When you're in the SLC airport several times a month, it's a game changer to find a spot where you can actually relax. Roosters has become that place for me. Kali consistently delivers phenomenal service -- and always with a genuine smile. One of the downsides of frequent travel is how rare it is to experience truly friendly service. So when you find someone who goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, it stands out. Kali does exactly that. Even when I'm in a rush, she makes sure my food comes out quickly so I still have time to enjoy it before my flight. It's hard to imagine Roosters without Kali greeting guests with that same positive energy. She's a big reason I keep coming back.

Good place for a drink during a layover and relatively well priced for an airport! Particularly recommend the Bloody Mary

Roosters Taphouse at SLC airport is a quick convenient and tasty restaurant you grab a filling meal before a long flight. You can either order via QR code menu or you can order at the bar/table service. Located in concourse A the atmosphere at Rooster's is very relaxed, and feels sheltered from the hustle bustle of the airport. I ordered carnitas mac & cheese and a honey wheat beer. The beer was good and easily enjoyable. Unfortunately I really did not enjoy the old fashioned. It tasted watered down and was HEAVY on the bitters. Cut back on the bitters (I usually only use a dash or two at most) and I couldn't even taste the flavor of the bourbon over the bitters. The carnitas (mac and cheese) was very good although I feel like it would've been better accompanied with a salsa verde. The pork was not smoky tasting but still good. The mac and cheese was good however. Creamy and delicious, this dish is perfect to keep you satisfied during a long flight.

Solid airport food, good service. Option to order and pay yourself on app but it was clunky to use so we opted for server option. Quesadilla was yummy, macaroni and cheese was normal sized portion. Good option if you need to grab a bite before your flight in SLC.

We stopped here for a quick bite and drink on a short layover. Service was great, and the view is amazing! Seriously - go just for the view! Drinks were fine, food was just ok with very few things to choose from. I know airport food is what it is - but we travel enough to know there are some REALLY good places now and this one was just ok. I had street tacos, and they a little bland for me. I'll probably go back for a cocktail, but might grab food elsewhere.

The food at roosters brewing was OK. Just like everywhere else in the airport. It feels overpriced. The atmosphere was nice. It was great to be able to just sit down and relax while eating. Our server was fantastic.

Quick snack at the airport, steak quesadillas and beer. Nothing to write home about, steak was grisly, better to swallow whole assuming you are naked and afraid but not this time. Beer was good, service was good.

-Racist- Very dim entrance and unclear if the 2 sections are the same restaurant. I felt the snarl and side eye from the servers. I ordered a salad (add asada) and it was pretty good. Long story short, these folks (the 2 servers) are racist... I am Samoan & from CA. I know you can tell I'm not from SLC and that's why I got the HORRIBLE SERVICE and was asked to leave to seat a white Family. She only asked me to leave but I was drinking my drink on a Teams/ Zoom call with my boss. F' this place and I take as a preview of the ROOSTERS business because they allow it, but also the city/state/culture of SLC. If you don't look like a local, probably try another place to eat. These ladies belong at a dive bar deep in the country. In CA that wouldn't fly.

Eh...it was okay for airport food. I got the southwest salad, chicken was dry and could have used more dressing but I was hungry so I did eat it all. There was a QR code to order, the site was easy to use and it was easy to customize my order. Service was fast and everything came out exactly as ordered.

Chicken club with avocado.. if you see some light green on the top of the bun that was the avocado!!!

Food servers do adhere to safe food server practices Also the chicken club sandwich with avocado was not what was expected... the avocado was basically a swipe of green on the top of the bun!

We got the pulled chicken nachos while waiting during our layover in the SLC airport - they were delicious! Tons of chicken, the chips didn't get too soggy. We got black beans on the side, it also came with salsa, guac, and queso layered over the chips. The overall experience was pleasant, our waitress was attentive and nice - which is important when you have a flight to catch!

We came on a Thursday night, and it was packed. We ordered the naughty Brussels sprouts & two beers. The food was good and not over priced, so we began to like SLC. Now we started liking it even more because the server was sweet & very honest when she told another customer she forgot to submit their order & if she should still put it thru. I respect the honesty! Finally, there's a Grand piano in front of the restaurant so we listened to a boy play some beautiful music while we ate & drank. Feels like an honest and homey city! I'm impressed.

QR code at the table available. I prefer paper menus. Chicken tenders tasted pasty and barely warm and fries were cold. I got new fries. The waitresses were friendly, efficient and attentive. The beer was cold and brewed to style. Not impressed with the food.

Fries, Turkey sandwich and hazy IPA.

We visited at least two, during our four days in SLC. This one was the first: a cathedral-style brewpub with a sports bar aesthetic, with decent food, decent drinks, decent service, and decent prices. Everything was decent. You're not likely to be disappointed by anything you order, but you're not likely to be blown away by anything, either (another thing Squatters has in common with McMenamins, I'd say). During our second visit (to another location, but I'm sure the same rule applies), our party was only interested in ordering drinks (one per person, mind you), but we were informed that we *had* to order some sort of food to accompany them (I'm sure this is more of a Utah thing, rather than a Squatter's thing, but still annoying), so bear that in mind if you're looking for a place to just chill with a beverage and watch a game. Still, the vibe here is lively and friendly; assuming your server is as well, which was a coin flip, in our experience. For a fast, casual chain of brewpubs, Squatters has a lot going for it, and I can see why they are popular, as clearly as I can see ways in which they can improve. A little more focus, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, and Squatters could absolutely dominate in SLC, and beyond.

The only issue I have unfortunately at this visit was I was trying to grab a glass to take home with me. However, there was a huge line for people to get carded so the front desk guy wanted to card them in first. That was understandable as that created a huge line and backed up the front door. However, someone came behind me with cans so he let them pay first and by the time they finish paying, more people were coming in to get carded. He decided to card them instead of letting me purchase a glass . So at that time I had just left instead of waiting for the continuous cycle of getting carded I'm having to further wait. Hopefully when things are busy, they will have someone to help out carting people in. Otherwise fantastic brewery.

I had high hopes for locally brewed beer and Asian cuisine, but nothing really hit the mark. Beer was okay. Lukewarm, and decidedly not crispy nor refreshing. Our group was three and we tried a lot of the food on the menu and nothing really hit. The pickled cucumbers were good. The dumplings (which we were told by our server are handmade) were genuinely flavorless and the wrapper was way too thick and chewy. We tried the pork buns as well, same issue, a serious lack of flavor and seasoning. Pork belly entree was middling, just a flavor profile that didn't work. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was fried crispy but the sauce and toppings were unmemorable and lacked any kind of punch or umami to speak of. It came with a side of food service fries, which were crispy but served with plain old ketchup. Oh by the way everything is expensive. Starters were $15+ and most entrees, including noodle soups were $20+ which is crazy. Cocktails were $18 and no wine pour less than $16. The only thing cheap is the beer which makes sense because it was mediocre at best. Server brought the check, said "no rush" and then we waited while he sat three tables, brought drinks for three tables and took two food orders. After 15 minutes I took the bill to the till and had him run it in front of me. I still tipped because I'm not that person. Not going back, there's better beer and Asian food elsewhere.
