We'd never been to a Roly Poly but we fortunately found this little place while going thru Augusta. So glad we did! We had the Hickory Cristo and Hot Honey hot pressed wraps and they were delicious. Very good, healthy and affordable, and the nice gentleman who served us was great. We had our puppy with us so we sat outside and enjoyed the spring air, as well. If you're anywhere close, you really should try Roly Poly. read more

I don't know how I haven't been here but somehow I haven't yet. Roly Poly is a chain that I've never heard of before and this one is tucked away on Walton Way. I had a short window for lunch so I opted to do a mobile order and pickup as takeout. Although my order said it would be 20 minutes, it was ready and waiting for me as soon as I got there even though it was decently busy. They have a great looking menu and even their specials are available online, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Peachtree Melt which had ham, Brie, Swiss, peaches and pepper relish and a side of spicy mustard. It was delicious and was filling without making me feel stuffed. I didn't take any pictures because I was too hungry but I'm sure I'll be back again soon! read more

The patio roly poly augusta definitely has me not wanting to go back to work today. The cranapple cashew chicken wrap is the special this week and wow is it good. It has fresh basil chicken salad, baby spinach, dried cranberries, apples, carrots and cashews to add a perfect little crunch to every bite. I got the spicy honey mustard to dip mine in and of course you have to go with the jalapeno miss vickies chips. read more

I first visited a Roly Poly back in Jefferson City MO before I joined the Army. I was very happy when I saw the Roly Poly here. Same great food and even and few new ones on the menu as well. They have a kids menu, but it's not on the wall so ask. If you check in with yelp you get a free cookie with the purchase of a sandwich, or you did when I visited yesterday (6/2/2015). The only thing I was disappointed in was I expected my chipotle chicken to be spicy, but I hadn't read the sandwich description clearly. So it was my fault. I snapped a few pictures of the menu and posted them, they might help you choose your roll. I myself like hot pressed over the cold rolled but the caesar roll is good too. read more

I've been here a few times and every time I am pleased with my food and the service of the staff. They have hot and cold sandwich options, salads, soups, with a good variety of vegetarian options! I came to lunch here as it was practically next door to a location I was at for a meeting and we had to get lunch quick. Didn't know what it was. Walked in and was impressed by the cleanliness and the creative menu. There are many options to include hot sandwiches which sound wonderful. I wasn't very hungry so I had a hummus wrap combo which added chips and a drink. It came up to under $10 total, probably more like eight dollars. There were six of us and we all got efficient friendly service and the orders came out quickly. Took it back to the working lunch and it was extremely fresh and very tasty! Believe it or not, this was my first visit to Roly Poly. I've seen the sandwich shop in several cities and I've never had the pleasure of dining here until recently. So, I recently moved and after updating my address I started to receive several offers in the mail from local restaurants welcoming me to the neighborhood. Sigh, in town checking on a few things working... you know the drill. Best things first, we all know if we've delivery services some good some bad, grub hub is one of the best!!! I ordered a sandwich (don't ask me to recall, it's to painful) as well a child's sandwich for later in the evening. Needless to say I was shocked and appalled by the presentation and most importantly the taste!!! It took me back to school days, you know when they make the sandwiches slap them on your tray and nod (move on) if I only knew I would have embraced those times. Unlike school days, how can it taste wet and dried out at the same time???? If you know me, I don't count pennies however, when you advertise a price (extra Avocado) don't up charge with delivery. I disappoint you that I can not recall the name of the roll but, it did contain walnuts in excess, that was the filler silly of me to think they would actually put the meat (don't quote me I think it was the club with extra Avocado). It actually contained on slice of each meat listed. In addition I ordered a bag of Cheetos (which I rarely eat, thank goodness I did). And as stated, a children's wrap for that 4a get me to 8a charting, so very, very sad. I tried I really tried to dig deep and find something good about this meal sadly, it resulted in my placing an order to Buffalo Wild Wings (Good but a big no no for me) before I headed out. Additional fees for delivery, tipping my delivery person 5+ each time not their fault. Again, don't pinch pennies, they mentioned that you received something when you checked in. It's a small little place that makes wraps, soups and salads. My bowl of vegetable soup was a little small for the price, but it was very good. Keeping lunch light I got a 6" nutty avocado, which was a bunch of vegetables, cashews and avocado with balsamic vinaigrette. It was very delicious and well made. I liked how they had the calorie counts on the menu. Overall, if you're trying to eat healthy on the go and subway isn't your jam, give this place a shot. First time at a Roly Poly. I walked in the door at 6 pm to find the chairs on the table and an employee sweeping the floor. New store hours are 10-6 Monday-Friday & 10-4 on Saturday. I fell in love with this place in college. My roommate and I stumbled upon it exploring the town. Ive been a fan every since and thats been 11 years ago. There's so much to choose from and whatever you choose it's going to be good. The only con I have is that you have to order two or more sandwiches to really get your belly full. Menu items looked good and the place smelled good, but in order to read their menu --- posted on the wall --- we had to crowd people trying to eat at tables placed right underneath the menus! This was so disconcerting to us that we immediately left and never even tried the food. If this is the way Roly Poly has all its franchises laid out, then shame on them! On a constructive note, why not make up some menus that are laminated in plastic so that people can view the items on their way to the counter to order.
