Working with Romcar is one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had with a business. I traveled from Texas and found them through CarFax. There were other dealers that I visited in California tacked on many fees which ended up jacking the price up by $5,000 additional than the listed price! I highly recommend Rom-car Automotive and especially the owner, Nelu. I had a major issue with my car's gearbox and received quotes from two different auto shops for a complete replacement -- one for $3,000 and another for $5,000. Both shops told me the gearbox could not be repaired. Nelu took the time to properly inspect the problem, found a way to repair the gearbox instead of replacing it, and fixed everything professionally for only $400. It's rare to find a mechanic who is this honest, skilled, and fair with pricing. He saved me thousands of dollars and the car works great now. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealership! They are not what you would expect from a used car dealership - they are not pushy, they are incredibly professional, patient and helpful. Very professional, NO HIDDEN FEES which we have found at most other dealerships (others have extra lojack, and other stupid mandatory add-ons that are not included in advertised price, which I believe is not legal). Nice car selection, Stan stayed after closing time to help work with our late schedule. No pressure, just straight honest car talk.
