This is not a restaurant that I would go back for. Food is subpar, but at least the staff were awesome. I ordered carbonara and pizza. The carbonara had a watery texture on its sauce, so it wasn't sticking to the pasta. The pizza was just so-so but perhaps something with meat would've made this better? The pasta did come with soup/salad and chose soup which was like a minestrone type of soup. They do have a parking lot so that's also good.

********* SCAM ALERT ********** Ordered BBQ chicken sandwich. Asked for lettuce and onions. When paying my tab, I was charged $1.30 for onions. And 30 cents for lettuce. Sandwich was $12 on menu. When checking my credit card bill today, somehow, I was charged $15.99. Sandwich was kind of small.

The garlic knots we took home

Went here for lunch with my husband. This was our first time going to Romio's and it didn't disappoint. We had the personal pizzas and garlic knots. The price was amazing for what you get! Our waitress was so nice and attentive and she spent time explaining their menu and making suggestions. The food came out piping hot, really fresh and super tasty.

Fresh mozz and sausage personal pizza

Came to this place for lunch one day and I'll admit, I was a little skeptical. But I'm glad we gave it a shot - the food was delicious. I'm not much of a salad fan, but the salad I had here, as simple as it was, was fantastic. It was so fresh! I created my own pizza consisting of fresh mozzarella and sausage, and it hit the spot. This place isn't the fanciest but it's definitely not to be passed up if you're looking for some decent and relatively quick Italian. I'm glad we found it and we'll be back again.

10" House Special

I really wanted to leave a stellar five star review but man oh man this pizza just didn't do it for me. I don't think I had high expectations cause pizza is pizza and it's so good whenever and wherever. Maybe I just didn't order the right things? I got two 10in pizzas, the house special and the pepperoni. Both were pretty decent in size but lacking so much flavor. So bland, nothing really stands out between the two pizzas. They're a little top heavy which some might like but the pizza was so soggy. I was really missing that crunch whether you get it with the crust or bottom of the pizza. The pizza was way too floppy, everything falling off including cheese and all the toppings. I'm glad I tried out this place after driving past it for so many years but I don't think this style of pizza is for me.

Nasty undercooked eggplant with dried out pasta
Katherine G.

The restaurant was empty. I placed an order for takeout. The description was fried eggplant and pasta. The pieces of eggplant were 2 inches thick. Barely cooked through. I could barely cit through with the knife and couldnt bite it. The pasta was dry dry and maybe frozen and them baked in the metal dish. Absolutely inedible. The tiramisu was delicious.

My partner and I were trying to think of a place for dinner tonight then remembered this gem. First time back since our last visit and the food was still fantastic, service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet conversation.

Parmesan Chicken.

We ordered three entrees. I thought it was expensive for pasta but the portion size is huge. I can put it away but I didn't even finish this. Lots of cheese, temperature was still hot when the delivery arrived. The picture online showed a whole chicken breast but it came diced. Easier to eat.

Chicken Marsala and Fettuccine Carbonara

Food was amazing, the serving size is wonderful. Each dish comes with a side and garlic bread, food was ready fast. Salad was exceptional and definitely one of my favorite underground spots!

The most disgusting wings and WAY over price. $15 for gas station quality wings. YUCK!
David F.

NASTY wings. omg that was terrible. Straight up gas-station level of quality wings and they cost $15!!!! Never again. I regret paying for this so much. I had friends come over and they all agreed it was not worth it. Embarrassing! We didn't even finish them. I wish I never spent my money on this because I never expected such crap. AVOID these!

I hate to give such a subpar review, but it is much deserved. I love Italian food and don't order it very often. So I was very excited to do did my lunch break last Saturday. I got the cheese filled tortellini with pesto sauce and feta, and a slice of chocolate cake. The garlic bread that came with the pasta was more chewy than crispy, but tasted okay. The tortellini was very heavy and had a pasty texture. Also, too many pine nuts for my liking. The pesto flavorful was pretty good though. But the worst thing- the chocolate cake. I honestly didn't know you could mess up cake that badly. It was very dry and crumbly, and the "frosting" was a fudge type consistency that was so cloyingly sweet... it was bad. I was so saddened by this. I would not eat here again.

Ok food but definitely not worth the price. I order to-go here when I'm feeling Italian that is barely a step above Readi Spaghetti.

This restaurant has been well received for both business dinners and personal dinners. They are old school charming Italian (not to be confused with American Italian). The service is often warm and charming. The restaurant is painted with warm tones and artworks of villas. Business partners from foreign countries often find this restaurant adorable. The menu has some hits-and-misses, but we have settled on our favorites by now. My hubby orders their lasagna as his favorite; he often orders it early since it's a longer time to cook. I recently visited with girlfriends, so extra desserts are involved. Lol. The Food: Salmone Piccata, $32 - 4.5 Stars Menu: Fresh salmon filet, capers, lemon, garlic, white wine sauce This is my standing order - a good size piece of salmon rests on veggies with a wonderful wine sauce. It's light, it's a repeatable dish, and I don't feel guilty afterwards. Tartufo Classico - 4.5 Stars Menu: Chocolate Gelato, zabaglione cream center, covered with crushed caramelized hazelnuts and cocoa powder Tiramisu - 4 Stars Menu: Ladyfinger biscuits, espresso coffee, mascarpone cheese, and whipped cream Curse my sweet tooth friend who convinced us to order not one but two desserts to share. The tartufo is more unique, and somewhat reminds me of a much better Ferrero Rocher. I particularly like the cool gelato. The tiramisu is of course the classic. If I am sharing with hubby, the tartufo is the easy win.

My wife had never been here, and for me it had been over 10 years, so we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing. On the positive side, the bread was good, the burrata appetizer was tasty, and my Marsala chicken wasn't too bad. However, my wife's Linguine Tutta Mare was not good at all. The mussels tasted completely off and had a bad smell. I tried them myself and they were fishy, not how mussels are supposed to taste. We told our waiter, and he kind of brushed it off, saying they get their seafood in daily and that mussels can sometimes be "that way." He gave no apology and no real acknowledgment to the issue, but just cleared our plates and walked away. To top it all off, they were out of the Panna Cotta, which was the dessert I'd been looking forward to. The other options didn't appeal to us as much, but we settled for them anyway. Afterwards, we still felt a little hungry. For our first lunch date in a while, this was a real letdown. Definitely not worth $35 per person.

Even with a reservation, we did have to wait a bit, but it was Valentine's Day, so totally understandable given how busy Italian spots get. Parking was pretty convenient with spaces both in front and behind the restaurant, and if those are full, it's close to the Totem Lake area so there are other options nearby. The ambiance was definitely unique--lots of mannequins, motorcycles, and a sort of roadshow vibe. It felt fun, a little quirky, and different from your typical Italian restaurant. Service was good overall, especially considering how busy it was. Our server was attentive enough and kept things moving smoothly. We started with bread and butter--nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The garlic herb compound butter oddly felt nostalgic and reminded me of childhood. For appetizers, we got the meatballs, which were hearty and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the seafood pasta in a wine cream sauce and really enjoyed it. There was a good amount of seafood--not super crab-heavy, but enough to get a few nice bites--and the sauce itself was light and well-balanced. My husband ordered the chicken parm, which he said was good but leaned a bit on the bland side. Overall, it feels like a solid neighborhood Italian spot. Definitely a place we'd come back to when we're in the area.

Very nice views of Lake Washington and the marina below. Super busy on a Friday night, partly because there were some stuff going on at the other restaurants at Carillon Point. Waited about 30-40 min to get seats at the bar. The food selection is not that big. They have a bigger wine and drinks selection. I got the pork belly for appetizers, and the spot prawn tagliarini. The pork belly is paired with some slightly sweet fruit to cut down on the grease, and the meat was nice and fatty. The tagliarini was tasty. I liked the tangy sauce (has saffron?) and the amount of prawns wasn't bad. My friend had the halibut and they thought it was only okay. Total $100ish for 2 people without any alcohol. The restaurant validates parking, but I still had to pay $5 to exit the lot.
