It's conveniently located not too far from downtown New Braunfels, but still gives you that quiet, quaint, bucolic getaway feel. Definitely a place we would stay at again.

The food came pretty quickly considering how packed they were. All orders were just as ordered. My waffle came with syrup and butter on the side so that I could use as much/little as I wanted. Everything was very good, and our waitress never let our coffee mugs get even half empty. She was really good at her job and was also a very good conversationalist. Will I return? Definitely!

Well here is an update..... today we did indeed give it a "second chance" and was devastated when we received the same result. Service still appears to lack employees who are service minded. Very rude, and an overall lack of beneficence. On top of that, our food was to be ready by 12:05, we arrived and didn't get our food till 12:45. Now we were willing to wait, but our food was cold when we picked it up as if it was just sitting there waiting. In fact, we know that is the case because we had a grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese was already hard and had an outer crust to it. When asked about what happened, we were addressed rather shortly with a lack of sympathy. I would ask you all to please be better, but being that my second chance was as bad as the first, I don't think that is quite possible. read more
