The tap water tastes like pond water, even running thru the fountain machine. So something is off. I tried but it is a hard pass for me. Nothing about this experience was good. Even the tv kept flickering on and off about being connected. I felt no joy in this moment. No flavor.

Moby's is a Persian/Middle Eastern style Kabob joint. I popped in for lunch on a weekday to check the place out. I ordered a Kabob platter - with one each of a chicken kabob, a beef kabob, and a Lamb kabob - plus it comes with rice and some roasted vegetables. I don't believe the 3 kabob (one of each is on the menu) - I asked if there was one - he told there wasn't - but that they would make it happen - and rang me up. The food was made to order - so it took about 10 minutes or so before it was ready. There is a small -in-house dining area to the right of the area where you order. I paid with Apple Pay, Got my food to go and was on my way. The Kabobs were all very tender and tasty. It seemed like I had quite a large quantity of the Jasmine rice - maybe they gave me a double order of it since they added a Kabob? Check 'em out! #MobyDicksHouseOfKabob

I want to tell you what happened to me and if you ate at this location on Friday afternoon through Saturday 4/10-11/2026, and if you had the same experience then this may give you answers. I ordered takeout (3 kebab mixed platter, I think chicken, lamb, shami And an appetizer of aushak. It came with Qurma meat sauce and rice and veggies. I usually only eat one time a day and only had coffee that morning. I took the food back to my hotel and ate probably 1/2 of it, only sampling the qurma and kebabs and rice and veggies and a couple of aushak. I woke up the next morning early, went to see customers and started feeling a little weak. By Saturday evening and before dinner I was starting to get chills and not feeling right. Sunday morning I woke up with severe stomach pain and diarrhea. It is now 4 days later and I am still more sick than I have ever been in my life. I laid in bed on Sunday & Monday and flew home on Tuesday and went strait to an emergency room where they did a CT and bloodwork and found no issues with gallbladder or pancreas and bleeding, only lots of irritation in the GI track and that I was dehydrated. Since I was not vomiting, The Dr. said it is probable food poisoning. It is Wednesday 4/15 and I am still very sick, nothing to eat in 4 days beyond water, coke, ginger ale and a handful of saltine crackers which all of this has ran through me like water through sieve. I am not saying that it was this places food that caused my sickness, but I am saying that this was my timeline and this is what happened to me and if it happened to you, maybe this give some clarity. I am washing my sheets and covers right now because I shit to bed twice last night. I have been praying to God that I live.

This is a Middle Eastern/ Levantine / Syrian bakery , however, you want to name it and also grocery. To be honest, I don't need anything from that store other than their Mana'aesh! Everything else looks great, but I just have no need for, or I have other places that I'm regular with and get my stuff from there. That has nothing wrong with the business. In fact, I appreciate that they have an amazing variety . The only reason I gave them 4.5 stars is that after you get hooked to their amazing Mana aesh, I couldn't find it for many, many days and weeks! You can't count on them! Other than that, their service is great, friendly and nice . They were well priced in today's economy, and I'm really looking forward to having it again! You need to take it home and heat it nicely in a toaster oven and you will live the dream and love it! And may become an addict! Lol The store looks nice, clean and organized. Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

I had a hankering for some Baklava - and it suddenly occurred to me that I needed a Middle Eastern bakery - and voila! Alsham Bakery! It's a very small store inside - there is a lot to peruse. I need to go back and look through everything else. I asked the lady behind the counter for some assistance - they had several Baklava options - some of which were made elsewhere and shipped in - but they do have their own Baklava that they made. So I went with that - it comes in a tray with 3 different styles of Baklava. The Baklava was very tasty! Paid with Apple Pay. Service was good. The lady that assisted me was helpful and very nice! #AlshamBakery
