I would say its rather difficult to screw up pizza these days. Romios has found a way. Not only was it covered in burnt garlic, a rancid tasting sauce, and on a beef jerky textured crust, but it costs MORE than Pagliacci, Papa Johns, or virtually anywhere else that sells and delivers pizza. For comparison, a Pagliacci that has far superior ingredients and a higher level of consistency costs about $5-6 less for a large. A Papa Johns would be even less than that. Compared worth those, I would pay about $9 for this pizza. It cost $25 and it made me want to throw it away after the first slice. Bad pizza, bad value. read more

I've heard about this place and I've been wanting to show up. For starters the fettuccini Alfredo is only sauce and pasta.. what!? For someone who has been to Italy not even in ITALY Will charge you an extra $3 to add chicken or shrimp. That is a major rip off here. The plates already over $10 for just pasta and sauce and no protein or actual nutrition source and yet want me to add an extra $3 for a sort of protein that it might be processed chicken or shrimp?. Most Italian restaurants or places I've sat my butt on plates of fettuccini or spaghetti are under $10 and they come with chicken or shrimp and meat for spaghetti with no extra charges... I will say the pizza here is good as also no actual nutrition bc it's pizza. But fettuccini, I don't recommend. Especially if you're not interested in buying a $15 plate after tax. I'm bringing this to attention in hopes they don't charge extra anymore for the meat. As an Italian, and someone who visits Italy often this is rip off. Shrimp meat or chicken should COME into de plate with no extra $charge. Thank you. read more

I received a gift certificate for door dash and decided I would love to try this restaurant. Idid not even deliver my order so talking with door dash they re-ordered my food. This restaurant canceled my order and said they were out of gluten free pasta !! Thank you for making my family starve for two hours just so you could refuse to make my food. Bland. I was so hungry for pizza and unfortunately, in Issaquah, there are zero good pizza places. Our pizza took an hour for delivery and when it arrived, the bread was nothing more than garlic butter on bread and the pizza tasted like topping tossed on dough. Decided not to cook one evening and ordered two of our favorites, the chicken parmesan and cannelloni. Both were delicious but what I really appreciate is the value. While initially the prices might seem high, you get so much food that the chicken parmesan served two people and there was leftover for lunch from the cannelloni. When you order, be mindful that you're also getting soup or salad. So unless you have an enormous appetite, one serving of take out will feed two people or two servings will provide ample for lunch the next day. read more

After again waiting about ten minutes I finally went to the counter and asked for menus... the server was chatting on the phone. She finally came over and took our drink order - coffee and soda. Over priced OK Italian food that is overly greasy. They sell grilled unbreaded chicken as chicken parmesan. They don't forget the meh salads, but often forget paid for addons like marinara. They also have no way to reverse credit charges for missing items in online orders. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. I ordered online and did not receive all my items. I filed a complaint through the platform I ordered on, and Romio's refused to fix the mistake or refund for the item that I did not receive. When the driver arrived with my order he just handed my food and walked away before I could check to make sure my order was correct. Will not be ordering or dining there again. read more

Found this place from looking at restaurants that deliver and have ordered from them several times now. I usually order their tortellini puttanesca and pesto cheese bread and I really liked both of them. I love the marinara sauce that comes with the cheese bread and I also like that all their pastas come with garlic bread and either a soup or salad. The delivery time is reasonable and free if you spend over $15 which is nice. I've tried one of their pizzas once and it wasn't my favorite so I would stick with the pastas. read more

On our delivery order, the medium pizza was barely warm and the cheese on the cheesy bread was actually cold to the touch. When I called in to report the food was tepid and not what I expected, the manager repsonded with "it's cold outside, the driver keeps the food in the bag but nothing we can do about it." Sure, it's damned cold out but if the food is kept hot until bagged, then kept in a car with a working heater, it will still arrive warm. I've delivered pizza before and there is no excuse for food arriving cold. Clearly another sign of the poor service and quality of food being provided by Romio's. We used to like the wheatberry crust to avoid a lot of enriched white flour but the service and quality we just received will not make it worth ordering from here again. read more

I ordered food delivered from here yesterday for lunch. I started throwing up 45 min after I started eating it. From timing/symptoms/etc it was clearly food poisoning from this meal. I called them today to let them know. I spoke with the manager and she didnt seem to get why I was calling. She asked if I wanted a free lunch I said no I'm probably not going to eat there ever again I was calling to let you know what I ate in case you had any of it left you may want to throw it out just in case. Her response was "yes we still have that same batch of soup today but I'm not going to throw it away because one person got sick." First of all, soup should not be reheated daily. It can only be reheated once and then thrown away. Maybe they made it fresh yesterday and were going to throw it away today but after looking up their health inspection reports online I doubt it. It looks as though this place is very unsanitary and doesn't follow proper food safety protocols since it's clearly a repeated pattern with the health department. And after a customer complaining of getting food poisoning they clearly don't care. I hope nobody else got sick! Please don't eat here, food poisoning is no joke, I'm so glad I didn't happen to feed any of it to my 1 year old yesterday. Romio oh Romio, why for out thou stay so distant so long?! So we ordered in from Romio's because well frankly we had a coupon, and even a good economy well I am cheap! I didn't expect much, especially since I have lived in Chicago and know REAL Italian....but man was a surprised! Delivery was slow so if you are starving forget it. We paid $30 bucks with tip for dinner which I thought was really high, but once we got all the food hoisted onto the counter and took inventory, I realized we had enough food for 3 meals! I got the lasagna which was awesome, he got the calazone which is bigger than my Marc Jacobs handbag! Now if that doesn't get you excited, I don't know what will! We have dined at Romio's in Kirkland 4 or 5 times now. Pizza and pasta dishes have been good. Just had their artichoke sundried tomato pesto calzone with Daiya cheese (vegan) and it was delicious! My kids like their spaghetti and meatballs. On a recent Tuesday night, a woman came to make balloon animals for all the pint-sized dinner guests; apparently she is there every Tuesday evening after 6pm. What a pleasant surprise. Staff is helpful and responsive. Recommend this place to families with young kids. read more

Our usual Pizza place in Kingsgate had a wait, so decided to try Romio's for the first time. Nothing less than a pleasant experience! Had the Santorini Pizza. Perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this is really the worst pizza & salad I've ever had. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, bread sticks, & Greek salad. The pizza tasted like it was covered with raw garlic. The garlic bread was crouton sticks. The marinara that was served with the "bread," was tasteless & oily. The Greek salad was old. The container it was delivered in was soggy. It had a huge handful of white & red onion slivers. I picked the olives out & threw away the rest. I didn't call to complain because I didn't want them to send more food. This is for their delivery. Love the chicken parmesan and the pasta dishes. Very flavorful and rich. The Pizza is ok and the wings are acceptable. Pizza was okay, until one day I ordered a half cheese-half mushroom. There were barely any mushrooms on that half! I called the waitress over, who apologized, then disappeared into the back. I heard her explaining my complaint to the pizza cook. Then nothing. No one scurrying over to make things right. No offers to add more mushrooms or a discount on the next pizza. Just total silence. My husband and I eat here just about whenever we want to order in. They have an extensive online menu and our delivery service has always been prompt and friendly. So far in the years we've been using this location we've never had a messed up order. The food is always delicious and most of the time it's piping hot. I prefer their pastas to their pizzas but have always enjoyed both. My absolute favorite item is their 'famous' chopped salad. It's definitely a bit pricey but for tasty Italian food straight to my door it's about what I'd expect. read more

The pizza is above average. I only have one complaint. The first time I ordered a delivery they entered my address wrong and I have tried to correct it on the next 2 orders but to no avail. The last time the driver wanted to argue with me about my address "I know that isn't my address, that's not what I told them, thank you for figuring it out but if you want a tip don't try to berate me about it, just hand me the pie." Not sure what all the whining is about. From the moment I walked in the door the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The side salad was very fresh iceburg, carrots, red cabbage, black olives and mozzarella cheese. The pesto linguini arrived a moment after I took the last bite of the salad. Piping hot, cooked perfect. Not fancy, just good and reasonably priced. I love the pizza here. Went once over a year ago and I always go back. Its never very busy when I go in there and they are always friendly. I sometimes call ahead to pick up my order and usually show up way before they tell me when its ready and I never have to wait long. I've never had a bad experience with their food or their service.
