Let's talk about it! Parking is either self park in the plaza or valet for a quick change. We had a reservation and got seated promptly. Had an awesome team of servers that made sure we never waited too long for nothing, not drinks or food. We were encouraged to take pictures through the restaurant and never felt rushed to eat and leave. Food was tasty and the drinks that come with presentation definitely have a presentation! Be prepared to pay for the experience and everyone in attendance follows the dress code so please read it carefully. Overpriced and overhyped establishment. Food was mediocre at best- small portions and high price point. The only thing that was good were the chicken pastelitos. Churrasco with yucca was not seasoned properly and rubbery. Camarones "el final" were ok. Service was good-server was very polite and attentive. Romo is a gem in Silk City. We had a 530pm reservation, arrived at 5pm and was still seated immediately. I recommend valet which is $10. If they have a self-park option, it's gotta be a long walk as I didn't see anything near the restaurant. Reception area is not large so it can get crowded if you are waiting. The restaurant is stunning. Vibrant, lively colors. Velvet banquettes & chairs. Huge display screens. There is a private room for larger parties and I believe there is back patio, but I never saw it as we were seated near the front door. Service was very welcoming and fast. Top tier even starting with valet. No complaints. They were also accommodating on meat substitutions with menu items. All of this with a jam packed restaurant. I was shocked at how busy they were at 5pm. Not an empty seat. I was suprised at how warm the temperature inside the restaurant was, but it was abnormally hot outside in this day so maybe their thermostats had not adjusted. The drinks were VERY impressive. The presentation was extravagant, but the taste is what amazed me. Felt like I was in the islands. The food also was a 10. Fusion cuisine, but heavily latin influenced and authentic flavors. Please note they have a dress code any flip flop looking shoes are not allowed they made an exception this time around. Service was quick and our bartender was super friendly and gave suggestions. Where do I even start? Bottom line: this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The hosts had attitudes from the moment we arrived, and the manager's attempt at taking accountability felt very insincere--like he just wanted the conversation to be over rather than actually address our concerns. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. What really frustrated me was the situation with the hookah. I made a reservation specifically because I wanted to enjoy hookah outside. When I arrived, I was told there was a 1 hour and 45 minute wait for outdoor seating with hookah, but that I could eat inside first and then move outside afterward. After we finished eating, we were suddenly told that we would still have to wait another 1 hour and 45 minutes to go outside. Oh, and reservations does not include outside just in. To make matters worse, during the entire time we were there, I watched several Latino parties get seated outside while we continued to wait. It was very noticeable and left me questioning how the seating process was actually being handled. Came here to celebrate my friend's birthday at Room Restaurant--she's been wanting to try this place for the longest, so she was super excited! First off, the ambiance was beautiful--definitely a vibe--and the service was amazing from start to finish. The drinks were on point too, which always makes the experience even better. As for the food, the salmon I ordered was a bit bland, which was disappointing. However, my friend had the octopus and said it was the best she's ever had, so that was a highlight! I had a great time at this location, it really surprised me how good the food and drinks were! My friend and I came to celebrate my birthday and had reservations for 4:30pm on Saturday 3/14. Less than a foot of space in between tables making it hard to get in and out of the seat for everyone, esp someone like me with bigger thighs. At this point, there was a person there making sure no one took too long taking pics which i was glad about because earlier some girls took very long. When we left it was closer to 7:30pm and there were at least 40 ppl waiting to be seated. Not sure if they had reservations or not, but it was insane. Overall an okay and over hyped experience. Ambiance is trendy with Latin music and cool drinks. Enjoyed the drinks and the presentation the most. While the waitress was super nice, they didn't follow up with water or offer any drinks before or after they cut the birthday cake so we had cake with no drinks and then felt rushed out. We went to Romo tonight, and while the vibe has a lot of potential, the execution was messy from start to finish. First off, valet parking was a disaster, long lines with no rhyme or reason, and no clear system in place. Once inside, you're managed through multiple lines: a sub-entry, then another line overseen by a bouncer (who was nice, but there was zero structure), and then finally the hostess stand. Here's where it really made no sense: Our reservation was for 9:30 PM. We checked in at 9:27 PM and were told there would be a 25-minute wait. What's the point of a reservation if that's the case? Once seated, service was slow across the board--waiting for drinks, waiting for food, waiting in general. The food itself was decent and tasty, and the drinks were actually excellent. I'm not much of a drinker, but they were well-balanced, smooth, and flavorful (not overly strong, just done right). One big miss: I asked the waitress to sing Happy Birthday to my friend, and she completely forgot, then brought the bill instead. That was disappointing and took away from the celebration. Other issues: Bathrooms had very long lines Patio was freezing Overall flow felt chaotic That said, the vibe inside, with the dancers, music, and energy, was everything. That part, I absolutely loved. Romo clearly knows how to create atmosphere, but the logistics and service need serious improvement. My friend surprised me with brunch to celebrate my bday. We both love Adonis and his music so it was so cute for her to bring here. I was a bit thrown off by the location since it's kind of inside of a chipping center but parking was minimal. They offered valet parking for $10 so I grabbed that to avoid having my friend waiting longer for me. Upon walking in...beautiful and so spacious! Large open space as the main dining area. They had such pretty reddish booths also that stood out. The decor was very clean aesthetically, lots of greenery too which added a fresh touch. We waited about 10 minutes for our seats. The waitress was great. Attentive, friendly, gave us her recommendation on drinks which my friend too and ordered the Mamasota drink and I ordered a Lychee Martini. My drink was amazing.. I ended up having 3 more Food... bomb.. We started with the chicken empanadas and grilled octopus.. the. We had the " little bit of everything " sushi which was basically a combo of all the sushi's they iffer, that was a good choice and very tasty. We also shared the Romo Fongo that came with a garlic sauce..which was delicious. The manager JC came by to ask for our feedback. He was kind and friendly. My friend told him it was my birthday and he asked if we drink champagne before bring us a glass each. I thought tha was pretty considered to ask first before brining it over. After dinner my friend asked for a dessert with a candle for me... wow we got the tres leche pistachio coquito and it was delicious! Soo where should I start. I came here to celebrate my birthday - we did a dinner. It was table for 4. One ended up not coming and so the female in the front ( blonde) did not sit us b/c we were awaiting the 4th persons;but it was already 3 of us. So she had us waiting by the door and them we were moved to the side like we were waiting for a party of 10. It was a bit degrading and ridiculous. When they finally sat us, the table had the 3 chairs plus an extra one.. meaning that we could of sat a long time ago and they had us waiting over 1/2 hr by the door. Finally we sat down.... The food was great ( be prepared very pricey for the portions- btw valet $10). One of my friends was putting all the bill in her card.. so we needed cash changed to give her. I asked one waiter if she could change the cash and she looked at me turned to the other table and made it seem as if she was gonna check and stayed in a corner. Thankfully another waiter helped. The bathrooms are small and the crowd seems like they're going to a party at 4pm. Be prepared to show off your best attire in a modeling show.. ( a bit too much w both guys and girls in there).The decor is nice and the food was amazing ( taste) that's why they got 4 stars. I had been to this establishment before this became Romo by DJ Adonis. I had pretty good expectations but this place did not disappoint. Ambiance and service were both amazing considering how busy it was on a Friday night. The food was very tasty and the menu had plenty of delicious options, anywhere from Empanadas to even Tomahawk Steak cut at Table-side. I was pleasantly surprised by the drinks, although a bit pricey they are so worth the experience and unique presentation. Came here with my girlfriend and her family for a birthday dinner. For starters the valet has a sign that says $10 fee for valet and they tried to charge us $20 like we were suckers. We had a 4:15pm reservation for a party of 8 that was booked weeks in advance and somehow we still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, while others were being seated immediately with similar amount of customers. We arrive at the outdoor seating underneath a deck, and were forced to sit at two individual tables, two feet away from each other, splitting up our party. We asked if they can put the tables together and were flat out told no. Why would they accept a party of eight, but not be able to properly sit a party of eight. Apparently " management said it's against policy". Ok... Despite the odd introduction here, we sit and just try and have a good time. The waitress takes our drink orders and while some things come out very fast, the drink my girlfriend ordered was not the correct one. We tell the waitress that it's the wrong one and she opens the menu and doubles down saying no you ordered this one "maybe you got confused".. we all in agreement were like no you didn't order that drink. So I guess the customer isn't right.. But in order to not cause any problems we accepted the drink and were just trying to get through the rest of the dinner. After this point the waitress was basically non existent and barely ever came to our table unless we had to flag her down. For some odd reason, the bus boy takes my water cup and no one else's, and doesn't replace it. I ask for a glass of water when I asked if I wanted "another drink" and I never received it. This is the old Mamajuana's Restaurant but on steroids. Totally revamped and fun filled. Valet is $10 and be sure to make a reservation. They do accept walk in's but you will have to wait for a table in the front area. Reservations get to hang by the bar until your table is ready. Now... let's talk about the drinks....they are AMAZING and not expensive at all. The cocktails come in amazing glasses and half of them have dry ice, the presentation is phenomenal. Now for the food.... It's pretty much the same menu as Mamajuana's had. But no complaints here. If you are balling on a budget, this is where you want to be. Oh and there's also entertainment. At first we were seated in a room outside the main restaurant area we asked to be moved and the hostess was nice enough to accommodate to a table near the bar. Once seated they ask for you to order everything since the kitchen gets backed up. We all enjoyed the vibe but agreed the music could have been a lot better. Not to mention the constant bday celebrations felt like we were hearing the same thing on repeat. The big adonis bob head and the dancers is cute gets the crowd going for a bit. The food was good. I had the Lomo which was a bit salty but it balanced out with the sweetens of the cocktails. The fun part about it all were the cocktails and how they are displayed. Overall it was a good experience, it's a place to celebrate, take pics, eat and exit. We all had a main course shared an app and two drinks each and we all paid less than $100 pp. The front is always packed with people waiting to be seated so you do feel the rush as your sitting to hurry along. The parking...is questionable. Not sure how or why they are charging $10 to park in an commercial area. The signs are also very confusing it doesn't say where the valet starts so if it's your first time here you are scrambling trying to figure out where to go. Ok so I'd start the review with the place was really nice, I like the vibe and the open layout of the restaurant. The staff was great and greeted us as soon as we walked in and asked if we had a reservation, we were seated in under 5 minutes it was early and we entered at 4 pm but it was somewhat full for being that early. We got to our table and the waitress was super friendly and helpful so much so we had a concern with the way the cups smelled as if they weren't clean enough and had a egg smell to them, again I didn't make a big fuss but surely made her aware of it and she came and swapped it out immediately. We continue to order our drinks and went for the big boy tomahawk steak, which came with 2 sides white rice and toastones. Considering the sides I will say they could be a bit more if you state the tomahawk on menu states for 2 but hey I'm not even mad the tomahawk made up for it in a big way. Well let's get to the overall appearance of the place and Resturants and other staff. The appearance very clean and staff dressed amazing with gloves on for handling food. A+ Restroom clean and easy to get too Food was really good and highly recommend. The overall bill wasn't bad for 2 and drinks and water came out to roughly $250 being $155 for the tomahawk. Note: the Parking situation was a bit odd because it's like your forced to park with valet as the plaza parking is designated spots for other businesses which you can get towed and no one would be responsible but I am glad the attendants did mention something so we parked further down the street as we weren't staying long. But parking is $10 which isn't bad for a birthday party and or a longer stay. My friend made reservations for last Saturday in Jan for 6 people at 9:30p, we waited almost an hour to be seated. The restaurant doesn't have the capacity for the volume of the popularity it has. This is the old Mama Juana location in a shopping center. Parking is chaotic, they charge $10 for valet and it is very slow. There is a men and women's bathroom with 3 stalls each as you can imagine the line for the women side was very long and slow. Once sat down our waitress was very nice great personality, our drinks came out pretty fast the pricing is more for presentation than flavor. The appetizers were good the croquetas and chicharrón I would order again but the pica pillo was bland 3 drum sticks on a small pile of mash potatoes, the pulpo was the last thing to arrive after everyone has finished and it was undercooked. The side dishes ordered with the tomahawk steak arrived next before the 2 other entrees, yuca fries (good), tostones looked old and were hard like they had been fried multiple times, the yuca mash came out cold like a paste, the chicken entree with the bechamel sauce was good but the description mentioned plátano maduro inside but it was literally 2 pieces placed between the chicken, the tomahawk was good they offered and herb butter. The best thing I tasted that night was a sauce that came with the chicharrón, the restaurant is loud, and crowded, the djs were excellent. The manager did come around to see how the service was and we did mention the wait time and food timing, so he gave us complementary champagne. We had a 7:00 PM reservation on 2/28 for 10 people to celebrate my mom and my birthday, but we weren't seated until about 7:45 PM. Once seated, it immediately felt like we were rushed to order drinks, appetizers and entrees. The drink I ordered was the same one I had back in December, but this time it tasted watered down and not nearly as good as I remembered. The appetizers were very good, but the entrees were inconsistent. I recommended the Romo pasta to my daughter because it was amazing the last time I visited it was creamy, cheesy and delicious. This time it was watery and lacked flavor. My son's pasta was also disappointing. After we finished eating, our plates were cleared quickly. They brought out dessert to sing happy birthday, which we appreciated, but only a few minutes later the check was brought and we were asked if we could kindly leave because they had other guests waiting. We ended up leaving around 9:15 PM. According to the reservation terms, parties of 9+ are supposed to have 2 hours and 30 minutes of dining time. Since we weren't seated until 7:45 PM, that would have been until about 10:15 PM. I had also paid a $100 deposit to secure the reservation, which was sent to me as a gift card by text to use that night. Because everything moved so quickly, I didn't even get the chance to use it and was told I can use it next time. Some of the family members who joined us I hadn't seen in a few months, so it was disappointing that the experience felt rushed and we barely had time to catch up. Dear Manager/Owner, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a humiliating incident that occurred at your restaurant. Last Saturday, my nephew was invited by several family members to celebrate his birthday at your establishment. He had been looking forward to the occasion and was excited to celebrate his special day there. Unfortunately, from the moment he arrived, his experience took a very upsetting turn. When he checked in, your hosts informed him that he would not be allowed to dine because he was wearing sandals. While I understand and respect that your restaurant may have a dress code, it should be enforced consistently and fairly as other guests were wearing flip flops. It is unacceptable to deny service to one guest while allowing others to violate the same policy. What made the situation even more upsetting was the manner in which he was treated. The staff's attitude came across as dismissive, demeaning, and biased, leaving him embarrassed and humiliated in front of his family on what should have been a joyful celebration. I respectfully ask that you review both this incident and the way your dress code is communicated and enforced. Policies should be applied equally to all guests, and every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect. I also encourage you to provide additional customer service training to your staff so that situations like this are handled with greater sensitivity and professionalism in the future. I would appreciate a response outlining how this matter will be addressed and what steps will be taken to ensure that no other guest experiences similar treatment. I look forward to hearing from you. It is a vibe only after 8pm. Unfortunately for us we booked at 6pm and the show dodnt start until 8:15. We ordered appetizers : chicharon, platantain,croquettes, octopus and ribs(all in order in fav) . For entree the tomahawk (came with a show, not too exciting or interactive ) ;also good enough for 4 people, chicken with plaintain dish, fried shrimp rice, all pretty good. My only complaint was that the there should be some steak sauce available for the steak , incase your not into chimichurri, and when the show happens the man should make sure to slice the steak in edible pieces. Our steak was very fatty and still stuck together after being chopped, I understand medium rare might be a little tough to cut but taking the time might make the experience of eating it more delightful. We got lucky to be leaving right when the show started, our waitress went above and beyond and walked into the bathroom to tell us the show started. That is real customer service ! I will be back! Went out with 2 of my friends and tried a little bit of everything. I love the creativity and uniqueness of this palace along with the nicely put together dining area. They have valet parking which I think it very necessary in this case because parking looks really complicated here. The cocktails are just as good as they look! Worth every penny. My friends and I all got something different, I got the mamasota drink and it came in a ceramic purse! So cute. All the appetizers we got were delicious too, the pastelitos, tuna tartare, and the chicharrón were all great choices. The only downside was we tried the sampler sushi and it wasn't too good. We were most excited to try this too but I will say it was a solid 6/10. Not really what I expect when I get sushi but definitely original. Next time i will try a better entree. It was very lively inside, they had performers and dancers come out randomly and I personally enjoyed it. read more

Sadly, it's as lackluster and bad as they say. Came in as a group of 10. Had to wait to be seated since the entire party wasn't there. No big deal. We finally get seated and the table isn't big enough for the entire party. We ordered drinks, my lychee martini had zero lychee flavor other than the two lychee garnishes. It also had an off taste. Waiter graciously got us lychee juice to add to our drinks. It still had an odd taste but again, no big deal. I ordered the pulpo version playa and it was nothing like it was pictured. In fact it had less than half of what the online menu showed. The octopus was chopped up in thin coins. Ridiculous but the sauce was good. Got the Cesar salad with steak and avocado. The avocado never arrived, I was never asked what temp I wanted my steak it just arrived well done. It was still somewhat tender so we didn't send it back. The salad was just hearts of romaine chopped in half with dressing and croutons on top. Nothing special. Someone in our party ordered a bottle of champagne. They only brought out two glasses. We had to request 3 more as it was for the females at the table. It would have made more sense to ask how many were needed. Lastly, the valet. Just park your own car or take a cab. Valet is $10 which you pay when you leave. Well they first couldn't locate my car and had me waiting super long. My entire party got their cars before I did. I went ahead and located my car via the app and even put the lights on and honked the horn. They were still unable to find it. One of the parking attendants tried to pacify me saying the car was already being brought over despite me being able to clearly see on the app that my car was still parked. A few minutes pass and at the far end of the parking lot I see my car speeding towards the lot and makes a sharp turn in to it. I turn to the attendant next to me and yell, "he's driving my car like her pays the car note" all in Spanish and he acts like he doesn't hear me. The valet guy gets out my car and when I get in I notice random music playing. Apparently they took it upon themselves to pick a playlist and just jam to some music. Even turned the A/C all the way up for their comfort. I wish this were a damn joke. The lack of professionalism is astounding. Our server Isaac was great. Awesome guy. The women's bathroom attendant was also great. The security staff are on point and super helpful. Yet this doesn't make the overall experience any less disappointing. The place is pretty, music is good, entertainment was nice but I'm not going back anytime soon. read more

Great food and great service. The Dominican vibes are definitely there too. Definitely try the "romo pero feo" drink.

The ambiance was perfect for an upscale date, beautifully set and inviting. The service was pleasant and attentive throughout the evening. The drinks were visually stunning, though my straight Hennessy and Coke tasted a bit weak... maybe that's just me, i was expecting romo feo . We did experience an issue with rude security on the way out, but thankfully ELI stepped in and handled the situation with care and professionalism, which made a big difference. As the night went on, the atmosphere shifted into full party mode, complete with a stunning show, it was a fun and memorable experience overall. Like many new businesses, there are a few growing pains, but team members like ELI show that this place is on the right track for growth. Looking forward to returning. read more
