I had the bagel roll. It was great! Service was quick. Not packed at all on Black Friday and the bathroom lines are much shorter here!!

We decided to try this place on our latest trip to the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass. The restaurant is located in the outlet mall, in the old Johnny Rockets location near Vans (so don't go looking near the food court). We were seated right away, as the restaurant was fairly empty (1 PM on a Saturday). The place seemed clean, and we were waited on quickly. The lunch menu was a little confusing. There was a teriyaki or hibachi option with a Pick 2 listed, followed by different proteins. When we asked about it these seemed to be separate items, but we think we ordered the teriyaki chicken. It came with veggies, a choice of fried or steamed rice, and four pieces of sushi. The sushi was very fresh and mild- I'm not a big sushi fan but I liked it. I got the beef pho, which was excellent. Huge bowl with delicious broth, tons of noodles, and several big pieces of tender beef. There were a lot of sauce options on the table, including soy, hoisin, and sriracha. I added some lime and sriracha to my soup, and it was perfect. One of the best bowls of pho I've had. We had a great experience, but it was a little pricey- $50 for two entrees, a soda, and an egg roll. Pretty steep for lunch. I'm not sure how well this restaurant will do at this mall- sit-down restaurants don't seem to last very long here. If this restaurant was in my neighborhood I think it would be a hit, but I'm not sure how good of a fit it is for the outlet mall.

They closed. I was never able to eat there before they closed. I tried to eat there 4 or 5 times. They are now a Mexican restaurant.

The food was just not up to par. When my northern hubby says it has no flavor and he needs soy sauce, you have to be pretty bland.

Good sushi, huge portion of fried rice, clean and well lit. Glad we have this place in Simpsonville.

Lively atmosphere, creative cocktails, and delicious food make for a fun culinary experience. Peruvian and Asian cuisines combine to make a creative menu. My husband loves their Lomo Tartare appetizer and the lightly spicy "Summer in Saigon" cocktail. I'm a fan of their new "Dark Daq" cocktail and the edamame appetizer. We like all of their entrees. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is friendly and attentive. Unlike other places, you won't get constantly interrupted with questions about the food or the service. It's a small place and it's generally busy most of the time we've been there. I highly recommend Dos Mundos for a special night out or a bite and drinks with friends!

I did not realize the kitchen closed 30 minutes before the restaurant did so keep that in mind. I had the miso soup which had a good miso flavor and came out piping hot. For my main I had the Arroz Chaufa with chicken. It was exactly what I wanted. My only suggestion is to add some flavor to the chicken maybe a marinade, but together as one bite it was perfect. Especially for a girl who grew up eating rice and eggs as a staple. There is a parking lot so don't waste your time searching for street parking. And if you have kids there is a parking across the street.

Delightfully fresh ingredients, innovative rolls, personal service, all to a boomer rock soundtrack -- we had found our sushi dream for Oldham County fulfilled! The Covid period took a lot of good restaurants down but we kept hoping Rikishi would stay afloat. It did, but with supply chain issues and lack of staff. Which I think brought about the subpar Rikishi that we initially fell in love with. The location of Rikishi has not changed but so much has that we hardly recognize it any more! Very little of Rikishi's table service is personal anymore. You are seated and asked to fill out an order form for your drinks, appetizers, and dinner. No one showed up to personally take an order but to pick up your form. We were pointed to the form a couple of times before we ever got someone to just bring drinks. The old Rikishi was not at all like this! Tonight, we ordered two reliable staples -- miso soup and squid salad. The best parts of dinner were then over as the rolls we ordered did not satisfy as usual. The spicy tuna roll tasted like a watered down version of their usual -- not fresh, not full flavored, something was just off. Watered down is the best we could guess. We were asked to scan a QR code to pay for dinner. At that point, in my mind, we had taken our own orders, received subpar sushi, and then proceeded to process our own check. We always tip graciously but, this time, we asked ourselves what we were tipping for -- service? Again, I hated to write this review. My only hope is that the owners care enough (and have the resources) to go back to their original formula of great service, fantastic sushi, and that wonderfully fun classic/yacht rock soundtrack. Rikishi was our favorite; hope it will be again someday!
