THE FOOD HERE IS INCREDIBLE. I was taken back by how great this place is. After hearing some coworkers rave about this place, I decided to take my wife for dinner on a Friday night and they were PACKED!! Luckily the bar area wasn't busy so we got seated immediately there. Service here was great and our server was on it. The menu here is extensive with a great variety of items. My wife and I decided to share our meal and orders the camarones Zanendaeros and a combo plate with Enchiladas Verdes and a Chilli relleno and I kid you not our food was a 10/10. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE DISHES. Overall, we can't wait to come back and try more item off their menu. Great vibe, great food, decent prices what more could you want. Make sure to keep Rosa Madera in mind the next time your going out for dinner, you won't regret coming here. Till next time!

Rosa Madera has a beautiful ambience and seems always busy. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. They charge $14.00 for the guacamole, and it didn't taste fresh at all. My friend ordered a small side of sauces and was charged $2. ridiculous. The Enchiladas Verde with chicken was extremely tough and chewy. I ordered with all rice and the clay bowl it was served in had a huge chip on the rim. On a positive note, Camilla our waitress was terrific and very personable. I wish we could say the same about the food.

This spot is definitely a 10/10! Tucked away in Camarillo CA, this gem of a restaurant is an amazing find. Let's start with the decor.. the interior is a mixture of rustic and new, with a heavy Mexican influence. Great spot for a date, family outing or hanging out with friends. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable - with great suggestions. The food... the food is heavenly. Like mana from mount Olympus. From the carne asada to the birria tacos and everything in between... this is one of my new favorite stops! Do yourself a favor amigo, and stop by here and try some of these delicious dishes.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant and I'm glad I did. Appetizer, drinks, food, and dessert were all delicious. The Rosa Del cielo was nice and sweet, especially the espresso martini. I have never had an espresso martini made the way they make it here with a hint of banana flavor. I'm sure the other drinks are good as well. Bartender/server was nice, very accommodating to my requests. Going to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Been waiting a long time to try this spot because of all the hype and reviews from friends -- and we finally made it! As expected, the line was HUGE and it was extremely crowded. I highly recommend making a reservation. We had a party of 8 and booked for 7pm. They did let us know over the phone that the entire party had to be present to be seated, which we completely understood. Everyone arrived by 6:45, we checked in around 6:40, and ended up being seated at about 7:30pm. It was super busy, so it was understandable. Once seated, they greeted us and brought out chicharrones with Valentina -- which I loved. We love a cultural restaurant moment They offer a lot of traditional Mexican dishes and a detailed drink menu with plenty of options. I ordered a cucumber and lemon agua fresca and it was delicious -- not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we got the trio (chimichanga, tacos de tinga, and al pastor nachos) and that was a solid 10/10. So flavorful and definitely a great choice for the table. For my main dish, I ordered the molcajete. It was good, but not the best I've had. I think it needed a bit more seasoning and flavor. I'd rate it a 6/10 -- not bad, just not amazing. The only downside was our waitress. She didn't seem to be having the best day and came off a little irritated, especially with the size of our party and some of the questions we asked. It wasn't the most pleasant service experience, but we didn't let that ruin the night. Now let's talk ambiance -- 10/10. They had a live group singing old-school Mexican jams, which I absolutely loved because it brings back so many memories. The inside is beautiful with gorgeous murals all around. The vibe is definitely there. I would come back, maybe with a smaller group, and try different dishes to see if something else stands out more. Overall, I'd still recommend checking it out for yourself!

Food was amazing! The carnitas melt with asada fries upgrade is such a unique menu item. It didn't feel too heavy or fatty like it was cooked with a tub of grease. I appreciate that. Service was friendly and there were a couple of Birthday celebrations in the restaurant that night. The staff makes quite the deal with lights, sombrero and the whole shebang! Fun atmosphere The restaurant was very pretty and classy. Date night worthy for sure.

Love the decor with big murals, lots of color and flowers. Angel the bartender was friendly and made great margaritas. Shrimp were well cooked and tasty, but I did not care for the asada, as it was too chewy for me. Homemade tortillas were freshly prepared and yummy. This is a lively location for a birthday celebration.

Best mango and pineapple ceviche ever!!! So refreshing and spicy. Also, the drinks were so good. Our server Victor was phenomenal and will definitely come back.

Beautifully decorated. Music choice matched the vibe, not too loud but you can hear every word. Victor was our server and he was very attentive, we never felt like we had to look for him. We had a great experience, the cocktails were delicious. The food was good, a little on the spicier side but still enjoyable. Especially adding the amazing home made tortillas. Camarillo lacks good Mexican food, we will definitely add to our rotation. Thank you, Victor!

My cousins wanted to celebrate their birthday here. We arrived at 11, and even though they were supposed to be open, they didn't open until about 10 minutes after. Once inside, we were able to sit anywhere we wanted. Unfortunately, some of the tables were not clean, and we had to ask them to clean them before we sat down. Needless to say, it started off rocky. Once our waiter arrived, he made up for all the mishaps. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I couldn't decide on which drink to order, but with his help, I decided to try "Amor Eterno," but instead of vodka, I asked for tequila. I enjoyed my drink; it was delicious. My sister and I shared a molcagete, which was a pretty large amount of food to share. The molcagete comes with rice, beans, and handmade tortillas. The food was delicious, and everyone was saying how much they enjoyed eating here. The restaurant is so beautiful; I love their decor. I especially loved their artificial trees with red roses on them. It's also a very large restaurant that can accommodate large groups. Overall, we had a great experience here and would go back.

Such a cute place! So spacious. We came here for dinner. Each table had a little lamp and the lights were dimmed. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the flan. It had bits of almond and dehydrated cherries? It was the best. Our server was attentive and food arrived fast. Would definitely stop by again.

INCREDIBLE evening!!! The food was delicious and I can't wait to come back. After we sat down, we were surprised by the Thursday evening Mariachi band!!! They are so talented and made the evening so special.

Happy hour birria chimichanga and mango chamoy margarita.

Even though the food wasn't impressive this time, the customer service was! We sat on the lovely enclosed patio. Vanessa was our server. Her service was 5 star! She was friendly, checked in on us, and all around went above and beyond! The food was pretty good. I got the single portion chicken fajitas. The chicken was very tender. The dish as a whole was lacking flavor. Dare I say it could have even used salt. I was a bit disappointed, but very hungry. I ate half and took the rest home. My mom got the 2 item combo with a chili relleno and beef taco. She loves chili rellenos, but was not happy with hers. Her plate was covered in cheese, but the relleno had no sauce she said. The taco was just beef with a little cheese and a few strands of lettuce. Nothing like the pictures on Yelp. My dad got the taco burrito and he enjoyed his! We loved the chips, salsa, and bean dip! The young guy refilling chips/dip was on top of everything and very sweet! Although we weren't impressed this time with the taste of the food, I will definitely be back to try again!

I was one of Hectors biggest fans until today. Came in. I was literally the only person there. Ordered two tacos to eat there. The older incredibly RUDE lady began packing up my order and I said I was eating there. She angrily snapped at me. "Did you say so when you ordered". I said "Yes". Then things got even worse when I had the audacity to ask for ONE extra salsa. Just one. She immediately began talking CRAP about me (RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME) in Spanish. BIG mistake. While I might look like a gringa, I grew up in Mexico. I am Mexican. Spanish is my first language. How dare she start talking crap about me for politely asking for one extra salsa REALLY!!!! I understood every grunt of vile disgust coming from her. Hector, we have met. We've talked. We've laughed when I told you you needed to serve beer. You can see my previous review. HOW CAN YOU LET THIS HAPPEN???? I would tell absolutely everyone about your amazing tacos. NOT ANY MORE. I am so disgusted. She thought I was white and she could disrespect me because I wouldn't understand and you weren't there. Are you serious??? This is what you allow to represent your business. The staff have always been nice when I've come in. They are attentive, friendly and the food is whipped up quickly. Happy hour menu seems to bring in the crowds but I do think there are other places with a happy hour menu that gives you more bang for your buck than here. The food is average in many ways but very comforting. Probably I'd rate all of the different dishes I've tried between 3.5-4 stars depending what you get. I really love their albondigas soup and that's one of my favs. Never steers me wrong. Also their crunchy shell tacos aren't bad. I came for a beef taco with rice and beans and was pleasantly surprised. Same with the food. Two margs and two simple smaller main plates ran us $70 after tax and tip.
