Cheesesteak Bomber
Spencer S.

After learning about the vitality of this menu option in mid-2024, we told ourselves we'd come check it out the next time we were driving through Lancaster. We were traveling back through the area in mid-2025 and made it happen! The restaurant isn't terribly remarkable, though they do have some nice murals painted on the walls inside. It's counter service with some prepared pizzas that can be ordered by the slice. Otherwise you place orders and seat yourselves. Feels like a little bit of a dive, and I think I'd probably take a pizza to go next time, but for our purposes, eating in was the better option. The bomber comes in different configurations, but we got the "Lancaster" which comes with cheesesteak and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pie was ready in about ten minutes and was made to order so it came out piping hot. It was very easy to share and we had leftovers for dinner later that evening. Portions were generous, the marinara dipping sauce was great, and cheesesteak was thinly shaved and plentiful. I'd definitely get it again, but take it to go.

First experience here got a free Stromboli because of a miscommunication on the order. 52 minute drive worth every minute.

The food is excellent and I hope to try some dinner dishes we definitely will be back. It was really an awesome experience. Great customer service. And these days and times that sometimes hard to find. Fire.

Saw this place on an Instagram post and immediately knew I had to try the cheesesteak bomber. Half pizza, half cheesesteak Stromboli! And it lived up to the hype. Pizza was great, Stromboli was great, also got a regular cheesesteak for someone in our party and that was great as well. Great ambiance, would definitely recommend trying it!

Atmosphere: clean and staff waited on us quickly. After having their Ziti I wish the inside was a little updated. Just a normal pizza looking place, but the foods so good they could upgrade. Food: our food came out promptly which is good cause we were hungry. I got the #3 wood fired pizza which was very good. A little balsamic would have been nice on it or pieces of garlic; just to pep it up more. The pizza crust was soo good! The next day it even tasted better. My husband got the Ziti...fantastic!!!! Ok, so I end up eating half his dinner. I would skip getting caprese, but I was warned before I got it but didn't think anything about it. They do have beer here too. Also, Fountain & bottled sodas too. Staff were so kind and warned us about the wet floor since they were cleaning up. Staff came out and chatted with us and cleaned up at the table, so sweet. I would come again!

Very intriguing menu! I will definitely be back to try other things. Parking is tight and limited. There is a drive thru window for pickups. There is a cute little Italian shop of foods from Italy. We got the pizza and Stromboli combination and it was good, but would order regular pizza and Stromboli separately next time just because the pizza slices were so weird. The spaghetti pizza was amazing. Very hopping place, probably because being so close to the college campus.

Cheesesteak bomber was amaaaazing!!! We took it to-go and couldn't eat it for about 20-20 minutes and the stromboli part got a little soggy from the cheesesteak fillings but it was still delish. A quick refresh in the air fryer did the trick for the leftovers.

Really great family owned Italian food restaurant. This place burned down from the wood fired over at one point, but the family rise like a phoenix from the ashes to rebuild their legacy. The pizza is awesome! We had wood fired thin crust, but they have thick crust as well as many other Italian family recipe favorites! The spaghetti pizza's a crowd favorite that is a carb load, but special to Rosa a Rosa. We also had the Gelato that is imported directly from Italy. It's amazing, and I had the tiramisu. We also had a fresh filled cannoli. So many people with smiling faces I'm here, and this is both the family staff and all the customers. It's also now a BYOB place. You must try it, you'll like it!

So I was so hyped on getting the bomber today man was I disappointed. I seen a video on lancaster online today and I was like wow I really want to try this looks good packed with meat and the pizza side look good as well. Sadly when I got it home. There was hardly any meat in the steak side. I guess all that was for the cameras. It's OK but, felt like it could have been better. Mine was smaller than what you seen on the video.

Best pizza in Lancaster! Real, authentic. This place is a gem. Spaghetti pizza is my favorite which is what they're famous for.

The coffee here is on point. I often would see boutique grocery stores in DC selling their beans. I…read moredecided to stop by on my latest trip to Lancaster. The line can get long but it moves quicky. They offer a pretty basic menu of food options and standard coffee shop offerings. I picked up a bag of their keystone blend. It was fantastic. The bag didn't really open well. But I ended up just putting it into a plastic baggie. I did love that they offered me a free drip coffee with the purchase of the coffee beans. The bags are pricey at $20 a bag. But it truly is a good brew.

I recently decided to turn in my CDL and head back into the office, which allows me more time to get my workouts in and perfect my look. Normally, when I pick up something new, I do a lot of research; I dive all in. I'm glad I "dived into" coffee. When you're a truck driver, you usually hit truck stops where the coffee isn't great. However, being diverse and cultured, I started trying coffee in Latin communities. I noticed they used special machines, which sparked my interest. I eventually started visiting specialty coffee shops. Most of the places I get food from don't open until 10:00 AM, but coffee shops are open much earlier. That's how I found Passenger Coffee here in Lancaster. I knew it was going to be a great spot the moment I walked in; it was clean, inviting, and smelled amazing. A friendly employee greeted me with a smile, and their pastry display looked great. I told her I was new to coffee--only about two months in--but that I was enjoying trying different kinds. I explained how I normally take my coffee and mentioned that the last time I had one, it had foam on top. She gave me a small coffee to try, as well as one with foam (a latte or cappuccino). I think that's all I want to drink from now on! I used to make fun of people who said, "Don't talk to me until I've had my first cup," but now I finally understand why. I highly recommend this place for the excellent customer service and the cleanliness of the location. The pricing is affordable, too. I hope my review helps!

Kenzie was an exceptional waitress--attentive, welcoming, and genuinely encouraging in a way that made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is enchanting. Our server was friendly and efficient, and the pace of the service flowed well throughout our meal. The restaurant is clean and cozy and the seating area can accommodate different sizes of dining groups. I ordered the Elvis Crepe from the Sweet Crepes section of the menu and a side of Hash Browns with Southwest sauce. They were both delicious and filling, and it was a good combination of sweet and savory. My partner got a Savory Crepe, which he also enjoyed. The only disappointing part of our meal was the iced lattes. We both ordered different flavors - one Nutella latte and one with strawberry syrup. We couldn't taste any of the flavoring in them at all. Had our server not told us which was which, we would never have been able to tell. They just tasted like plain lattes with no added flavor. Especially disappointing considering you pay extra for the flavored syrups. Overall, a great choice for delicious food and friendly service, but maybe grab your latte later from one of the other many coffee shops in the area.
