Staff was quite friendly on pick-up. I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza, basically my "yardstick" for a new pizza shop experience. The pizza was good and has a "New York" style crust that serves well for folding a slice. Sauce and cheese were tasty but not especially noteworthy. But hey, I don't want to be snooty about a neighborhood pizza shop. I'd certainly consider Ciervo's again AND the shop interior looked spotlessly clean in the short time I was inside. Definitely recommend for a basic pizza stop.

There's nothing to block it from the tables near the entrance. The beer cooler has a standard assortment of singles and half-cases with decent prices. Again, I'm not telling you it's the greatest pizza you will ever eat, but in a town where you have to be more specific about how many brothers or whose brothers are in the name of the restaurant, Brother Joe's is consistently satisfying.

I ordered a large Sicilian with mushrooms, onions and pepperoni and a side of fried zucchini. The pizza was absolutely loaded with toppings. I ordered it baked well expecting the crusty burnt cheese on the sides. There was none of that but I would definitely order it that way again. The pizza had 12 large square slices. I struggled to eat 1 1/2 slices. I think I'll order it cut into 16 slices next time. The zucchini was meh at best. It's probably not fair this far east, but I rate all fried zucchini to Pittsburgh style zucchini. This was not it. I wouldn't waste my time on it again. When it was finally ready, he yelled for me to come and get it, once again seeming frustrated by my mere presence.
