Food Quality: I ordered a grandma pie, BBQ Wings, and penne vodka. I enjoyed the grandma pie not the best but it was good and fresh. The BBQ Wings could have been better, didn't taste fresh, and the penne vodka I was highly disappointed, it tasted like it wasn't fresh at all and had no flavor. Value for Money: Everything I ordered was worth the money, as the portation was huge! Overall Experience: I would be coming back as this is at the moment the best grandma pie near me. The pizza from here is on par with Sofia's when it comes to pizza in Queens but the winner is definitely the Rolls and Calzones. It's weird that other places don't maintain their rolls the way Romeo's does, soft and tender breading, just easy to chew with the taste to add to it. With some other places, their rolls and calzones are either tough and chewy or stale. I must've come around a good time because service was swift with no problem at all. I haven't bought pizza here since 2018. Now they actually make good food the pizza just terrible which is off putting. I personally love most of their pasta , their sausage roll is trash but their chicken roll is god sent . I would've gave this place 4 stars but their incompetence over the years has never changed . The 5x3 Italian flag fifteen feet above sharing the clamp with Old Glory is recognizable from two blocks away even with the overhead train, they look proper together on the outside corner. The rustic Italian kitchen design really gives a 'one big happy family having a meal' vibe and due to the fact that the place was slammed busy, almost shoulder to shoulder, it felt good. I was a touch surprised to see only the happy and proud people of the West Indies inside both on both sides of the counter. All buzzing about taking orders, pies in and out, calling out filled orders -- grabbing seating, grabbing the trays and sodas, sprinkling on their dry condiments, watching the Yankee Baltimore game, listening to HOT 97 -- and that was just in the front. Perfectly crispy crust, crunchy and held together perfectly on my regular slice and a half of my friends Grandma Sicilian. The cheeses weight was no physical threat to take down the structure and although ample in quantity -- crushed it in flavor. Clearly not cutting costs on cheese and sauce. The counter persons were friendly, and directed me to the bathrooms as i danced in place. 2 stars. The lavatory is small but fantastic and clean! 1 star. Pizza was ready when I came upstairs (bathroom in the basement). Paid 2.50 and sat down at a little booth and ate a tradional queens flavored old school slice with the slightly salty crust, sweet homemade tomato sauce, and oozy cheese. 1 star. After disembarking from the subway after an hour and fifteen minute train ride combined with a full eight-hour long haul work day, I was near starvation.
