I should have known when we walked in and were the only party at the place on a Saturday night. I came here with a group of 8 based on one of the party's fond memories of Romeo's in years past. First off, we were seated in this weird annex in the back that was totally unheated. The waitress wrangled a space heater and we all ate in our coats. Despite advertising a full bar, my requests for both a whiskey sour and a G&T were declined because they "don't carry mixers". We ordered a round of spanakopita for an appetizer and I swear we got a basket of Trader's Joe's frozen spanakopita bites which had been deep fried. The waitress explained that normally they make them differently. Finally the entrees came out. The spread could have been picked up and plopped down in a Domino's and not looked out of place. Pizza that was so saturated with grease that it was falling apart sad, limp salads, and cheesy bread that looked like it came out of a box. The topper on this meal was that at 9:07 the manager came and basically kicked us out of the restaurant because they were closed and the dish washer was getting antsy. There's a lot better ways to get patrons out, especially when the hours on the door of the establishment have been scratched off. I don't intend on ever coming back here, and it's a mystery how long it's managed to stay open this long. read more

I was a little sad to arrive at Romeo's too late on a Sunday for the lunch menu which has the burgers and grinders we wanted to try. We decided to stay and give the pizza a go and I have to say it was a wise decision. I started with a nice little Garden salad, nothing fancy, just lettuce, mozzarella, olives, a tomato slice and bleu cheese, but this is how I like my salad. We picked the Romeo's Special pizza so we could try a variety of toppings. Good quality meats, the sausage was especially good, and they do not hold back on the amount. Lots of cheese too. The sauce was very nice. The crust was thick, chewy and just short of overcooked. This was one filling pizza with all the toppings and crust. My only complaint is I wish they had put the tomatoes on during baking so they would be cooked. We took some tiramisu to go. It was just okay. I probably won't get it again. The service here was really good. The waitress was very nice and mostly on the ball with drink refills. I have to hold back a star for the seating. No booths and the chairs are not very comfortable. It's my understanding that Romeo's has new owners so maybe that is why the service and food has gone downhill. I've been ordering food from there and eating there for a couple of decades now but the last few times have been very disappointing. Orders have been mixed up more than once, food has been cold, service has been poor. When ordering over the phone, I could tell that the person taking my order wasn't really listening so I asked if we could go over the order as there have been mistakes recently. I was told "my other lines are ringing." I went over the order again to make sure there was no mix up. Even after verifying the order, it was wrong! I hope there is a change for the better but for now, I think I'll be looking for another restaurant/pizzeria to eat at or order from. read more

Was starving last night and having a really bad day. Didn't want to move my (finally) calm baby, so I decided to order delivery. I ordered a 10" pepperoni pizza with a few additional toppings with and am order of spicy wings. My order came sooner than I expected (yea!) and the delivery was really nice. I tore into the wings first. Nice and meaty, but was a spicy tease. Way too mild. The pizza was good. The ingredients tasted fresh and wasn't greasy. The crust was soft, but I prefer a little crispy. Overall, it was pretty tasty and hit the spot. I ate three slices after finishing off the wings and celery. Being a human milk jug builds up a hunger like that. read more

I live down in Santa Cruz CA and my sister was in Stevens Hospital up in Edmonds WA...She'd been there almost a week with a viral heart ailment and getting so very sick of the hospital fare. I checked around on Yelp for someplace close that would deliver (besides just pizza) and found Romeo's...what a find!! She just called me and said the NY steak/Cesar Salad and fries were wonderful, brought in hot and with her favorite A-1 Steak Sauce on the side. I was impressed. It took me 11 years to try this place, its in such a weird location I always forgot about it. We all had pasta dishes- really want to try the pizza's next time. This is a hidden gem! Very cozy, amazing selection of food, and great service. We keep getting the same server and she is the sweetest. Been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Mediocre Italian and Greek food. The lunch experience was so so, but after the dinner experience we will not be going back, but not just because of the food. Single serving breadstick packs are in baskets at every table - thought that was kind of cute and eclectic, like an old diner. :) When we were here for lunch, the staff seemed uncertain/uneducated on gluten free options on the menu. Ended up with the gyro salad and it was fine, mostly lettuce, pink tomatoes, but dressing good and meat decent, a little dry if anything. Went here with a group of friends for an early Saturday night dinner. There were a bunch of half eaten breadsticks & open packaging in the breadstick basket at our table. I will say service was good once it got started - we waited for ~10 minutes for a server to show up. I had the garlic prawns in butter/wine sauce and gyro salad and it was fine. There was music & a belly dancer as entertainment this evening, not sure if this is a regular event. I love belly dancing and live music and festivities in general, but this dancer was aggressive, in our faces, and unfortunately it ended up being a pretty uncomfortable experience. She waved her scarf in our faces trying to get tips, kept trying to pull people up from their dinners to dance with her..etc. Her perfume was bold and overwhelming and this took away from the dining experience. It could have been a great performance if it were not for her attitude and being in our faces the entire evening, taking no hints that maybe we wanted to eat dinner as well. read more

Sorry to say my delivery was cold and soaked through the box with oil. Ordered a house special, was told it was to arrive in 40 min to an hour. Pizza showed up ahead of time, in about 30 min. I was really sad when I couldn't pick a piece up without the last 1/3 of the slice staying in the box, glad they didn't wind up on the floor! Love this place. Soups, salads, pizza's entreees, all reasonably priced, huge portions and good quality ingredients. I would have given it five stars but we had an "incident" several months ago. Went there with three of my stepdaughters and my son. Son and youngest stepdaughter are of age to order off of children's menu and did so. New waitress looks at said stepdaughter and blurts "OH NO YOU CAN"T ORDER OFF OF THE CHILDREN"S MENU!" Stepdaughter blushes and asks why not, waitress replies that she's obviously much too old and when I replied idignantly that she was NOT too old the waitress yells "WELL SHE"S AWFULLY BIG FOR HER AGE!". I've been coming to Romeo's for the better part of 20 years. My personal opinion is that it offers quality food, a diverse menu, and pretty good pizza, and a friendly waitstaff (although most of the help are young therefore they could be lacking in the customer service area) my gut feeling is that the drive and excitement from the owner just isn't there. I feel they are content with being just an ok restaurant and not striving to do anymore than that. Having said that, I always appreciate the ribs there, the restaurant is clean, and the servers are nice. read more

I didn't call them back to fix this because I didn't want to drive back there. My husband ate it for me and said there wasn't any seasoning/flavor to the sauce. My wife and I eat here frequently and have always enjoyed the food. Tonight was no exception, we had a medium house pizza, 2 house salads, and water to drink. The place the family goes when we have hockey games in the Lynnwood area. We found this little gem by accident early in the youth hockey season and continue to come back when we are in the area. The pizzas are to die for, my youngest loves the baked mac and cheese, and my picky and snotty sister-in-law from Snohomish, WA even loves the food. We will be back...even if it is next hockey season. Ah the pizza.....oh my! My 9 year old ate the left overs without even leaving me a slice! He will be dealt with in time! :) read more

Sadly, Romeo's is not what it once was, which was my daughter's favorite restaurant. We went today after not having been in a while. We discovered it has new owners & the menu has changed slightly, not for the better. Although there were only 2 other tables occupied while we were there, the service was slow. Very puzzling, I have no idea what they were up to. The food was bland and lackluster. My daughter had spaghetti Marina, which barely had any sauce. We flagged the waitress down to ask for more sauce, which added $3 to our bill, so $16.50 for a lunch plate of spaghetti marinara. It came with soup or salad, she got the minestrone. If there were any noodles in it, they had dissolved into the over cooked mess. There were a few big chunks of carrots, but otherwise it tasted like soup from a can. Yuck. I had the meatball grinder ($14) which was okay but very little flavor. Very odd sandwich, open faced with meatball pieces rather than whole meatballs. The only positive was the portions were huge, but frankly I don't need huge portions. The whole experience was just meh. Not worth a trip back, which is sad because we used to love this little place. Now it's just overpriced and average, at best. read more

I have eaten here several times in the last two years (I work nearby). Not a huge fan of their pizza crust which is huge for me but they have a ok topping selection and the staff is friendly. I would give them four stars if they had a better crust for their pizza (thinner & crispier folks!) and if they had more veg friendly menu selections. Parking is usually plentiful and there isn't much other game in the neighborhood so... I could use a better salad (hint hint) as the salads here are inspired. Also I could use more sauce than they generally put on. All in all good for the everyday but not for special occasions. read more

Surprisingly good Italian eatery!! I got the eggplant parmesan w/ side of pasta marinera. The eggplant was really good! It is sooo easy to screw this dish up! Not many restaurants get it right! The eggplant at this place was a good thickness, and the breading was good, and not soggy! I do wish the breadding was a little more crispy. But I was happy with it overall!
