There were a few bits of litter ... and guess what? I picked them up so I don't have to see them again! Respect the place your using for free or it will disappear. You could jog past a piece of litter for laps/miles and then go home write negative reviews on yelp for 15 minutes whining about it, or you could pick it up in 5 seconds and do your part, jeez. No poop when I was there, but I'd pick that up too. No potholes either but you could fill those yourself too, the track is wide. Also, anyone smoking whatever they want is none of your business, lung police. The more runners there, the better for the your lungs.

My lil brother and his wife used to run xc and track here and liked the track as well. Bathrooms are okay. Normally they don't have soap, paper towels, or seat covers during the games, but at least they're not all gross. I don't know if the water fountains work, I'm afraid to drink from them and normally bring my own water. The concession stands here during football games are okay and the staff is pretty friendly.

The theater isn't huge like your typical movie theater, but honestly, that wasn't a negative for us at all. We actually really enjoyed the smaller, more intimate feel. What really stood out was their extensive food menu. My husband and I tried their taquitos, and honestly, they were so tasty! We also got the nachos. My husband gets nachos every single time we go to the movies, and he loved the Hispanic twist they put on these. Beer, good food, and a movie? We were definitely satisfied! They also have signature cocktails inspired by the movies they're showing, which I thought was such a cute touch! We'll definitely be back.

Outdoor fields do not have to be dirty, people!…read more Hollywood Sports Park Combat Center is great. There are concrete floors, and they clean out the bbs mid-day so there aren't injuries. The environment is awesome. They have a Combat Center field, and a Scenario Field, and they alternate play, so if you really wanted to, you can play non-stop. Currently Combat Center has a Middle Eastern/ Arabian theme going full with foreign McD's posters shot full of holes. I hear the Scenario Field has a Mid-West theme going. You get a discount for going early on weekend mornings, or if you are military/ industry. I love playing with real buildings, where you can climb stairs, hide behind abandoned cars, and hide behind curtains. It really adds an element to the gameplay. Even the staging area has vehicles and pipes for a military feel. It's also great how they have enough refs to keep games going, constantly. They are good at having game after game after game. I didn't like how they had Scenario games, in the middle, and closed off Combat Center for half an hour, though. I took a nap during this time. It is also a very woman friendly, and kid friendly park. I love seeing female refs, and clean facilities! Great job on being equal opportunity, and representing all groups! I did not enjoy how around 3:00-4:00 the park started getting really crowded, and they started doing campaigns where buildings were off limit. It's really much too crowded to limit where people can hide. It ruins gameplay. Most recently, I went on a Saturday, and the cheating was incredibly bad. Switching fields did not help, and the refs did not seem to know how to stop it. After a bunch of people left because of how bad the cheating got, the ref closed off all buildings. THIS DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF GOING TO COMBAT CENTER. It became UNPLAYABLE because bands were not calling hits. I had experienced team members, and industry members, and there was only 1-3 people on the other team calling hits. Some of us hit some of their members multiple times in the same game, and those people kept playing, and when we complained to the refs, they told us "oh no, them again?" like they weren't sure what to do about it.

They came out and explained the rules, among them regarding kids. If you have children with you that DON'T want to get scared, you can tell the monsters, "Code Green!" and the monsters will in turn act scared of YOU. The kids in line ahead of us were all bravado as they bragged they'd be shouting, "Code Red!" whilst walking the maze. As they got closer to the front and could hear the screams of other guests going through the experience, they ran back to their group of parents and other kids, crying. This year's theme is "The Temple of the Fallen God," with a backyard maze filled with Aztec and Egyptian themes, giant spiders, dragons, skeletons and archaeologists jumping out at you all over. Don't want to ruin the surprise, but again, for a home haunt it's pretty impressive. As far as I remember, there wasn't really any blood and it's a full no touching zone. With that said, they were still quite good at surprising and scaring people without being in-your-face gory. They're free admission, and still put their all into it. I highly recommend them, especially if you're doing the Halloween circuit with Backwoods and Rotten Apple.

I guess they don't sell candy anymore and they don't have cashiers to help with anything: you can only order a few chocolate candies so that was a hard pass. And again they had an elaborate rope system for the "line" but since there are no cashiers it doesn't seem used.

Much better than the t shirts they used to give away. This is a great tournament to begin your competition journey. Sometimes you get some competitors from Jiujitsu World League and IBJjF here, which means you get to compete against them at a fraction of the cost compared to other tournaments. If you are one of the first 100 people to register, you can do gi and nogi for 79.99 total. That can't be beat as other tournaments cost over a hundred for one division. Spectator fee is $12 on line and $15 at the door. They don't accept cash. Definitely recommend.

I just want to point out that the stuff is beyond amazing. I decided to take my kids today, 2 & 4…read moreyears old. I was really upset because of a Dad and his little girl, must have been 7, 8 years old we're in the toddler area. The girl had an accident inside the ball pit and I overheard the Dad scolding her for peeing, but didn't inform anybody that she even had an accident. My son was in the ball pit when this happened, and I noticed that there were wet footprints on the floor and on the edge of the pit. I grabbed the spray that they had and sprayed the area down, not thinking anything of it. One of the staff noticed that I did that and right away brought towels and sprays to clean the area and another staff member came over and asked me to take my son out because they were spraying chemicals in the pit area to sanitize. When I took him out, he was completely covered in pee all over the back of his shirt & shorts. My son wears diapers so I know it wasn't him. I was really upset, and I told the staff, I went to go talk to the manager about it, and they fully refunded me for the time that I was there. My kids were upset cause we had to leave early, we were 35- 40 minutes in & the guy in the front gave them lollipops, with my approval, to help me calm them. The staff there is amazing and on it about Cleaning and sanitizing everything. They shut the whole toddler section down just so they can sanitize the entire area. As far as that, Dad, it's extremely disgusting that he tried leaving without saying anything to anybody. Accidents happen that I understand but keeping it to yourself and then trying to leave without informing staff is beyond me.

Buying a medium sized container of feed was more than enough, IMHO. Visitors are required to feed only the goats & sheep from the other side of the enclosure. Without feed, visitors can enter the closure & pet/brush the animals. Besides the goats & sheep, there are 2 pigs, chickens, and in a separate enclosure, emus & a cow. No access allowed to those, however. Pony rides are an option for little kids. The ride is around an oval track. There is also a playground area to burn up some energy. A few handwashing stations on premises to stay hygienic during your visit. Barnyard Buddies is an accessible nearby barnyard experience. I was lucky enough to grow up around chickens, so I'm not new to livestock. It's my firm belief kids should be around animals, and know where their food comes from, whether it be eggs, milk and/or meat. While not a place I'd recommend traveling large distances to visit, for those nearby or whom happen to be in the area, Barnyard Buddies is a wonderful opportunity to feed enthusiastically hungry goats & sheep, and brush plump piggies.
