Elias helped me out with a clogged toilet that took minutes to fix! I had different experience with a plumber a year ago with a similar issue. Then, I was quoted a few thousand dollars to replace a section of a main line due to roots growing through the pipe. Well, Elias solved the issue so quickly that I asked if we could check the main line with a camera like last year. Once the camera was setup, He insisted I watch the screen with him during the process, which I didn't due a year ago. Guess what? Pipes were all clear! Elias and his crew were the best plumbers I have ever hired. 3 days before my new renters were supposed to move in, I discovered we had a hot water problem. Elias helped me try to solve the issue without doing a complete galvanized to copper replacement. But ultimately, that is what we had to do. He was fast, professional, met all deadlines, and delivered what was promised. Most impressive was his ability to be an expert in his field and still be a great communicator too. He texted me photos of his progress and was able to dial internationally (3 other companies couldn't figure out how to dial an international number). Elias and his team are very professional and courteous. They helped me upgrade the galvanized piping to copper in the entire house as well as the installation of an earthquake automatic shut-off valve. His team was very careful not to contaminate the interior of the house. After their work, they cleaned up all the mess near the working areas and restored the appearance. Elias and his crew are amazing. They did my sewer lateral and the EBMUD inspector that came to inspect the work complimented the work done by Elias and his crew. The inspector said that the work was one of the best he has seen. Elias is highly responsive and his prices are very fair. He is also honest. I asked him to give me an estimate on adding French drains around the property because water is entering the crawlspace. Elias was honest and said that he wasn't sure how water is entering the building and that he would recommend not doing anything at this time until we find the source of the problem. While another plumber wanted to charge me a ridiculous price to add a bunch of French drains and sump pumps. When I asked that plumber where and how water was entering the building, he couldn't give me a specific answer. He just gave me a bunch of scenarios of how water could possibly enter the house. Let's just say, I will not be contacting that plumber. Elias on the other hand wanted to find the root of the problem before he recommended solutions. He could have recommended installing a bunch of French drains like the other plumber. Instead, he was looking out for my best interest. Elias was fantastic. I was afraid I'd broken my disposal with a shattered glassware that somehow fell down the tubes and stopped my blades flat. I feared having to take apart the whole thing after grinding the blades from under the sink and digging out all the junk I could. It was time for re-enforement. Elias is the most trustworthy and quality plumber you'll find in the East Bay. We were referred to him through our realtor - needed to have the lateral line replaced after buying in Oakland. Elias came out in one day to give an estimate, was extremely knowledgable and walked us through the whole process. As soon as we hired him, he immediately arranged everything with the city, got the permits, kept us up to date on progress and scheduled the work the day after he got the permit to begin.
