Decided to give Ros Donuts a try. Ordered a crumb doughnut, glazed and choc old fashion. Glazed was good,chocolate not good and the crumb doughnut was disgusting-it didnt look like a crumb doughnut and tasted oily, idk but it was awful. If I had seen the crumb before purchasing I would not have gotten it but she got it from back where I could not see. The girl who helped me wasnt friendly, i get it your busy you want to keep moving but you just dont take my card and move on to help the next few customers. I'd give zero stars if I could. After we bought my son's costume at the spirit Halloween 2 stores down, we decided to try Ros Donuts. The lady working there (10/9/21 1:20pm) is the worst. No hi, no welcome to ros donuts not even a smile nothing at all. There wasn't a lot of selections at this time so we just bought 6 donuts (3 flavors) I asked if it can be in a box so they don't stick together I would have paid for the darn box no problem. I'd pay for 10 boxes if she wants. And then when we were paying my kid wanted a cold water so I said can I add a water, she goes it's too late you can buy and pay again & add .50 cents. They have a minimum $5 charge so even if I paid for donuts she still charged me, again no problem. Her attitude mattered. After she swiped the card she just went inside the kitchen no thank you, no see you again. Lol there are better donut places around, avoid this one at all cost. read more

Yummy To My Tummy One of my old friends gave this place 2 stars last year, making me wary to go here. Her review mainly has to do with the cashier she encountered, though, and not the donuts. When I first went here, I thought that my old friend was right. The cashier came across as creepy and rude. She rushed me by repeatedly saying, "And?" Shit, lady, I'm new here, give me a chance to decide what I want. Since then, the woman has warmed up to me (my looks definitely have nothing to do with it- as other reviewers have indicated, regulars are treated well). I have also dealt with 2 friendlier cashiers (a girl who helped me in March seems to be new- I could be wrong, but she might be the daughter of the woman who was working with her). I haven't seen him, but the guy who works here is the son of one of the women. Some Prices (I don't think tax is charged here, and I've never been given a receipt): Regular donuts: $.75 each. Large donuts: $1.25 each. Extra large donuts: $1.50 each. I especially recommend the glazed and chocolate donuts. The sugar donuts are just okay, and the maple donuts are pretty good, but not great. If you order a dozen donuts (it's okay if you ask for some large ones), you'll receive 2 free (14 donuts for $9). I didn't the second time I ordered a dozen (this confused me), but I have all the other times. I received some donut holes one time. They were so good. 2 boxes should be used instead of 1 (all 14 donuts will be crammed into a box, and the lid may or may not be adequately taped down). I don't know if they're cheap here or just lacking in common sense (maybe they think that customers wouldn't want to carry 2 boxes, and it must be assumed that some of the donuts are going to be eaten right away). There are 8 types of coffee to choose from (ex: Chocolate Macadamia Nut; Hawaiian Kona), and it's self serve (a large coffee costs $1.75). There are also "flavored liquid creamers at the counter." There are 51 sandwiches to choose from, including breakfast sandwiches. "The breakfast specials are $5 and you can pick one of the breakfasts, a donut, and a small coffee." There's a solid assortment of drinks in the fridge on the right. There are a few tables, but I've never seen anyone eating inside (I've always been in and out within 2 minutes, but I know that this place is busy at times). There's not much in the way of ambiance (the sandwich pictures are impressive, though), but there's a small, but nice, TV on the right side of the counter (Kansas was playing North Carolina in an NCAA Tournament game during one of my March visits). The parking lot is small, but I usually stop by after shopping at Lucky (my wife and I usually park by the Post Office). I stopped in here on a whim after getting a COVID test around the corner. I parked at Lucky's and walked over. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant and an apple fritter. The cashier was super nice and asked me how I wound up there that morning; it felt like a real question instead of small talk. She upsold me on a coffee and now I'm vibrating a bit because it was strong stuff. She threw in a few donut holes with my apple fritter and also gave me a free cup of orange juice! This is the place to be if you want to enjoy a nice breakfast for a reasonable price. They have a vast selection of sandwiches, and croissant-wiches for breakfast as well as lunch. They have a special as well; $5 for a sandwich, donut, and coffee for breakfast OR $6 (lunch) Sandwich, chips and a drink. The lady here also is very generous usually slips in a couple donutholes in your bag along with the donut & sandwich. The coffee on the other hand lacks the aroma that you smell when you walk into your local starbucks, but and again this is a donut shop, so you expect some basic donut shop coffee. My wife likes to stop in here sometimes after filling up her car at the gas station before she heads off to work, so one morning I did the same thing. Being about 7am, it was pretty quiet with a good selection of donuts. I ordered a chocolate bar donut ($1.25) and headed out the door. The donut was good- nice and fluffy, and it didn't have the artificial filmy aftertaste you get with some of the donuts from the grocery stores. I love this place I always stop there at 6:50 AM and the place is already full of customers, they have a large variety of coffees and teas and of course donuts and sandwiches. The lady and her mom are always running to please the customers and very friendly. I only have a comment about the coffee prep are! It should be a little bit bigger so the wait for sugar, leads, etc. Shouldn't be to long as it is. This place is great! Not too expensive and the service is great every time I go. Really the only downside is that their credit card machine will go down every now and then so bring cash just in case. There was a time where I only had my card and the lady working at the time just told me to take the donuts and pay her next time. I refused and hit the ATM and came right back to pick up the donuts.
