Last week on a Friday ,I brought my wife home from hospital, with being exhausted and getting late , I decided to get a pizza and french fries take out from Romeos and as usual the quick service and very good pizza as well as some of the best french fries I have ever had and I am 73 years old so I have had a lot. so today about a week later I decided to get the same order again ,it was great as usual and the same young girl waited on me again this time and she is probably one of the most pleasant people you could deal with in today,s world,she always takes the order with a friendly beautiful smile ,, I am sorry for not getting her name but will next time. with all the challenges going on in the world today ,it is so comforting to know there are still the nicest people around, All I can say is Thank you and Thank you and God Bless All the Employees at Romeos in Yarmouth. I so want to give my latest dinner of eggplant Parmesan a 5 Star and here's why...the eggplant is everything I'm looking for...cheesy, we'll sauced, and especially crispy around the edges. Delicious! However, the linguine below it is barely sauced. This is the second time for this. The photo shows a saucy dish but it's my additional sauce that shows. So I believe an extra layer of sauce below the eggplant but mixed into the pasta is a necessary step which should be standard. Result...5 stars for the eggplant parm, 3 stars for the pasta which is easily remedied if you have 'sghetti sauce in the fridge. Overall, a 4.5. Now the over day, I stopped in during lunch hours for what is advertised as, I believe, a 'giant' slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza. Honestly, I wouldn't really say 'giant' but I would say substantial or pretty big. I do like Romeo's whole pizza but I thought the slice as purchased was outstanding. Cheesy, lots of pepperoni, crispy crust, very tasty sauce, served hot and better than I anticipated. I'm going 4.5 between the eggplant parm dinner and the pizza slice. Just really good! Stopped by here for dinner the other night on the way to Freeport. Since we were a regular at the one in Scarborough, figured we would give this one a shot. I was saddened to see the Chicken Carbonara pizza had been removed from the menu; however, was happy that the kitchen was still willing to make it for us. We went to Romeo's and ate in the sit down restaurant. We have had their take out pizza before and it was pretty good. I got a pizza with basically everything and it was pretty to look at, tasty and well cooked. Why the only 1 star then? My wife ordered a hamburg and fries. She got a cheeseburger but it took so long to get served and the waitress took so long to check in on us that she ate what she could of it. She does not like cheeseburgers but liked the fries. About 1/2 way through the fries she pulled what looked like a hair off her plate, which she dismissed as perhaps a string of stretched cheese. Then another one. After eating more fries she pulled a long hair out of her mouth! How could there be 3 hairs on one plate of food? Prior to ordering online today, I did a regular search for a coupon code. We order at least twice a week so using a coupon is something we do often. As I tried to place an order and use a code an error appeared. I called Romeo's, was put on hold, then spoke directly to Mr. Manager on the phone when I called to advise him of the problem with the coupon code. He stated "go ahead and place your order online and when you come in I'll honor the discount. Well, this did not happen. Within seconds of us walking in the manager came from the bar, looked at my phone and stated "this coupon is from Ohio". So I asked if there was one for his franchise. He said we were screaming and that he was calling the police if we did not leave. Wait, what? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Because you won't honor a coupon? What a shady little man with a SYSCO menu. We left NEVER EVER TO GO BACK. Don't be scammed folks. Don't believe what your told on the phone because it's a different story in person. I've been to Romeo's many times. I'm sad to say this time was a disappointment. Not only are they violating current precautionary health and safety laws but they are cheating their customers into buying more they intended without properly posting what their deals entail first. I was excited to try the new to-go cocktails but was only informed after my purchase I would also have to do another transaction for food. If it had been noted somewhere it wouldn't have been a bother but they stopped me before I could leave to tell me I couldn't. Once I had ordered food and received it, it wasn't to my satisfaction. pretty lousy pizza. Don't let the name fool you. This is NOT Italian pizza but more of a greasy Greek-type pizza (thicker dough allowed to rise). I ordered a bacon and pepperoni pizza but got a bacon and pineapple pizza when I got there. The radio was blaring and no one could hear anything, but it was not obvious to the 2 scientists what had happened. I believe this is more of a drinking spot than a pizza place. Zesty Western is brilliant, you gotta try it. The sauce is amazing and the toppings are very well seasoned. 'Nuff said. We've also really enjoyed the Spanakopita. The Greek influence is perfectly balanced; the protein is savory and salty, the veggies are tender, and the ricotta and feta are blended perfectly as a cheesy base. Me and a few friends went in for dinner after a big sports game, and when we walked in with out having any mask we went to the front desk and asked if they had any and as the lady pulled them out the manger comes out and tells us to get out because we don't have mask, we said we didint have any and that the lady was getting some for us and he said "NO get out we don't have any mask." Went here for the first time last night. Sat in the bar section to watch the Bruins and Red Sox games on one of many large HD TVs. The place is very clean, modern and has an friendly feel. We got waited on by Zeb (I hope thats right) who we later found out to be the bar manager. He was low key, friendly and acted like a real person not just someone wanting a big tip. The food turned out to be very good. We got some wings, an All American and a Meat Lover pies. The pies have a nice variety of toppings but they don't overload them and the crust was light and fluffy with a nice little crunch. Beer on tap was good but we mainly stuck to a few varieties of Sam Adams. Over all it was a great time and this will be one of our new handouts since moving to the area. read more

I think the food and most of the service is good. But one waitress Caitie is quite rude. She seems to always be in a bad mood and takes it out on customers. I live locally and have gone there many, many times. The owner and other staff are great. But this one bartender has made it so I don't feel like going there anymore. Long before Romeos had the sports bar I ordered pizza for many years. I can say my family has been going there since 1991 when hey opened. This is the first time I have been put off by this restaurant. I really do not want the business to suffer, but I am writing this review to maybe correct this problem.
