    Vanilla strawberry scone

Cutest little pink-framed window in a cute little strip mall. At 10:30am on the Saturday after 4th of July, there was no line and we parked right in front. They were out of the cheddar bacon corn biscuits, so we'll have get up earlier next time. The lady at the window was nice and friendly. We bought: 1x Strawberry Vanilla Scone (Texture is like a biscuit and croissant with seasonal strawberries, it's genius) 1x Giant Snack Attack Cookie (Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, packed with peanut butter and chocolate chunks and a mini pretzel which brings extra crunch and salt into that bite) 3x Giant Cinnamon Rolls (I'm a cinnamon roll connoisseur and I came here for this was really excited for it, but it was dry. I was so sad. I bought 3. They were all dry. Maybe not baked fresh? Maybe day old? Super bummed, but the frosting was good) 1x Mini Carrot Cake (Perfectly moist with raisins, nuts, carrots in every bite. The frosting was not overly sweet) I'll have to come back next time we're in Napa, for cinnamon roll redemption and the biscuits. I also had heard there's usually more scone options so I'll be buying/trying all of the scones next time.

Lemon raspberry ice box meringue pie

Bought the lemon raspberry meringue ice box pie for hubby's birthday. It was supposed to be for him to enjoy since I don't like meringue for the eggy taste. Rory told me I would not be disappointed. She was so right! I tasted it and it does not taste eggy. The lemon curd with the raspberry pops in your mouth and the meringue melts in your mouth. It's not too sweet at all. What brings it all together is the graham cracker crust. The family loves it! Thank you Rory.

Rory's has the BEST goodies. The Biscones (all flavors) are so so so good. It's so amazing to have freshly baked treats at home. It makes the house smell great and everything is just delicious. The rolls are now a holiday favorite. The cookies are delicious. And Rory herself is so creative and fun to follow on IG.

    Pizza biscone

Why haven't I written a review yet? Because every darn thing Rory makes is unbelievably delicious and I get overwhelmed trying to decide what to review. There is something really special and satisfying about baking a single serving of a delicious treat to enjoy any time - day or night. Don't even question if you should buy her goods. Just do it. Something looks good? Get it. My freezer is full (of Rory's) otherwise I would buy even more.

I never knew scones could be so amazing and out of this world!! Rory has amazing frozen bake at home treats. I have had multiple items besides scones and they were all great! I look forward to having her items! Yum yum yum !

The restaurant has a counter-service setup where you order first and then find a table, but the layout is a bit tough. There isn't really any free space to stand and review the menu before getting in line without completely blocking the way. I ended up ordering an almond croissant and the loaded chorizo potatoes. I was so excited for the potatoes since it combines three of my favorite things: potatoes, hollandaise, and chorizo. Unfortunately, the taste just didn't live up to the presentation. The chorizo tasted nothing like traditional chorizo, almost like a completely different meat. The dish was heavily doused in sauce that it totally overpowered the flavor. I didn't even manage to eat half of the serving. The saving grace was definitely the almond croissant, which was delicious. It was perfectly buttery yet crispy, and topped with just the right amount of almonds and chocolate. Overall, I think the main breakfast dishes are worth skipping. I don't think I would return here for a meal, but if I had to come back, I would strictly stick to their pastries.
