Ok so this place opened up a little over 2 weeks ago and a pizza joint was sorely missed in Bay Terrace (RIP Jack's )..so finding out a new spot opened up, I was very eager to try it out. Big mistake. I'll say this, the interior is posh, clean & spacious with a lot of booths. HOWEVER, the staff & the food (OR LACK OF) was very very disappointing. The glass case where the pies sit was empty, they only had plain or Sicilian THAT'S IT. No pizzas with toppings or specialty pies on display. No rolls or pinwheels on display either. It was completely empty. My friend wanted 2 pepperoni slices and the half drunk guy (he kept drinking his cup behind the counter in front of everyone, purely unprofessional) behind the counter said 'I only have 1 plain'. Wow so we had to settle on Sicilian pieces. The pizza itself was all sauce and barely any cheese. Plus the crust was burnt to a crisp too. Not even worth the 5 bucks. In conclusion, it's a bad start for this place. The staff looked miserable and the patrons seemed unhappy with the lack of pizza too. Go to Krave It or Fresh Meadows Pizza instead. read more

Finally, a great pizzeria huge selection of different slices very clean restaurant great seatings! Bathroom is very clean. Countermen very helpful and nice fast as well. Reasonably price for the times we live in.The reason I'm giving it one star Less is because the only place I saw a menu with prices was outside the front door after I was leaving if there was prices on the inside I didn't see any there needs to be a menu board with prices and descriptions visible to customers. read more

I've now had their pizza on a few separate occasions. It's consistently a flavorless, salty, oily mess. I'm referring to their regular slices. I've never seen so much oil drip off a slice of pizza. There might as well be a dipstick in the slice. On a positive note, their upside down slices are very good; still on the oily side, but definitely flavorful. I also tried their chicken parmigiana hero. Definitely the best of all I have sampled thus far. Chicken was soft and easy to chew, with a nice amount of tasty sauce and cheese. The place is decorated very nicely. A very modern, brightly lit establishment. It's very odd that the kitchen closes so early and then all that's left till closing are reheated oily slices. They're still very new and I assume still ironing out the kinks. But I'm really puzzled about the quality of the regular slices, as so many people have raved about it from other locations. Hopefully it will improve in time, otherwise my regular slices will be purchased elsewhere. read more

Brand new pizza place in the Bay Terrace shopping center. The place looks spotless to me. Huge shopping center with plenty of parking. It seems like the people behind the counter are confused about who needs help. Last but not least, the food. I ordered a margherita, onion, upside down, and a beef patty. I'm not sure if the girl even heated up the food at all??? Being 5 minutes away, I take the food home, and it's ice cold. For Rosa's pizzeria, I was disappointed. Pizza is fine. Just fine. Nothing special and there is better out there. Their heroes and pasta dishes? Not good at all. Ordered a chicken parm hero. First time, like the pizza, it was fine. This time? Hardly any sauce. It was bland and dry. I barely ate it. And the couple of times we tried their pasta dishes, the sauce is also bland and the pasta is not cooked well at all. I love the new place after renovation. Very big, nicely decorated. I like the food also, with a variety of pizza toppings and Italian entrees typical of most pizza restaurants. But the service leaves a LOT to be desired! My first time I walked in during lunch, I was puzzled as to whether I was supposed to grab a table and wait for waitress service or just order on my own. When I questioned the Asian girl walking around, she told me she would be right with us and she gave me a menu, took our order, cleaned up and gave me the bill. No problem there, and of course I left a tip. The second time there for dinner, I sat down and waited, and waited. Finally I decided to order at the counter with my son. He got pizza, so he was served quickly. I ordered an entree, so I had to wait. After a while, the waitress, and older white lady, brought me bread, but she stopped a few feet from my table, so I had to reach for it. A pasta plate next; again, she made me reach for it. Then the entree, same thing. No utensils! A minute later she brought it and again I had to reach for it. Was she allergic to other humans? Why couldn't she put it on the table? When I was finished, I needed a takeout container. After five minutes of sitting there in a nearly empty restaurant, I finally got up and asked. This place needs to decide if there is waitress service or not. At the very least, when there is a need for the waitress, such as when bringing out the food, give it some effort and not show a complete lack of interest in serving a customer! read more

A family owned pizzeria business established since 1975 has taken over an old stalwart, Jack's Pizza. It's a reasonable transition, if not a sad one for previous restaurant. Their upside down pizza is their speciality, but of course other pizza toppings are on display for selections as well as the usual Italian stables. read more

I will start off with the food first. 1. The regular slice is OK at best and it is not the Rosa's pizza from Maspeth. The sauce isn't the same and the pizza is too thick and they use imitation cheese (people who had Rosa's pizza from Maspeth please leave reviews and tell everyone that this is not Rosa's). 2. Pizza was okay, would recommend getting the Regular slice over Margarita. The sauce on the margarita tastes really basic, nothing special. I ordered delivery via Door Dash. The pizza was one of the worst that I've had. First, they did not use a pizza box spacer so the lid touched the pizza. That caused the cheese and peperoni to stick to the lid. The toppings also pooled to part of the pizza since the box was not kept flat which would be the fault of the Door Dasher. The dough was just barely cooked, it was almost raw and was barely edible. This comes after dealing with major attitude from employees when getting slices in person. The Caesar Salad pizza was really good, as were the garlic "knots", which were good, but they were like little buns, not knots... but no sauce was given to go with them. What an awful experience I just had there. I ordered a beef patty with cheese and said I wanted it hot. I get it and it's ice cold. I told this counter guy with long hair that I was t happy with it and he does nothing - doesn't offer me another one, doesn't compensate me, zippo Never again. Awful food, unfriendly staff. This young guy that botched my order kept calling me chief and boss. Whatever happened to just sir. And in the way Out, he just says "have a nice day" The right thing to do would have been to offer me a new piece of food. Plenty of places who know what they are doing will make that offer to a customer because they know that's how you keep business. These people just don't care. Newish pizzeria at Bay Terrace. I think it's a welcome addition to the shopping area and the interior is nicely renovated; much bigger than the previous pizza place that was here for decades. I was already acquainted with the Rosa's location in Great Neck and a fan of their eggplant pizza. Got the same great slice here and also enjoy the grandma's slice. The sauce here is a little sweet and you can taste the crushed tomatoes which taste very fresh. I also really like their crust. On my last visit on a Saturday around 6pm, there was definitely a constant rush of diners, take-out and pick up orders. I think their customer service attitude could be improved as they seem to only be interested in moving the line and not really offering helpful attention. Also, it seems possible to be seated and get someone to take your order. The service is inconsistent so if you are starving just go to the counter to put in your order and pay attention otherwise you won't get your food. read more

Walked in on a whim with my daughter. So many choices, everything looked yummy. We got a salad slice and a fresh mozzarella slice both excellent. Excellent Food & Experience. Waitress Dana was quick, attentive and an absolute pleasure. On different occasions I've tried & enjoyed all their rolls, Paninis and most of the Pizza offered. Had three different dinners (Chicken Marsala, Francese & Parmigiana) Excellent and an Awesome value, each under $16. Excellent fountain soda. Correct CO2 ratio Greasy pizza? The upside down pizza is excellent and I will definitely be going back for it. I really liked the decor and seating area in this pizzeria. They lost a few stars because the line was completely unorganized and the staff could not manage the orders and the mixed up orders. They definitely have to get their stuff together. Also, if they are known for their pizzas, they should have plenty of it and I was told I would have to wait 15 minutes for two slices of upside down pizza on a Friday night. This place used to be my go-to place but I don't know what happened. We ordered Margherita pizza, and it was sooooo salty, and their crust was disgustingly bland and tastes cheap. We end up throw alout almost the whole pie. It was not like this when they first opened till March. If you are reading this owner, please go back to where you used to be. While the food was good, I would never come here again. I read the reviews before I came here and somehow thought I might have a different experience. The older man with glasses behind the counter is incredibly rude and miserable and has no tact to deal with customers at all. Even people on line were talking about it while we all stood there waiting to order when he wouldn't even acknowledge us. One of the pizza makers had to tell him people are waiting to order. Answered me back nasty several times when I asked what one pizza had in it. People were shocked how he spoke to and treated people, but I think they were more in awe how no other staff did anything about it. Like it was just normal and acceptable. Food is good but they are petty. They charge $.50 for a cup of sauce for their rolls. Their prices are higher than Jacks was, and restaurants don't charge extra for condiments so why charge for this. Sauce goes with the roll and with paying $9 a roll one cup should be included and then if you want extra they can charge. read more

Two terrible experiences ordering pick up. First time they forgot several items and I had to drive back. People make mistakes so I didn't think too much of it. But the Second time was the rudest experience. I ordered pizzas for pick up 6 hours in advance. When I went to pick up they "were looking for it" then they were "packing my order up" then "they had no idea what it was" after 40 minutes going in and out waiting my husband gave up and came home. TWO HOURS LATER some one called me with an attitude to tell me "your pizzas been ready when are you going to come get it" after I explained that we waited 40 minutes and no one could find it he had the audacity to say "so you don't want it?
