The ratatouille underneath was well seasoned and delicious. Our server was super sweet and attentive, the service was great.

I was SO impressed today during my experience at Roots in Newark. I came with my 2 young boys and husband and because it was most of our first times, it was a bit chaotic to say the least. We had to go through the line 3 separate times to order everything. Also, my 5 year old didn't want his ingredients to touch, and my 2 year old made a big mess at our table. Chaos aside, ALL of the employees who worked with us tonight were SO SO kind and friendly. They offered to help several times and never got frustrated with us in the slightest. We will most definitely be recommending this place whenever we have a chance. read more
