Here are what they missed: 1. Some drawers in the kitchen were not touched at all. 2. Railings of couple windows were not cleaned. 3. Corners of hardwood floor were not mopped. I found big chunk of dirt at almost every corner. 4. Stair railings seemed to be dusted only. They were not wiped. 5. Hidden area of toilet bowls were overlooked. The list goes on like this. I really wish I stayed at the premise while they are cleaning so that I could keep an eye on everything. Lesson learned.

I started by contacting multiple cleaning services via Yelp (messaged each one) and Golden Shine was by far the friendliest and most informative. They seemed like they actually wanted my business. So we proceeded with booking a day for them to come. The booking process was simple and they recommend making a list of things you want to be handled first, to make sure they get your required places cleaned in case they run out of time. I was also told the cleaners were required to go through a background check, which was comforting. We ended up booking a specific amount of time and set a cut of time so that if the cleaners weren't finished by that time, they would leave and we wouldn't continue to get charged. Well it just so happened that the day our cleaners were scheduled to come, I went into labor. The LAST thing on my mind was the cleaning service, but they were on top of things and called my phone to let us know about what time they would arrive. My husband was able to answer and explained to them what was going on. We still wanted them to come even though the thought of strangers in our place without one of us there was nerve racking. They were so accommodating and were willing to go to the front office of our complex to get a key (that we requested for them). They let themselves in our place to clean, and cleaned away. We got home two days after the cleaning, but it still smelled freshly cleaned and looked great! My only negative comment is that they put two of our cast iron pans in the dishwasher - huge no no! I ended up having to re-season both pans. But I can't blame them, the two pans were sitting out (I had forgotten to put them away before going into labor and didn't remember to tell them not to worry about the pans), so they were just doing their jobs. I would only hope this review will help and the cleaners are explained the cast iron pots should never, ever be put in a dishwasher much less cleaned with soap! My 3/5 star review comes because of attention to detail, and expectation. Upon arriving in my home after the cleaning, I took a look around. They did some very nice work on my baseboards and my place smelled fresh and appeared clean. My gripe is with the cost being $210 and labeled a "deep clean" there were clearly some missed opportunities. My fans still had dust on the blades, something I assume a deep clean takes care of. I had noticeable debris still on my wood floors, meaning it was likely vacuumed and not swept. The dusting that was done was pretty good, but I had chunks of dust in corners and that isn't what you expect from a 5 star, $210 2.5 hour cleaning. If I'm going to pay two people upwards of $50 an hour for two hours of work, my expectations are pretty high. That's twice my own hourly wage. Again, the individuals were very kind, perhaps they were in a rush and I would not like them to be penalized. Perhaps it's an opportunity to work on the details and the fine print of what a deep clean is and adjust the pricing accordingly. It also appears KleanKasa is a manager of third party cleaning groups. That is something I'm not a fan of either because I'm not sure who's responsible for the disconnect and the lack of met expectations. I likely won't book through them again as I've had some much better experiences with significantly cheaper prices.

Unfinished Job -- this is one to avoid!…read more We hired KleanKasa for a full move-out cleaning and were promised 3 cleaners for 4 hours (i.e. 12 total hours of cleaning). KleanKasa outsourced the project (without telling us) and paid a single cleaner who cleaned for 2.5 hours. The house was still filthy and when we complained they sent another outsourced "team" out (consisting of what was going to be another single individual, but was upped to two after voicing our displeasure). We never did get a full 12 hours of cleaning, but even worse was the condition of the house AFTER a "whole house cleaning". We spent at least 8 additional hours cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms as many areas were left unfinished. I've included some "after" pictures of things that were left filthy. As landlords, we have had experience with multiple cleaning agencies and this was by far our worst experience. There was a vast gulf between what was promised vs. what we got. I wished they had told us up front they were outsourcing all the work, but even worse is to promise your customer one thing and instruct your "team" (of one) to do another.
