I waited a few months to write this this review, but after finding another cleaning service, I thought it could be helpful to share. When we originally booked with Roochii, it was an easy enough process and the initial cleaning was outstanding. Over the months, their cleanings were very hit and miss, depending on the team they sent. Almost all of the time, the cleaners missed the two hour arrival window for the monthly cleaning. The value was initially great, when the cleanings were, but we decided to cancel our service with them after a few really bad cleanings (didn't take out trash in bathroom, left baby's full diaper pail open, didn't vacuum the stairs, etc.). They did offer to do a re-clean, but it was too much of a pain trying to coordinate timing with them when we have a rambunctious dog and a baby. Fast forward a few months and we've found a new cleaner who is much more affordable and pays way more attention to detail. read more

When I left I an satisfied review, rather than try to understand, learn, make things better. They posted my full name and phone number as an example of why I was a bad customer and was disrepectful? Can you imagine working for a company that took a customer who paid in full on time and posted them on their site about how the customer was wrong and evil for saying they were not happy? - I never said they overcharged. I said the reason that they told me it went over estimation was to clean the window, which I told them to go ahead and do....then I spent two hours cleaning the windows....which were the whole reason the estimation went way over. - You also never provided me with any information about your guarantee. I found you on yelp. If you want me to know about the 24 hour return policy, put it on Yelp. Instead I hear about it for the first time from an argumentative Jovalney called me and said what you are right, that it's unacceptable for me to leave a bad review when I did cash in on your 24 hour policy....how about ask me if I am aware of it first? Also, how about just do a good job on the day where you took 50% longer to do a task and then I had to do that same task. - It became a nightmare when Jovaleny called me to argue with me...then you posted my personal info on your site and tried to make me look like the bad guy because I was not happy with service. - Also the feature you want Yelp to disable...if Jovalney called me and did not argue and you all listened and said we are sorry you feel this way, my 2 star wuld have become a 4 or 5 star. Instead, he called me to argue because he did not like feedback and then you posted that stuff on your site (terrible idea), so I changed it form a 2 to a 1. Sequence of events: - I hired them. - They took a long time to clean and ask me if I wanted them to finish up the job that was already going over because of the windows. I said OK. - They invoiced me. I paid in full. - I found the cleaning that I paid a lot for was unsatisfactory to the point that I had to clean the windows and the place for two hours. - I left them a review that I was not satisfied. - Rather than call me to inquire about my dissatisfaction, I got an argumentative call telling me all the ways that I was wrong. Citing website policies I've never seen because I hired them through a yelp project. - I ended the call rather than argue with them and since I paid in full, I figured that was the end of it. - They followed up with the below response and linked to a page they created on their site that exposed my full name and phone number all because I left a review where I was not satisfied. - I had to make complaints to Yelp, BBB to get them to take it down. I am furious with this company!!! I asked for a quote they gave me an estimate and said they need to come do an in person estimate. They were scheduled to come at 12:30. At that time they called and said they wouldn't be here until 2 pm because they were running behind. I said that's fine. They didn't show to my house until 2:20. She came at that time walked through my house and said she would be in contact with me the following day with my final pricing. The following day was Saturday. Never heard from them. Sunday rolls around and I had to contact them to find out where my estimate was. They said "oh we will have it to you shortly". Hours go by and nothing. Finally received it late in the afternoon that day. I accepted the offer. Told them to come on Friday and then immediately told them it was my mistake as I was double booked and to see if they could come on Monday, March 1. They said yes we will be there at 11:30. They sent me two follow up reminders saying they will be here at 11:30. At 11:26 they call to tell me that they won't be here until around 12:30. I can not stand when people change times on me last minute as if I have no schedule! It infuriates me! I have no clue how their cleaning services are because I told them to not come because I have other things I have to do and can't wait around all day for them to show up! Do not use this company unless you have all the time in the world and don't have any schedule to attend to! read more

BUYER BEWARE. YOU MAY BE OVERCHARGED I would prefer to give no stars. The owner and 2 cleaners arrived 15 minutes late. She was pleasant and translated for the 2 cleaners. I made it clear 2 hours help was all I wanted as I had been deep cleaning myself. They left At 10. The house looked better though not deep cleaned. All fine BUT the invoice overcharged me by $114! I agreed to 2 hours max cleaning for $75 an hour (2 cleaners). I will contest with my credit card. A hassle and altogether an unpleasant experience. read more

I am a fair person and I waited for you to own this and We could have moved on and I would have erased this review. The saddest part is you still will not take responsibility for this. You had my number for three days and could have called me any one of those three days. Instead you keep saying that you needed to do a phone estimate and that is why you canceled the appointment when you could have called. You did not check to even see if I left a message until Sunday night and then emailed me at 10:07pm. You would not have emailed if you had read the message any earlier. I am mostly disappointed that you can't even say I'm sorry I dropped the ball. I would have understood and still used your services. Your not humble enough to own your own faults and that is not a trait to be proud of. Like a kid you made this difficult by doing anything and everything except taking responsibility. read more

I needed cleaning for my condo and was very happy with Roochii's services. First, they were very prompt with their communication and scheduling a cleaning. One suggestion, however, was that the date and time was set by Roochii - I didn't seem to have an opportunity to discuss this, but it was my first time using this service, so maybe the next time, they will ask me when it would work for me. The cleaning team arrived late, but they did contact me, so I could rearrange my schedule (although I had already left a luncheon early so that I could be home at the scheduled time). We needed to have carpet cleaning before we moved into a house. This company was extremely helpful and accommodating. I really felt comfortable with their prices and quality. They were able to fit us in short notice. The unfortunate thing was that their equipment did not fit into our basement. There is an electric chair mounted for assisting people up and down the stairs so the machine could not get past it. So I guess keep in mind if you have tight spaces. We did go ahead and have them clean the one room upstairs and it looked brand new! I am sorry we were not able to use them for all of it. Nick was the carpet cleaner that came out. He was very nice. I moved out of my apartment that I lived in for a very long time with my dog. After moving slowly to my new condo for almost two weeks slowly, just didn't have the energy to clean up for another weekend. I decided to have them help me finish up. The process was transparent, prompt and clear. They have someone on the phone call back ASAP, they send you a link to easily sign and pay, and they have email receipts. They will send reminders via email and they also notify by text, and notifications when they're done. The whole process is very modern. The clean up is great, two ladies came in on time and worked non-stop for a few hours. Only issue is the quote is obviously a little low and ended up paying slightly higher, granted my apartment was not in the best shape so it took an extra hour. I went back to check (I tried to bring back bottles of water because they were sweating in there) but by the time they've already finished. They never used any of the stuff that I left them to use (ie you don't need to give them anything, they have all the stuff with them) and left most of the stuff exactly where I left them. Very thorough clean inside cabinets and my fridge. I was kinda embarrassed about how dirty my fridge was and my floor but they were just professional. They got most of the staining at the tub, and the crusting of the hard water on the faucets off. Also the back part of the toilet that's hard to reach. Jovany then came in and clean up (best he could) what is 15+ year carpet with lots of stains. They did the best they could, certain things are just old and permanent chemical staining on tiles I couldn't possibly fault them on it. Overall, I'd given them 4.5 but because they're a small business, hiring people that need jobs (and does great work) and promptness/easy process/general professionalism, I'll just give them a perfect score.
