Waited an hour for food to come out but only half the order came. Never got any water to drink, to-go orders backed up to the point where they actually closed the store early and the online orders completely. Very unorganized. Not even sure why its popular as food was ok but not worth this much issues. read more

I went there to have dinner after a long day of work. I was hungry and tired. When we got there, the waitstaff told us they were so busy that it would be at least an hour before we got our food. I was too tired and hungry to wait, so I left. I really appreciate that they informed me that it would be a long wait. Otherwise, I would have sat there being hangry (hungry + angry). I went back within a week to get a to-go order. Luckily, the restaurant was not as busy as the other night. I was able to order the Stairway to Heaven. I recommend that dish if anyone was questioning. It's tasty and more than enough for two people. It's a shame I didn't take the picture. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!! read more

LOVED this place. you can really tell that the sushi is made with LOVE. our chef deric was lovely! he shaped me and my boyfriends platter into a heart(': the CUTEST surprise! The sushi was fresh, shrimp tempura was fresh too, can actually taste the shrimp which is pretty rare. All the rolls were tasty and we didn't feel rushed despite being the only two in there near closing time on a sunday night. AND he gave us complimentary to go matcha icecream cups!! Also the place was pretty spacious, no table to close to the next. i have a weird obsession w their nice tables, good quality sturdy wooden table. AND THE BACKGROUND MUSIC WAS DISNEY JAZZ. We were so satisifed with this meal. We dined in. Got a small pot of hot freen tea for 2.50 to share with the hubby. We tried a lot of amazing things. The avocado salad with ginger dressing was phenomenal. The spicy kani salad had little slivers of apple - yum! The gyoza soup was nice. The miso soup was also nice. We looooved our unagi don (eel and avocado slices over rice) and the sashimi regular. All the fish was so so fresh. We already can't wait to go back. Came in to try this place after a meeting in Ridgefield park. We were hungry and just decided to try this place out. First when we walked in it was empty just 1 Hispanic guy in the back. Then an older guy came out and sat us. The floors were dirty everything dusty I mean I doubt it was busy at all that day couldn't sweep. The rolls and sushi was ok. The kani salad tasted like wet mayo. It just overpowered everything that was in the salad. The guy was nice though and gave us free green desert that wasn't good. read more

We were on our way to visit family when we needed to grab some dinner. Looked up sushi on yelp and this restaurant popped up. So we decided to stop by for dinner and we are glad we did. The service was amazing and the sushi was fresh and really good. My daughter really loved the Chicken Karaage. It was cooked to perfection and very moist and juicy. We asked for a knife but they didn't have any and the chef came to our table just to cut up the chicken for our daughter. Such a great experience at this restaurant. For the sushi we ordered 4 different rolls but totally forgot which ones. I know the spicy tuna was really good and overall we really enjoyed this place and will be back again if traveling to New Jersey. read more

It was my first time at Icca, and I loved the platter I ordered. Compared to other "platter"s we got from different places, the fish seemed definitely fresh. I just wish there were some uni and/or ikura to top it off. Rolls were good too. My favorite was Madam Spider. The staff were sweet and caring as well. First time trying sushi at Icca and I always thought that maybe the owners of Kiseki across the street closed their doors and opened up Icca, so I had high expectations. The quality of the food was great. Fresh ingredients and good sized sushi pieces. My problem was that the rice was seasoned very differently compared to any other sushi rice I've had. Walked in and sat down and ordered with waiter and another guy who has ponytails came out to the table and and said is this all you ordering which was the lunch special for 3 special rolls and gave us attitude and and stormed off, we were just surprised how we were being treated because we were sharing, it was ridiculous and I realized the most recent reviews were negative now I know why. read more

a little disappointed i was expecting to be blown away. the sushi was fresh and taste good but it wasn't anything crazy. the shrimp tempura roll barely tasted like a shrimp tempura roll it was drowned in sweet sauce making it soggy. i wasn't expecting to have to pay for bottle water, used to having tap offered everywhere. the service was okay. you can probably get better sushi for you money somewhere else. i was satisfied but i wouldn't go out of my way to come back here. it was a cozy environment tho, with good lunch specials. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday at around 1:45 for a late lunch after running some errands nearby. It's located right by the train station, so we were able to park there. There was no one dining there at the time. I think it's more popular for takeout (maybe because the place kind of smells like a basement) and I think I would do the same next time. I appreciated that they had lunch specials even on Saturdays. My husband and I got the two special rolls and two regular roll lunch and shared everything. For the special rolls, we had the spider roll and I think the golden sunset roll? I couldn't really tell if it was good or not, or even what type of fish was in there because there was entirely too much sauce covering everything. I even tried to scrape some off. For the regular rolls, we went with the spicy white tuna and the yellowtail scallion. I liked that there were actually little chunks of white tuna in the roll, and it wasn't mushed up into a spicy fish paste. However, they drizzled a bunch of unnecessary spicy on top so if you get a spicy roll, be sure to ask for no sauce on top. The yellowtail scallion was by far my favorite. The fish was fresh and there wasn't any sauce to cover it up. It was simple and clean. That being said, the 4 stars for this review would only apply to the regular rolls. If I only ordered special rolls, it would probably be a 2. Next time, I'll only be doing the regular rolls and making sure there is no sauce on top before I order. read more

My sister, my parents, and I dined here this afternoon and we all left 100% satisfied! To start, we each had a miso soup and let me tell you, this soup was above average. It was served hot and was very flavorful. We also liked how there was actually a good amount of tofu and seaweed in it. Some places aren't as generous with those ingredients. We also received a complimentary order of chicken karaage (I hope I remembered the name right) from the chef. It was delicious - beautifully fried, crispy, Japanese chicken. As far as sushi goes, this place is not AYCE, but they have amazing platter deals. Honestly, it's probably best that it's not AYCE because the quality of the sushi was superior and you could taste it! We got the noir platter, which includes 7 special rolls and 4 classic rolls for $99.95. For special rolls, we ordered: -Fall roll -Calafate roll -Godzilla roll -Naruto roll -Spider roll -Sake lover roll -Burning heart roll For classic rolls, we ordered: -Crab salad roll -Philadelphia roll -Spicy yellowtail roll -Spicy tuna roll Each roll was more delicious than the last. There was not one thing that we ate that we didn't love! Also, the presentation was just gorgeous, like wow. Additionally, the chef also sent over some complimentary seared shrimp - WOW what a yummy addition! THANK YOU! Other things to note: -We had lunch here, so we did not drink any booze. However, I asked and it is BYOB - score! -The service is very polite and friendly. -The actual restaurant is thoughtfully decorated. -They have so many other specials that are worth it! -They opened during the pandemic, so that is impressive in itself! Cute location; very attentive service. It was very quiet on a Saturday night, but it is January so that makes sense. It seems as though it's always relatively easy to park there, too. The staff were all extremely polite, attentive, and accommodating. The mango special roll that everyone raves about really is a "must try". The anticipated sweetness that initially put me off is muted by a little bit of heat that's well-balanced. All of the food was fresh and delicious. Went here with a party of 16 and while I know it can be overwhelming to serve this big of a group, I feel like the staff could have done a better job of managing the group: 1) there wasn't much explanation of how the ordering process goes which left many of us first timers confused, and instead of helping they seemed irritated that we didn't order fast enough. 2) they barely checked up on us while we were settled. My friend had to ask multiple times for a refill on his water and took several attempts and reminders for them to FINALLY give him water, and 3) they are very strict here with the time you can stay here. I understand why time limits are set but we asked if we could have 10 extra minutes without being charged because we were a big group but they were not accommodating. Found it to be a bit irritating cause if they had been more helpful in the beginning with the ordering, our group might not have needed to rush at the end. Just wished there was a bit more flexibility here. My visit here wasn't perfect, but I definitely would come back here since the food is so good. But hope they can work on how they deal with big groups for the future!!
