Last week Wednesday (1/7) I called because we had a mini-split installed (DIY) and I was told that before you turn it on, have an HVAC company come out and test it, check the pressure in the lines and then turn it on. When I called, the nice lady on the phone said that they do not diagnose or work on equipment unless they have done the installation. OK, no problem, I called their "sweet" competitor and they sent out a technician within 48 hours to do the job. 2 stars only because the lady on the phone was nice, although again, I am shocked that a service company will not do service calls

Starting from scratch as we only had a floor furnace before. They installed the machine, ran new duct work throughout our home. They were prompt everyday, they likewise cleaned up at the end of everyday. They explained the online function and helped us to get the app needed to control the unit from our cell phones. I called him from my wife's phone and he picked up right away. He told me he would come out again to check the system but after that, refused to answer calls from both phones. This was an expensive system and he tried to do the install as quick as he could while taking shortcuts. To make it worse, you can't even get ahold of him to follow up on mistakes.
