Absolutely avoid if you want an honest assessment or technician willing to work. I confirmed in advance that we wanted our sewer line cleaned to comply with our inspection during our home sale. The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. My advice is to ask a lot of questions before hiring any plumbing company. Ask who will actually be doing the work, whether they are licensed plumbers or working under a licensed plumber, how emergency callbacks are handled, what happens if your installation isn't completed the first day, will they pull your plimber off your job to go.to another more urgent situation, will they discuss city permits with you and what protections they use inside your home, such as shoe covers. My experience taught me not to assume that "24-hour service" or "five-star experience" means the same thing to every company.

I had a clogged main line, and water was backing up through my basement drain. Marty came and…read morecouldn't find a good way to put in the drain snake, so he suggested pulling out the basement toilet, which I didn't think was a good idea, but complied since he is a professional. After 10 minutes of trying to snake through the toilet, he discovered that my pipe is broken 6-10 inches in and the drain snake can't go past the broken pipe. Therefore, he was unable to fix the clog and left me with a broken pipe, which I am certain was not broken before he worked on it, since I had a professional plumber come and inspect the pipe. He still bills me the full amount with the additional toilet pull fee, which was $225. I found someone else to unclog my main line going through the basement drain, and it didn't take long at all. Now I have to find someone else to fix my broken pipe, which would run a few thousand dollars. What a terrible experience.
