without the mocha flavor overpowering the taste of coffee. Delicious flavored gelato as they were smooth, silky and not too sweet. Loved all the gelato flavors. I enjoyed the Ube Mochi gelato however it's not real ube halaya. It didn't taste like real ube halaya. Can't wait to come back and try other gelato flavors and other coffee specialty drinks they have on the menu.

Cocoa + Cream Cafe in Toluca Lake is a gem--pastel-themed with a clean aesthetic that gives off a sweet See's Candy type of vibe. From gelato to matcha and coffee, the selections are solid and the whole spot feels fresh, cute, and well put together. I ordered the Blueberry Earl Grey Matcha with oat milk, and the look alone was serving. Freshly prepped, smooth, and full of flavor. Service was quick and everything came out on point. Fire matcha spot--highly recommend for all my matcha lovers.

The drinks looked cute according to Yelp so I knew it was a must try lol! Honestly don't think I've been to Toluca Lake, ever but what a cute little strip! Small shops around and easily found street metered parking on a weekend, especially with the farmers market that was happening right next door. This place is like Tifa's Gelato but if they went full on Easter/Spring themed lol. The pastel colors make this place really stand out and you can notice them outside since they also have the same colored umbrellas/tables. The place was busy for sure and EVERYONE knew each other! It's like I walked into a small town where all the residents and workers just vibed. It was nice to see and the workers were extremely friendly. I ordered an iced salted maple vanilla latte and despite how busy it was, the drink came out pretty quickly! Delicious and strong, just the way I like it. I didn't notice till after I ordered that they had a pistachio latte so now I have to come back lol! IG: @ammysalamii

This shop is adorable, and the aesthetic makes you expect incredible coffee. My first visit, I ordered the Matcha Oreo Latte, and it was so sweet it was almost undrinkable. I literally couldn't drink it so I just watched as it coagulated in my cupholder for the rest of the day. I figured maybe it was just that drink, so I come back a couple of weeks later and ordered a simple vanilla latte with nonfat milk, half sweet. As soon as I saw it, I knew the color was off. The barista was nice enough to add more milk, but it was still bitter, unbalanced, and didn't taste at all like vanilla. I've now had two completely opposite experiences, on total opposite ends of the spectrum. Neither good. The owner seemed genuinely nice when I met him, so I hate writing this. But I wish as much effort went into the coffee as goes into the decor, branding, and drink ideas. Both times I also waited 10 to 15 minutes for a single latte, which felt excessive. I honestly think the aesthetic is influencing a lot of the reviews. This place has so much potential, but the coffee just hasn't matched the experience.

Cute shop! Has gelato, candies, gifts and other treats. Some seating indoor as well. Good crowd of after dinner folks coming in for some dessert.

Life can be a dream... If you walk into the paradise of Cocoa and Cream... Explore chocolate luxuries like you've never seen... Life can be a dream, in Toluca Lake! Gelato is so tasty... Matcha Oreo and Peruvian Chocolate will never go to waste-y... Greek Yogurt and Mulberry are my flavors of the day-stee... Life can be a dream in Toluca Lake! Walk across the street.... From Trader Joe's, and you'll be light upon your feet... Get yourself a treat.... At Toluca's Cocoa and Cream! Forman's is next door.... Have dinner and drinks and then... Walk over for some more... I guarantee it, that your tastebuds simply soar... At Cocoa and Cream, on Riverside!

What a dreamy spot! Gelato, coffee, matcha, gifts, and goodies all in one place. Great place to grab a gift for someone special or yourself. Like a variety of chocolates, glassware, toys, books, candles, etc But the main stop is for some yummy gelato and/or coffee and matcha. The display case had an abundance of gelato flavors like ube mochi and Peruvian chocolate. They all looked very tasty. Their latte and matcha menu is also extensive and pretty creative. I really couldn't decide on which drink to order. I ended up getting the strawberry dream matcha and it wasn't too sweet. It tastes like a solid matcha drink. Can't wait to try others!

If you're gonna make key lime pie, it needs to taste like key lime... and it needs to knock you on your ass. I LOVE key lime pie. I make the best one outside the Keys. I do. I'm sorry, it's just a fact. It's perfect. Buttery chewy graham cracker crust with the perfect balance of sweet and buttery, perfectly set key like custard with just enough sugar to sweeten it but mostly sweetened from the condensed milk and enough eggs to make it a real delicious custard. The like is sharp and hits you nicely without being acrid. Perfectly tart and sweet, the way it should be. The crust should never be brittle. If it crumbles when you fork it, it's wrong. It should sink in. So what happened at RoP? Well, maybe they need a meeting of Congress to put in a bill for less sugar and a denser, chewier graham cracker crust. The density of the custard was perfect, but the taste was... well, it was kinda bland. Kinda boring. I tasted the condensed milk over the lime which was just barely there. The crust shattered if I put my fork into it and... Well, look: I ordered two slices for delivery after a terrible experience at House of Pies which was basically horror pie on a plate. RoP apparently won awards for their pie, blah blah blah... it was fine. But the real kicker is that it was over $20 for two slices and it was... meh. It should be better than that. I'm still on my hunt for the best key lime pie since my relocation to LA, so if you have a suggestion, please let me know! I will literally go anywhere in the LA area for it. To summarize: 1. Little key lime flavor 2. Too sweet/condensed milk-ish 3. Crumbly crust 4. Next!
