Street parking directly out front on either side of the street. Inside is very charming in an older home with a beautiful patio outside to sit with vines growing around, charm and tons of seats inside both tables and bar. It is simplistic in decor but clean and modern. They have upped the menu and have much more food than my last visit. My friend ordered the salad and it was amazing! I was jealous! Tons of savory goodies inside like sweet potatoes and greens. I went with the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and it's like a foot long. Absolutely huge. I couldn't eat it all and ended up taking half home, delicious and wonderful portion. Absolutely big enough to share. Staff super friendly and my oat milk latte was delicious. Def. going to come back again after my last experience!

I love that this place is in the first level of a beautiful home on the corner, it adds a layer of coziness to the restaurant. They have interesting syrup flavors for their coffee that you wouldn't expect to be paired well together but I was thoroughly surprised! I had the Pistachio Lime latte, Lemon Liege Waffle, Horchata Liege Waffle, & the original! Both the Lemon & Horchata waffles were unlike anything I've ever had before! I love Waffles & this may become my new favorite place to get them. They're very filling, cooked perfectly, and have the delicious pearl sugar to top it off! This place has street parking, pay close attention to the signs! I will be coming back!

We were able to use the back room in the cafe that had a large table and provided a cozy setting with lots of natural light coming through the windows and cute macaroon-shaped pillows on the chairs. We had hibiscus tea and peach tea for the table to share. The peach tea was everyone's favorite, it didn't even need any added sugar. It was served in cute pastel teapots, though one of the teapots had a chip at the spout which made me a little nervous. We also had macaroons made in-house for the table. I can't remember if I asked the staff if any of the macaroons were dairy free, but I asked my friends at the table and was told there was dairy in them. I later asked the staff if there was any food they offered that was dairy-free and they showed me their pastry counter but ultimately determined that everything offered had dairy, so all I had while at the café was the tea. The ladies I was with loved the macaroons. I wish I could have had some. I recommend at least 1-2 food options be added in the café for folks who have a dairy allergy. Café Genevieve provides a nice atmosphere for tea with a unique setting -- in a 1734 house that is decked out with Parisian decor. It's not the most private setting -- it got pretty noisy during our time there and there were a few interruptions to our conversation. We should have asked if we could have closed the door, because that definitely would have helped with noise and privacy. Overall, the customer service was great and the tea was really good! If you want to meet here for a private event, conversation, or just want some peace and quiet, that back room with the door closed could provide it. It's a nice café to check out.

I've been to CP a few times and it's been consistently delicious everytime. My highlight is the smiling faces that greet us every time. I didn't know what to expect because I wasn't sure if it was a bookstore, cafe, or what. I spotted the little cafe section as soon as I walked in. The rest of the store was filled with books, soaps, herbs, and such. I jetted to the counter to see what I can order. The menu is on a chalk board and I quickly ordered the vegan sausage and fried plantains. The guy behind the counter seemed spaced out, I couldn't understand him and he wasn't really customer-servicey (a word I made up) but yet he seemed nice? Yeah it's a mix emotion here..He proceeded to make my order and I noticed he wasn't wearing gloves, matter of fact he wasn't wearing a mask! And as a matter of fact NO ONE wasn't wearing a mask in this place!! I believe this establishment is into the whole herbal, natural healing vibe which I don't knock because it is important but we are still in a pandemic!!! At this point I wanted to cancel my order. But my order is being made so I started looking around the shop and you can see from my pix, the different things they sell. If this is your vibe, this place will work for you but for me it's a nooo. As I am waiting, I was asked if I wanted to stay for a class. I politely declined but in my head I was like "I really just want to go now". Anyways I got my order, and headed to Chick Fil A - Hahahaa!!
