Good food, good option for pickup orders. The wings are great. Even when short staffed they make sure you, the customer, is taken care of.

My wife and I came here for dinner last evening. Cynthia from the bar was our server. She gave us exceptional service! We were seated for less than 5 minutes and she had my wife's soda and an expertly poured pitcher of beer waiting for us! Now for the food, I had ordered boneless wings and some dumpster fries (yum) and my wife ordered the chicken ceasar sub. The only complaint I had this trip was our food was slightly overcooked. The chicken was dry in both of our dishes. However with that being said, the food was still delicious and Cynthia begged us to send it back and make it right. Sort of confusing not being greeted when you come in; however, you sit where you want and a waiter comes to you in about 5 minutes max. Food is good, but a little bit expensive. Service was kind of slow but not too bad to where I wouldn't come back. read more

I came in with my granddaughter and she would not ever eat chicken ever in her life and I ask her to try it the chicken wings and I'm so proud of her she ate one and she loved it so know she loves chicken and fried pickles. I was so happy that day out with her I will never forget that day. She is know back in California and she has looked for a Roosters out there and there isn't one. I learned of Roosters in Columbus, Ohio and the one in Huntington is just as good! Now, I only go for the wings that are my favorite anywhere! Combined with the chili cheese wedges (not the fries). Waitress was pleasant and always had a smile! But being nice isn't enough for me...I want good quality food with fresh ingredients considering prices create high expectations. I can only describe this establishment as a Glorified fast food joint! My wife ordered chicken noodle soup and it tasted like Campbell's! My sister ordered a pizza and it looked exactly like it was right out of the box heated in a microwave. My suggestion for what it's worth spend less on TVs and more on quality food. I came here with a friend for dinner. Our waitress took our orders, brought us our food and then told us that they were closing the section we were sitting in but not to feel like they were trying to get rid of us, and to stay as long as we wanted. She did not come back to our table after that. We finished our food, and after sitting there for almost 20 minutes, my friend got up and asked the girl sweeping near our table of we could get a box and our bills. She brought us a box. Sat there for another 10 minutes and I finally got up and asked one of the girls working up at the front counter if she could get our bills for us. The food was good, but the service was bad enough that I don't plan to go back again. I could almost understand if they were packed. Rooster' started in Dayton OH back in 1989 and have really expanded since. Easily the most popular restaurant in Columbus. There are now around 22+ locations and seem to be growing at an enormous rate. I've been eating @ Roosters since the 90's, I eat there at least 2-3 times a month, and have yet to tire of it. It is one of my two favoritie restaraunts, regardless of price. Same thing every time. 10 drums extra crispy, my sauce flavors vary from donkey bbq to hot garlic., Cajun chicken salad w/ ranch, loaded potato skins, celery w/ blue cheese and I wash it all down with a nice cold beer. I received a $25 gift card the Christmas before last. I had been interested in eating there for a while. It was not worth it. The food was horrible. I ordered a burger and loaded fries. The fries were covered in liquid cheese like you would get on loaded fries at a fast food place for half the cost. The burger tasted exactly like a burger from Hardee's and I could not finish it because it had a artificial frozen taste to it. I asked for a manager and let him know that he was a criminal for serving fast food at a restaurant. He apologized and offered to put the money back on the gift card. I told him there was no need I would never return anyway. I really don't understand any good reviews for this restaurant. I guess if your not planning on getting wasted then eating, please stay clear of this of this restaurant. I asked for no gift cards for Roosters this past Christmas. I received another $25 gift card. I just tried the food again a year later. There was no improvement. read more

A very loud sports bar with a million TVs. Roosters is popular with a lot of people, so I guess I'm in the minority when I say i'm just kind of lukewarm on this place. For me, it's usually too loud and too crowded and the service is slow - especially if you go on a weekend evening. The least-crazy time to go is during lunchtime through the week. The prices are reasonable, but a lot of dishes on the menu are just not that great. I went to Roosters several times before I finally found something on the menu that I liked - the naked wings and the White Pizza. The White Pizza was very good. I was glad I stumbled onto it. The wings were good, once I figured out how to order them the way I like them. I find their regular breaded wings to be too dry and overcooked for my taste. And the wings always come breaded unless you specifically ask for them NOT to be breaded. I don't think they even show the unbreaded wings as an option on their menu. You can ask your waiter for them though. Note: If you order 'Hot' wings, you won't get the hottest ones. There are 4 hotter stages of wings than the 'hot' wings. Don't go to Roosters if you have a large group of people and want to be able to talk to your group. It's just too loud, especially for grandma or grandpa. But if you like sports and like to have a few adult beverages and then get boisterous and loud with your friends, you will love Roosters. A lot of people do. I'll go back there, but only during lunch. read more

The restuarant it's self is really cool and has a good atmosphere so long as u don't choose a time when there's a big game. It can get a bit rowdy then. Lol! This is a typical (Huntington) sports bar. The prices are reasonable but the menu is limited. Basically wings (which tasted pre-battered frozen), burgers (nothing particularly special or interesting - terrible bun. Pre frozen patty). They had some sandwiches on the menu - complete with a picture of what may have been the most unappealing "Italian" I've ever seen. There were also a couple salads. I was kinda looking for a "dinner" and it really wasn't on the menu. Handful of beers on tap. The only thing on special was Bud Select (no thanks- they can pay me to drink that). Huntington is not a Foodie town. Nice city - great people. Unfortunately, the restaurants are poor by any other city's standards. If this place was anywhere else it would be 1.5-2 stars for the TV's. read more

Great sports bar and the staff is very accommodating. As an alum of two ACC schools, they were more than willing to let me occupy two TVs last weekend to watch my teams in their respective games. I only had appetizers but the mini corn dogs and mac n cheese bites were delicious and very reasonably priced. read more

This is one of the best wing spots in Huntington and they are a pretty good spot to watch an NFL or college basketball game. They have discounted food on many weeknights and beer specials as well. Located in the center of town at energetic Pullman Square and near a movie theater and lots of other attractions. Lots of delicious salads on the menu also. read more

Loved the food, always hot. Very disappointed in my 2 most recent experiences. First experience our waitress' breath reeked of cigarettes. The second, we were asked to seat ourselves and waited over 20 minutes to have our order taken, while the restaurant was 55-60% full. Many waitresses looked at us then turned away, one even walked by us to take the order of a party who was seated 15 minutes after us. Probably the worst chicken wings I have ever had in my life... pulling them apart water or grease ran out from inside the chicken.. they were mushy and had no flavor other than tasting like dishwater.. the coating was gross..
