Rolex lose out on a total $34,000 pre-tax sale with 3% commission by having snobby sales reps. Come here if you want Rolex staff to be rude and condescending to real buyers. I had visiting relatives in town and looking to splurgy on shopping. Came into the Rolex store, I can immediately sense the sales rep was judging my relatives because they wore very modest, middle class casual sweats but trust me my relatives are rich rich. I went over and whisper to rep that " treat them nice they are real buyers". She nodded but NO improvements in service quality. My relative called his wife via FaceTime to show her the watch and they responded aggressively. It was insane. imagine turning down a real buyer and losing out a fat commission of 2 Rolex at $17,000 each. there were 2 more separate group of customers and reps in the back, those reps were trying their hardest to talk up whatever they were selling. While we got miss attitude here losing out on a quick $1k commission instead of just smiling and being nice. The deal would've been done in 5 mins unlike the presentation marathon in the back. It felt like we needed to win them over to make a purchase. No wonder Western luxury experience is a joke these days. Last time I checked Rolex market value is down and I can see why now. Don't waste your time here and give them any money. I will literally tell everyone of my rich friends and families who uses buy these crap about this and they are better off donating their money to charity for a good cause. read more

Highly unrecommended, go to Rolex dealer in Palo Alto instead. Horrible customer service, won't even respond to emails for updates. Can't even get an entry-level watch from them in a timely manner. However, for a mark up, they'll sell you what you want at there other store. Smh read more

Had a phenomenal experience at Kerns SF. We were assisted by Joel and Ashly. They were both so warm and welcoming, I instantly felt at ease. I was on the hunt for a wedding present for my fiancé and knew he had his eye on a specific model. Joel chatted with us and showed us a few different options in addition to the model my fiancé was most interested in. He walked us through all the details that made each one special and answered all our questions. Ashly was great as well and so fun to talk to. She was extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the watch features. The ambience is also very luxe and I felt pampered there. I got the call! There is nothing I would change about my experience working with Kerns, especially with Joe and Bryce. As mentioned in my initial review, Joe was incredible from our first time meeting. Kerns has an absolute keeper in him. Since my first visit, I've stopped by to say hello and to try on other watches on a couple of different occasions. Joe had moved over to the customer service side after our first visit so I met with colleagues of his. Nonetheless, I got the chance to say hello to him when I was in the store and it was like seeing an old friend. Earlier this week, I got a call from Bryce, one of their sales associates, to see if I had availability to come by the store. I hadn't met Bryce before so I didn't know what the reason for the visit was. Upon meeting Bryce, I knew I was in good hands. He was one of the most friendly and informative sales associates I've ever met. We got to know each other a bit and checked out the watch that I was wearing that day. After a bit, he revealed that they had a watch that I might like and brought out the exact Datejust that I had initially inquired about during my first visit with Joe. To Joe and Bryce, thank you for giving me a VIP experience. I couldn't be more thrilled knowing that Kerns is just a short drive away for from in the city. I'm very disappointed with my experience. I made an appointment in advance and drove 45 minutes to get here, only to arrive and wait another 30 minutes outside for the business to open. No one showed up. After contacting them, the automated system said they will be close on 25th and 26th. Unfortunately, that error cost me over an hour of driving time plus wasted waiting time. If the appointment system is unreliable, it should be fixed or customers should be notified ahead of time. Making customers travel long distances only to find out the appointment doesn't actually exist is unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so others don't experience the same issue. read more

It was a Tuesday morning around 11AM, we were dressed very causally because we were going be walking. When we approached the entrance to the store, it was unlocked and we were greeted warmly by the hostess. We told her that we were interested in looking at some watches and wanted to know which ones were available for sale. We were promptly introduced to Rachel. Rachel asked us what we were looking for and she said that they had several models meeting our desire. We were shown to a seating area and she brought out several watches for us to review. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of choices available and how Rachel presented them for comparison. Rachel is probably the friendliest Rolex SA we have met. Maybe because they are a new store and they had more selections for sale. Of course being an authorized dealer, they only charge MSRP. All in all, a very good experience and an atmosphere conducive to make you happy. read more

During my first visit I was introduced to Bryce. As others have mentioned, he is an absolute pleasure to talk to. We chatted about what I did for a living, we talked about our hobbies beyond watches, and of course we chatted about my interest in Rolex. He showed me a couple pieces I had not contemplated at all. At the end of my first visit, Bryce took my information and noted the pieces I was interested in. Unlike some other ADs, there was no pressure to buy something I was not interested in. Bryce made no promises about timing or availability. He was very candid about the fact that the purchasing process could take some time. Flash forward to some time later, I had an appointment to drop a vintage watch off for service. Bryce was there to greet me. We chatted about what I had going on in my life and my reason for the visit. I was handed off to a service rep to setup the service for my older watch. After all of that was done, and right when I was about to leave, I was stopped and surprised with one of the pieces I had expressed interest in. I was told that since I was dropping something off maybe I should consider taking something home in its place. I had no expectations of taking anything home that day and was floored by the surprise. I am still shocked. The thoughtfulness, kindness, and professionalism of the Kern's staff cannot be praised enough. They are unique among the many ADs I have visited and tried working with over the years. I hope I have the pleasure of purchasing additional pieces from them in the future. My husband and I spent our Valentines day in Healdsburg. On our way back home to Alameda, we decided to walk around SF since it was the NBA All Star weekend. We were on our way to Hermes, we passed by Kerns Rolex Boutique. I told my husband we should try to get in and check their pieces. I have been wanting to upgrade my lady date just for a long time now. We have tried our luck in different botiques from San jose to even Hawaii. It was all a heart break. We went in, Ashley welcomed us with her warm smile. She mentioned the showroom is quite busy today and we may need to wait until we get an SA. We said "ok". She directed us to their nice bar and offered us something to drink. Chit chat a little bit about our Valentine celebration in Healdbusrg. After a few minutes she introduced us to Jeffrey Avina. He was also very welcoming to us. He had this warm and big smile. He Invited us to sit on the sofa to get more comfortable. Ask us of our interest. I mentioned i wanted to upgrade my watch to a bigger face size a 31 or 36. He complemented my watch which i really appreciated. Then he said "let me see what i can find and i will be back". When my husband and i heard what Jeff had said, we looked at each othrr and my husband told me "this maybe your lucky day babe". I felt excited and at the same time nervous because i was not sure if Jeff will come back with something of my liking. Jeff came back and mentioned he found 3 beautiful pieces. He showed it to us (im not going to mentioned what he had) but it was all beautiful. Immediately the 3rd piece took my attention and melted my heart away. It was a 36mm datejust fluted bezel silver ROM VI/IX 24 diamond in jubilee bracelet. Jeff mentioned it's a brand new stock that just came it that day. I mentioned to him I really love it. He stopped for a second and said "Well you got!" I was so happy and almost cried. Ashley offered us a glass of champagne to celebrate. This was an amazing experience/day! Unlike other RoleX Botique, here we felt very relax and at ease because of how friendly and accommodating the staff. My wife, grown kids and our grandson were in town for the weekend for a play. We were greeted at the door and asked if they had watches available for sale and not just on display. We were told they could not answer that question until we came in and were asked to wait out in the rain. We have several Rolex's ourselves and like to buy them for our employees when they retire. We wanted one for a special employee that recently retired. I have never had an experience like this at a Rolex store, very unfortunate. We will continue to buy their watches, just not at Kerns. It is really sad to see what this city has become. read more
