About two years ago I was calling around town to find a barber who cuts hair and uses a straight razor for my lining. I called Ronnie Barber Shop and the woman who answered, maybe Lan told me they indeed use a straight razor and also will give me a shave if I choose. I immediately went to the shop, which isn't too far from my house and Lan was available to cut my hair. I told her how I wanted it cut and also took her offer for a shave. She was so friendly and personable during the cut and shave, I felt very comfortable with her. Afterwards, I was very impressed with her work as I told her she made me look 21 years of age again, although I was 62 years old at the time. I've been going back ever since and started out going every other week. I not only enjoyed the cuts, shave and hospitality with wonderful conversation, I just enjoy being pampered, which is how I feel when I go there. I look forward to my visits to the barber shop. I recently became permanently retired so I now am only able to go once per month or so but still look forward to doing so. I met Ronnie, the owner one time and expressed my total satisfaction of Lan's cutting and shaving skills. I also acknowledge that the entire staff is friendly and do wonderful work with other people's cuts and shaves. I had Tammy cut my hair and give me a shave once while Lan was on vacation and she did a wonderful job as well. I say Lan is my barber for life because she was the first barber I was in contact with there and out of all due respect to the rest of the barbers at Ronnie Barber Shop, I know they are all capable of being just as good. read more

Husband isn't one to leave bad reviews but after being present with him yesterday when he got his cut I must be the one to review this place.. walked in yesterday around 11:50am, they had 3 people ahead of us, husband waited about 20 minutes before he was helped by the older Asian man the last one from the entrance.. sadly he completely messed my husbands hair after he asked for a medium fade he gave him the most botched cut.. when he was done and he showed him I could literally see his disappointment and if it were up to me I definitely im wouldn't have paid them. Completely ruined his day that's for sure.. I heard my husband tell the man "oh no, that's not a medium fade it's so high up and not even" and the man literally told him "oh it'll grow" Another guy sitting in the middle getting his hair cut by a lady was also so upset by how she wanted to leave his hair and as much as he tried getting her to fix, it just seemed she kept messing it up more.. read more

I came by this shop after trying a ton of different barbers. I got my haircut by Ronnie, the owner, who is an absolutely great barber. He pays attention to detail, and is a master at his craft. Ronnie is also very personable, and treats you like family. He wants to get to know you, and made me feel very comfortable. I got a lot of compliments on my haircut after it was done! I went in a second time, and this time I wasn't seen by Ronnie since he was out of the office. Instead, I was seen by a female barber (sorry I forgot to ask your name). Like Ronnie, she did a fantastic job at cutting my hair, and was super gentle. She did an excellent job. Much like Ronnie's haircut, I got a ton of compliments about my haircut! Ronnie's barbershop is open every day and are always available for their customers. Their product is consistent, and the customer experience is very good. Epic. I had been growing my hair for a year during the Covid quarantining, just to see what I could do with it at my age. What I learned was that I'm capable of growing a lot of bushy, curly hair out the sides and back of my head, and somewhat straight, thinning hair on the top. As fun as all that sounds, I've started to consider my impending reemergence into society. The caveman look is SO 2020, but what would my game plan for 2021 look like? Luckily, my wife and I were looking through Yelp reviews for barbers, and she found Ronnie Barber Shop. Not too far from our home, and conveniently located about 50 paces from Temple Coffee (for a victory drink afterwards), so we went in last Sunday morning. It's a comfortable environment, a nice old-school barber shop. Two barbers working on a couple guys ahead of me, so we relaxed and waited until it was my turn. My barber asked me what I wanted, and gave me a great cut. Tight on the sides, and left the length on top, which gives me several styling options. He took his time and got it right. Then shaved my neck and temples with a straight razor, and ended with a quick neck and head massage. If men could have a "spa day", I think this would be it! They charged a fair price, I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't ask for hazard pay, considering all the demolition work that needed to be done here! Ronnie Barber Shop has earned my business. My husbands barber retired last year and he was looking for someone to cut his hair in the same style. His Barber of 20 years used scissors and always cut it the way he described. His hair is longer than younger guys, but he wanted to maintain the style and length. Ronnie's Barber Shop happened to be near us and had good reviews. Unfortunately, he had a terrible experience with him. He started trimming with long clippers. He showed my husband how it looked and he said NO shorter. So then, he immediately went over his sides with much shorter clippers than had been used on him in 50 years. Too say the least, he was upset, in that his hair was probably not 1/2 inch long all over. He told him he was very upset with how the haircut looked, but Ronnie just ignored him and said "that will be $25.00". Never would recommend this shop to anyone! read more
