If you are looking for giant portion sizes - this is your place. Roma is a very quaint little American/Italian Restaurant that has a very large menu to choose from. Service was fast, waiter was very friendly and attentive, huge portion sizes and fair price. I ordered the shrimp scampi and was only able to eat about a third, there was no way I could finish the entire meal. This dish would benefit from a little more flavor development. It tasted like olive oil with a hint of garlic. Didn't have the zing to it that I tend to enjoy in a scampi dish. They could have reduced the amount of pasta and added a veggie to help cut the heaviness, broccolini or spinach, or something along those lines. My first time trying this place was very good! We ate our food so fast that I didn't have time to take a picture. The free bread, absolutely amazing and easy to pull apart. The big bowl of butter was used generously on the warm bread. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was slightly oily, but well seasoned in pink sauce. My husband got the shrimp Florentine, which came with Alfredo sauce and handmade noodles, and I think was way better than my dish. I think the pricing is very fair for the giant portion that it comes with. I have leftovers for the next few days probably. Overall, great service and a cute family-friendly restaurant. I wanted to bring our boys here after an appointment one night because of the huge portions of delicious food. I went with a seafood pasta. That was really good, but I wish I had gone and ordered the special after seeing my son's dish. Service has always been nice, but we did have to wait a little bit longer than normal for food that night. Everything was worth the wait though, and our boys commented how awesome it was. We relaxed while listening to Perry Como and Vic Damone -- a nice improvement from the last several restaurants we have visited. Meals come with a salad which is nicely chilled and includes tomato, onion, etc. The house Italian dressing was delightfully tangy. The Garlic Rolls were warm and very tasty! My wife chose the Pasta Combo and I had the Spinach Ravioli. They looked so good that we started eating before I remembered to take the attached photos. Flavor and temperature of both were excellent! In order to try a dessert, we elected to take home a portion of our entrees. The Cannoli was a picture of perfection... and tasted just as good! (So good that I didn't even stop to snap a photo.) They weren't lying when they said portions were huge! Holy cow...my husband and I split "The Special" and had a full portion to take home as well. A dish we expected to have a pasta trio, so one could try different pastas...came all mixed together as a jumble of differing pastas. Once you walk inside you will be greeted by a newly renovated dining room. We started with the Bruschetta Appetizer, I don't recommend. I was expecting fresh Bruschetta with a side of toasted bread. Instead we received "cheese bread" with Bruschetta baked in. The bread, cheese and garlic overpowered the Bruschetta. Time for the main course. The sausage ziti is served with house made Italian sausage and homemade marinara. The dish was a perfect blend of noodles, sauce and a very generous portion of sausage. I read a few of the reviews to get an idea on what others thought and decided to give them a try. The restaurant was decorated nice but pretty plain. Had enough light to see what you were eating. I forgot the young lady's name but she was very nice and did a great job. She checked on us a few times. As for the food, it was very tasty and a large amount for the price!!! I had the fettuccine carbonara. Great flavor and had to take half of it home. My wife had the pasta sampler and our daughter had the pasta combo. Even though the combo was $3.00 more, both had a massive amount of food for the price and they had 2 more meals with the leftovers!!! The bread was delicious and had plenty of butter to go with it. We finished off the dinner with a cannoli. Not impressed with that, though. The filling was good but the outside was pretty hard so we ended up breaking the shell up and eating most of the filling. I got with the grilled chicken and took home enough for two more meals. My Dad had the shrimp scampi and took enough home for one more meal. The serve was spectacular. If you're looking for large portions at reasonable prices they definitely deliver. I wouldn't say they are 'gourmet' Italian as most dishes are covered in cheese (I personally like this) but maybe more 'home cooking' type dishes. The food is also quick for pickup and they provide tasty garlic rolls for eat in. I commonly get the eggplant parm which is a large portion of stacked and breaded eggplant with spaghetti, red sauce and cheese. The cheese and tangy sauce are a good combo. The 'Chef Special' is also a family favorite. It's a spicy, tangy, Alfredo with tortellini, chicken and shrimp dish. The Alfredo lives up to the cream and butter expectations and is good in small portions (slightly overwhelming in large portions). The dining room isn't the most romantic since it's fully open with a high ceilings but booths help to create a smaller environment. read more

It's a casual place that looks like it was a bar at some point that got converted into a restaurant in an older part of town. Maybe I'm wrong on that, but it's the vibe I got when I dined there. I suppose the reason I gave it 2 stars was because to my taste, It was a bit underwhelming. The cream sauces from 3 different dishes I tried were too similar, and the marinara was a little to tart for my taste buds, and also the same in all the dishes. Took our son to Romas for his birthday. Very popular Italian restaurant in Bellevue. They have done some remodeling since our last visit and it looks much nicer. We got there just before 6:30 pm Friday and they were busy. They were having difficulty cleaning off tables and seating new customers tonight. It took about 35 minutes when we were seated. The area was wet and a lot of food on the floor from the previous customer. My son ordered the chicken Parmesan, my wife had the sampler, girls had chicken Alfredo and I had a salad with grilled chicken (nice keto option). We had a very nice and attentive waitress and the food was both filling and delicious. They still provide free knotted rolls but no butter. The food and the waitress made the difference of me rating them 3 to 4 stars. They just have a few kinks to work out. A great local restaurant. read more

Had an extremely disappointing experience today at Roma. Came by for lunch, expecting good food and service - like I've had numerous times before - but instead, had one of the worst lunches ever. My order was taken at 12:29pm by my server, Zach. Ordered the lunch lasagna special that comes with a side salad. Then, I waited. 31 minutes later, after finally catching Zach's attention, he came over and asked if I needed anything (first time, by the way, since taking my order). I asked if I was still getting my salad. Unphased, he said, "Yes, your salad is coming, and your lasagna should be ready soon. He then immediately went to the kitchen, and came back with a salad. Two bites into my salad, my lasagna shows up. Zach makes a point to warn me that the plate and food is very hot and that I should be careful. And indeed, the plate was audibly sizzling. I carefully forked out a piece of lasagna, hesitantly brought it to my mouth, and was dumbfounded when I found that the food was lukewarm. Not hot at all, but just above room temperature. How do you do that? Sizzling on the outside and armpit warm on the inside. I had sat there for 4o minutes, only to have two bites of salad and one bite of bleh lasagna. What a waste - going out hungrier than when I arrived. I asked for my bill (I normally tip, even when the food is bad, but Zach moved around like the walking dead. Not gonna tip that. I was already paying for food I barely ate). Very sad. Don't think I'll ever come back, and I'll let my friends and family know of this experience. read more
