I've gone to Roknslime by Tatiana twice now and my 3 nieces and nephews absolutely loved it! I've taken them to Slime Kitchen as well, however what I loved about Roknslime was that you make the slime from scratch, start to finish unlike Slime Kitchen. Tatiana and Martha along with other staff were incredibly helpful, sweet, and patient with the kids. You get to: 1. Make your slime 2. Choose a scent 3. Choose a color 4. Choose your choice of sprinkles & gems And then they teach you how to make bubbles out of the slime. They offer a solution to keep your slime slimey for a long period of time as well! Lastly, they have an awesome rewards program where you can earn points and eventually get free slime. My daughter just had her 9th birthday party here and it was AMAZING!! Everything was so clean and organized and Martha and her assistant were so great with the kids. They were engaging and fun and there was never a dull moment. We did the 1hr plus 30mins for cake/cupcakes and it was the perfect amount of time and didn't feel rushed. We had notified Martha earlier in the week that her theme was Sanrio- Cinnamorol and she included this in all aspects! We had a mix of boys and girls and they all had so much fun - even the few that didn't like slime left loving it! They had goodie bags too for both the slimes the kids made and extra fun stuff! If I could give zero stars, I would. We visited this slime booth at Ventura Harbor yesterday, excited for our 4-year-old to have a fun experience. Instead, we were met with pure greed and unprofessionalism from the owner. We paid $20 for a small container of slime, which included three tiny trinkets to mix in. Our son, like any excited child, wanted one extra tiny piece--a worthless little add-on that probably cost them pennies (pic attached below). Instead of showing an ounce of kindness, the owner saw that we were struggling to keep our child calm and used that against us, insisting we pay another dollar for a minuscule extra trinket. We paid it because we didn't want to cause a scene or deal with our son being upset, but the entire interaction left a bad taste in our mouths. For a business that caters to children, you'd think they'd have some basic decency. Instead, they nickel-and-dimed us over something so small, after we had already paid them $20. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and customer service was beyond disappointing. I DO NOT recommend this place. There are plenty of other places to get slime without being ripped off and treated poorly. Avoid this scammy operation at all costs. read more

They are Pleasant, Caring and Fun and the Cost is what it is, it's mean to write a Bad review about the cost after the fact when you knew what the cost was up front? Located inside the Burbank mall on the third floor near the movie theater, this cute little slime factory exists. I decided to take my teenage daughter and her friend here for a little bit of fun and luckily we were the only people in there at the time, which was really nice. The girl that helped us was really nice and I could tell that she loves her job because everything she said was with a smile on her face. She explained every step and even took the time to help my daughter's friend make table sized bubbles with her slime. At the end you're able to add 6 charms or if you don't want to do that, you can do a pinches of smaller "charms". One pinch would equal one charm. If you want more than 6, it's $1 per extra charm or pinch. When you're completely done you're given a cute tote bag that you can stick your slime in and an activator type of spray. You also get after care instructions to ensure your slime lasts. I only wished that this place was around when my daughter was much younger. We would have loved to have a birthday party here. We will definitely be back here to make more slime. read more

The concept of this place is great and its local (Burbank, CA) so it makes for a perfect activity for the weekend. However, the owner is anything but friendly. It always amazes me when people who clearly don't have patience for kids open a business for kids. The workers were very nice and good with kids. But the owner was sitting there literally grunting and clearly showing that he's irritated. Our group was four kids and a family arrived right after us with one child. He did not want to utilize a different table so he had that child sit with our kids. There is no issue with that, but we were trying to capture pictures and videos of our kids doing this for the first time and we had another child in all the photos and videos. The parents of the child also felt uncomfortable with the fact that we were all crammed into one table and eventually moved over to a separate table to allow their child to play comfortably and take photos of their child. They ended up leaving before us. I will say we were there for about 40 minutes and spent $120 for four children to make their own slime. The owner literally couldn't wait to get us out. They are kids and want to play with the slime they made. We can't just expect them to make it, pack it up, and send them off. That's exactly what he wanted, however. He gave 3 bags instead of four that included the activator spray provided by them. When I informed him that I needed one more for one of the children, he said I already gave you one with an attitude and pointed at one of the two boys that had a bag. He treated me as though I was lying. I told him we put two of their slimes in one bag. He actually took the bag and checked. He saw that I was right and provided another bag but it was clearly against his will. He was so rude that our kids said "That man was so MEAN." Furthermore, all the kids had slime on their hands and we needed to get them cleaned up before leaving so we can grab a bite to eat. He did not provide us anything to clean our hands with and he was giving his employees facial directives to not assist us any longer as another family with one child walked in as we were heading out. I saw baby wipes and reached for two and when one of the children reached for another his employee didn't allow her to. She said your mom got it already. Mind you we are 6 people. Four kids and two adults. I grabbed two wipes and that bothered them. I guess they assumed we should walk out with slime on our hands and find a bathroom nearby to wash up. This is not how you run a business. Especially not one that involves making slime. We felt so uncomfortable that we cleaned up outside of the place instead of inside. We used those two wipes for all of us then found a bathroom in the mall to wash up. We are very happy with the employee who assisted us. She was not only patient but very good with the kids. They enjoyed the knowledge she shared and techniques she taught them. However, with an owner like that, this business will not last very long. I will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever take my kids again. I don't leave reviews often, but when I do, it's because I am extremely pleased or extremely disappointed. According to my 10-year-old buddy I do the Big Brother program with, ROKNSLIME is "s-tier." We went on a weekday after school and he was given the VIP treatment the moment we walked in the door. The staff was super friendly and walked him through all the slime making options. He chose to whip up some cloud slime and really enjoyed how much it could be customized. He had so much fun he tried talking me into doing another session when we walked by after grabbing some snacks down at the food court. Finding ROKNSLIME in the Burbank Mall was easy. Park in the garage around back and walk across the ramp into the mall (I think there's a sign directing you to Macy's) and it will be there on the corner once you enter the main wing of the mall. read more
