We were so happy with our wedding cake and cupcakes from Sammycakes! Samantha was so easy to work with and created the most beautiful two-tiered cake along with delicious cupcakes for our destination micro wedding. The cake was not only stunning but also tasted amazing. The frosting was so light and airy, and everyone loved it. She truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our day!

The cake she made!

Sam is so creative and so professional. She made our anniversary cake (pink champagne flavor) and was always prompt in her communication. I had asked for buttercream roses and sent her inspo pics and she executed perfectly. Really appreciate her work and highly recommend her.

The finished cake! It has numerous chocolate layers inside!

After a trial run of a cupcake purchased at her pop up, I ordered a cake from Samantha for a special birthday party and I'm so glad I did! Sam was great to work with--flexible, responsive, helpful with suggestions. And the cake was delicious! Everyone at our little party loved it!

Sam did our wedding cupcakes and cookies! They were so so tasty. She's wonderful to work with, super communicative and works with a number of dietary restrictions! Her GF and Vegan sweets are to die for and you can't even tell they're any different! I always go to her when we're in need of some sweet treats.

We thought it would be a long wait. We were delighted to hear that it would only be about 25 minutes. We were seated within that time. The booths were extra long. I think they could have fit about six people in them. I loved their bright blue colors and the different breakfast art on the walls. The menu offers everything. You'll definitely find something that you like. I had a hard time deciding what to order, but I went with the eggs Benedict. My husband got the kitchen sink scramble. We ordered a side of biscuits because I can never resist biscuits. We were not disappointed. The biscuits were delicious as was everything else. The restaurant is small, with a handful of tables inside and a few out front, but it has a rustic, comfortable feel. The employees were especially welcoming. They chatted with us, asked where we were from, and even wanted to know if we had a favorite BBQ place back home. While talking with them, I got the sense that they put a lot of thought into their food. They had three distinct sauces, and everything felt genuine rather than forced. I had heard about Alabama white BBQ sauce before but had never tried it, so ordering the Bama Chicken Sandwich was an easy decision. My partner got the ribs, and we shared a side of potato salad. The Bama Chicken Sandwich was a hit with both of us. The ribs were also excellent: tender, moist, and full of flavor. I've had a lot of BBQ over the years, and this was definitely some of the best. Great food, friendly people, and a place I'd happily return to.

I ordered 2 platters ($30 each) which came with a little bit of everything: 1 pork rib, pulled pork, tri-tip, a biscuit, mac n cheese, and banana pudding. I loved how they topped it off with fried onions. 10/10 Tri-tip: Was ok. I didn't taste the smokiness. 5/10 Pork Rib: One rib just isn't enough! 9/10 Mac n Cheese: The pasta was a little overcooked but overall tasty. 6/10 Banana pudding: Delicious. 10/10 Overall, the service was great from the beginning to the end. The woman working the register was very friendly and welcoming. It's a small space with few dining tables, and saddle seats, but a very comfortable, giving a homely feel. Definitely worth another trip!
