    Honey Wheat Beer
    Will W.

Roosters Taphouse at SLC airport is a quick convenient and tasty restaurant you grab a filling meal before a long flight. You can either order via QR code menu or you can order at the bar/table service. Located in concourse A the atmosphere at Rooster's is very relaxed, and feels sheltered from the hustle bustle of the airport. I ordered carnitas mac & cheese and a honey wheat beer. The beer was good and easily enjoyable. Unfortunately I really did not enjoy the old fashioned. It tasted watered down and was HEAVY on the bitters. Cut back on the bitters (I usually only use a dash or two at most) and I couldn't even taste the flavor of the bourbon over the bitters. The carnitas (mac and cheese) was very good although I feel like it would've been better accompanied with a salsa verde. The pork was not smoky tasting but still good. The mac and cheese was good however. Creamy and delicious, this dish is perfect to keep you satisfied during a long flight.

Solid airport food, good service. Option to order and pay yourself on app but it was clunky to use so we opted for server option. Quesadilla was yummy, macaroni and cheese was normal sized portion. Good option if you need to grab a bite before your flight in SLC.

We stopped here for a quick bite and drink on a short layover. Service was great, and the view is amazing! Seriously - go just for the view! Drinks were fine, food was just ok with very few things to choose from. I know airport food is what it is - but we travel enough to know there are some REALLY good places now and this one was just ok. I had street tacos, and they a little bland for me. I'll probably go back for a cocktail, but might grab food elsewhere.

The food at roosters brewing was OK. Just like everywhere else in the airport. It feels overpriced. The atmosphere was nice. It was great to be able to just sit down and relax while eating. Our server was fantastic.

-Racist- Very dim entrance and unclear if the 2 sections are the same restaurant. I felt the snarl and side eye from the servers. I ordered a salad (add asada) and it was pretty good. Long story short, these folks (the 2 servers) are racist... I am Samoan & from CA. I know you can tell I'm not from SLC and that's why I got the HORRIBLE SERVICE and was asked to leave to seat a white Family. She only asked me to leave but I was drinking my drink on a Teams/ Zoom call with my boss. F' this place and I take as a preview of the ROOSTERS business because they allow it, but also the city/state/culture of SLC. If you don't look like a local, probably try another place to eat. These ladies belong at a dive bar deep in the country. In CA that wouldn't fly.

Quick snack at the airport, steak quesadillas and beer. Nothing to write home about, steak was grisly, better to swallow whole assuming you are naked and afraid but not this time. Beer was good, service was good.

Chicken club with avocado.. if you see some light green on the top of the bun that was the avocado!!!

Food servers do adhere to safe food server practices Also the chicken club sandwich with avocado was not what was expected... the avocado was basically a swipe of green on the top of the bun!

We got the pulled chicken nachos while waiting during our layover in the SLC airport - they were delicious! Tons of chicken, the chips didn't get too soggy. We got black beans on the side, it also came with salsa, guac, and queso layered over the chips. The overall experience was pleasant, our waitress was attentive and nice - which is important when you have a flight to catch!

    Naughty Brussels sprouts with ranch

We came on a Thursday night, and it was packed. We ordered the naughty Brussels sprouts & two beers. The food was good and not over priced, so we began to like SLC. Now we started liking it even more because the server was sweet & very honest when she told another customer she forgot to submit their order & if she should still put it thru. I respect the honesty! Finally, there's a Grand piano in front of the restaurant so we listened to a boy play some beautiful music while we ate & drank. Feels like an honest and homey city! I'm impressed.

QR code at the table available. I prefer paper menus. Chicken tenders tasted pasty and barely warm and fries were cold. I got new fries. The waitresses were friendly, efficient and attentive. The beer was cold and brewed to style. Not impressed with the food.

    Southwest salad
    Justine R.

Eh...it was okay for airport food. I got the southwest salad, chicken was dry and could have used more dressing but I was hungry so I did eat it all. There was a QR code to order, the site was easy to use and it was easy to customize my order. Service was fast and everything came out exactly as ordered.

Fries, Turkey sandwich and hazy IPA.

Had some time before my flight to snag a beer. Was happy to find this spot! Wasn't packed and it's open seating. You can order through a QR code or the waitress. My waitress, Kate, was so nice and attentive! I got the turkey sandwich and fries! Wow!!!! They were both sooooo good!!!! IPA I had was delish too! Stopped back the next day after my return flight and was shocked they are open late! 11p! Had to grab a rooster cup for my grandma and Kate remembered me! Also surprising, I'm sure they see so many people in the airport! Definitely will be back next time I fly.

    Tex Mex burger and fries

Went here around 8 pm and it didn't seem to be that busy. Our waitress let us know that you could scan a QR code and order online or we could order with her. There was A LOT of miscommunication or lack of communication between the kitchen and waitresses. I did not get my fries until I was practically done with my burger. We sat right by the kitchen and could hear that 4 other people also didn't have their fries but received their burgers without as the waitresses didn't want our burgers to get cold. Bad time management by the kitchen. Burger was alright a bit dry nothing special. Tried the pepper jack sauce and thought it was very bland. I would not recommend that sauce. The fries were very bland as well. The waitress never refilled my water the whole time I was there. Overall, not impressed and would not come back here.

This is the lettuce they put on my double burger!

After getting my last beer and finding a seat in the back, the shy bartender somehow found his courage to engage and serve other folks, so I naturally took it personally. The ambiance was nice in that it felt like an authentic brewery, not a restaurant that serves beer like some establishments closer to downtown. On a Tuesday, tacosdaddyfoodtruckslc was on the scene serving a brilliant smothered burrito, albeit a bit heavy on rice but still amazing. When I asked a bartender to compare and contrasts two beers, they did so lifelessly and unconvincingly without asking me first what I preferred. It reinforced my perception that the establishment is either low on customer service or selective in the welcoming of guests. I was the oldest person in the brewery at the time and I hope that had nothing to do with it. I was also concerned with their lack of descriptions on their brews, only presenting a name on a wall. A serious and reputable brewer will attempt to communicate their beer to aficionados and this lack of information made me question their commitment to the craft. These are all management issues and given that these deficiencies were outwardly obvious, it makes me wonder what other issues I would find with a little more time here. That said, I was here once and that's enough. Edit: I read the rest of the reviews and I am so happy to learn that their bad customer service, including ignoring customers, is legendary. I got suckered in by the high rating, while failing to read the one- and two-star reviews. I went to another brewery in the area yesterday and am off to have another there (cutting my time here short). I wish this place were better.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service was quick, and everyone made us feel right at home after a morning of traveling. The food was excellent all around. The fish and chips were crispy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The wedge curly fries were a huge hit at our table and are a must-order. The kids' mac and cheese came in a very generous portion and easily could have been shared. The standout for me was the Great American Bison Burger. It was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Between the friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices, and relaxed atmosphere, Squatters was a fantastic start to our Park City trip. Ordering was kind of confusing because you had to wait in line instead of just walking up to the bar. One of the bartenders quickly explained it to us so we got in line. The line moved very quickly. Once we ordered our first beers, we sat at the bar and our bartender then took the rest of our orders while seated there. It seemed like once you ordered and established your seats, you could get waited on at your table but you had to order through the line first. There were 3 or 4 bartenders covering the bar and all the various seating areas. Our bartender was very attentive and we never had empty glasses before she was asking if we wanted another round. There was one time where she got side tracked and there was a very slight delay in bringing the next round for my wife and she profusely apologized and comped that round, but we didn't even notice the delay, to be honest. All the beers were great and the handmade pretzel from a place down the street was delicious. The tasting notes on their menu were spot on for the 5 or 6 beers we tried. They have a lot of seating in the main area and large patio in the back that were both pretty crowded, which is why we sat at the bar. We later found out about their "barrel room" that is in the back behind all the brewing equipment. One of the bar backs said it was a more laidback and quiet area. We peaked back there before we left and had we known about it, we would have sat back there because it's exactly like how it was described. Even with the large crowd we had a great time and it never seemed crowded with the speed of service we got.

The german beers here are one of the best and phenomenal. I can't get enough. The IPA is here are solid as well. Great vibes has TV with sports and a lot of seating and outdoors as well. The only issue I have unfortunately at this visit was I was trying to grab a glass to take home with me. However, there was a huge line for people to get carded so the front desk guy wanted to card them in first. That was understandable as that created a huge line and backed up the front door. However, someone came behind me with cans so he let them pay first and by the time they finish paying, more people were coming in to get carded. He decided to card them instead of letting me purchase a glass . So at that time I had just left instead of waiting for the continuous cycle of getting carded I'm having to further wait. Hopefully when things are busy, they will have someone to help out carting people in. Otherwise fantastic brewery.
