I recently had lunch at Rosalita's Tex-Mex Grill and had an overall positive experience. The portions were generous, and the service was attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. We ordered quesadillas, and while they were tasty, I felt they could have used a bit more flavor to really make them stand out. One of the great features is that this restaurant had a very authentic ambience. However, the chips and salsa were excellent--crispy, fresh, and full of flavor, a true highlight of the meal. Despite the minor critique, I'd definitely go back. Rosalita's is a great spot for Tex-Mex, and with just a bit more attention to seasoning, it could be outstanding. If you're in the mood for hearty portions and good service, it's worth a visit. read more

Anyone looking for some good Tex-Mex?! Look no further, Rosalita's in Lake Worth is coming in hot with the Plant-Based options!! I had a work meeting today and suggested we check out Rosalita's since it's right across the street from our office and I've heard so many good things about it. I went to Yelp last night to make sure there would be options for me (which Mexican restaurants are usually able to accommodate) and couldn't really see anything so I posted a question but didn't get a response. I ended up being the first person in my party to arrive and they had a big sign at the hostess stand mentioning their new items. The waitress was great and told me that it's actually because of her being vegan (50 years!) that they now offer pea-protein based substitutes and basically anything can be Veganized! I confirmed with her that the beans weren't made with lard or any other dairy and that the rice wasn't cooked with chicken broth. She said the refried beans were safe but the rice was not so she was able to sub that out for me. The food was delicious and the prices aren't that bad. This week has been unbelievable! We survived a Cat 4 hurricane with minor damage. But the stress of preparing, going through it and now recovering from the turmoil is overwhelming and exhausting. So we decided to go to Lake Worth with our RV and at least we would have electric, precious water, tv and internet. As soon as we got to the campground David suggested that we go eat and relax. So we decided to go to Rosalita's Mexican Restaurant. This is second time we have been there. The colorful outside and patio attracted and welcomed us! We sat outside amidst a big tree that goes right through the roof with colorful lights. Dave had a Modello, and a black coffee for me. Gina was the sweetest server one could ever ask for! First came chips and salsa. Then a tasty Chicken Tortilla Soup with a beautiful Corn Muffin with whole niblets and other seasonings like cilantro in it. I had the Gluten Free Poblano stuffed with chicken and mushrooms. It was actually on top of the roasted pepper in a very cheesy sauce, accompanied by black beans and broccoli lol! Dave had the Tex Mex Enchiladas and they cheesy but average. Served with refried beans and white rice and a corn muffin. We love supporting our local businesses wherever we go! read more

A little piece of Mexico, right next to Palm Beach County Park Airport. Rosalita's is our local Tex-mex grill, love coming here for some local music and sitting next to the beautiful live aquarium that is full of different fish. Both times we dined here, live bands were performing. The service on both our visits was fabulous! Our server Jane was so welcoming, tentative, and made great recommendations. My sons order was typed up correctly, but the kitchen didn't make it correctly. Jane recognized this slip up, and sent it back to the kitchen before serving it to us - top notch server! Jane also went the extra mile with making my son a root beer float (not on the menu) per his request. 3 stars because the food is meh. Nothing exciting , also living in Texas in the past, TexMex can be a lot more special like having deep fried a avocados. read more

The best part of my meal was the fried icecream. Amazing! Brings me back to the days of chichis! This place was just average and there is nothing wrong with that. We had a sweet server, but she knew nothing about the menu. I asked her the difference between enchilada and ranchero sauce and she really had no idea. I asked her what kind of cheeese was in the Tex-mex enchiladas and again didn't know. She also wasn't about to find out the answers. We got the happy hour margaritas. $4.99. Not worth $4.99. I am pretty sure there was a half a shot of tequila in it, if any. The Mexican rise is meh. My Tex-mex enchiladas were pretty good. Cheese enchiladas smothered in a chili sauce. Pretty good to be honest. I'd have them again! Their menu had quite a few options; combination plates, burros, chimichangas, flautas, fajitas, etc. I am sure anyone can find something they like. I would love to give a great review... however, I have been here numerous times as I come to see the band and enjoy the food. I have to say the bartender Michelle, now I've had her quite a few times.... So this isn't based on ONE time visit. SHE is horrible, has an attitude and makes it not a good vibe to come here. If you need a new drink you basically have to hunt her down as she will not make eye contact with you to help in serving you. Also, when ordering food it seems like she caters to certain people more than others because I ordered the same as someone else and mine came out completely different. Again ..... Doesn't look like much as soon as you walk in. The decor screams of "kitchen nightmare" type of vibes. There is no central theme, more like things that probably identify as Mexican culture. The drinks are a 50/50 and by that I mean some of them taste of 0% alcohol. While others are overwhelmed with club soda.. Had to request a substitution. Do not get the Fiesta Platter. It was nothing but a mess of "small pieces of the appeziter menu thrown on a hot plate and microwaved to death. Nothing but cheap tasting cheese melted over the plate. Which is concerning because the quesadilla "pieces" lacked a complete layer of cheese. More like cheese pockets in certain places in the tortillas. The only positive thing would be the waitress gabby whom served as comical relief as everytime she came to our table. She would ask a question and speed walk away before I could ask or make a comment on anything. The French fries were unfortunately the only thing that deemed valuable and unfortunately that's frozen. Go for the drinks but the food is meh... The only time people think the food is better than meh is Cinco de Mayo. You get 5 seconds to figure out why. First time I attended this place was under the suggestion of a local that said they use to love to come through on Friday nights. They no longer were living in the area but were happy that the place was still around. We go in, order drinks, add guac to the complimentary chips, a few tacos, and the Sea of Cortez (broiled dolphin). The atmosphere was living and packed. Service was a little slow but still very friendly. The fish tacos were dry. Actually all the fish was dry. While I thought everything else was ok, friend thought that is was on par with Taco Bell. We both loved the guac and drinks. Those margaritas were good and large and the servers kept the glasses full. So head back there recently for a get together with coworkers celebrating many great things and each other's company. We take up several tables. They gather us all in one side but only give us one server. The one server quickly gets us drinks (two for 1 margaritas in full effect) and chips. Guac appears seconds before appetizers and way after chips are done. Most people order tacos and it's just ok. I again order the Sea of Cortez. I feel like the portion size has gotten bigger but the taste has gotten worse. Fish again was dry and so was the crab. Rice was tough like I received the last bit of an old batch. Drinks improved as soon as I switch to an original on the rocks. The frozen Strawberry margarita tasted more artificial with no tequila. If not here during happy hour - get the 24 Karat, Top Shelf, or Italian margarita and avoid the flavors. Unfortunately they didn't carry Milagro! Go for the drinks but the food is meh... read more

We came here for the first time tonight to hear the band and have dinner. The service was excellent, our waitress named Gina was very friendly and attentive, made great recommendations. We did not feel rushed and the food was good. If you are expecting a gourmet meal this is not the place to come. It is a great neighborhood & laid back restaurant. Gina was our waitress and quite frankly I haven't seen a server this good since I have been in South Florida Aug 2017. She was so attentive and the recommendations were spot on. Now let's talk about the food we had salmon gluten free Fajitas & steak fajitas and they were amazing the chicken fajitas not so much they were dry but everything else was perfect more than made up for the chicken. Ordered to-go. Showed up and the price is double what's online. Was told the website is not correct and the new owner had not been able to fix it. Would have been nice to know the price on the phone if the prices online were wrong. Showed up and was charged 40 for an enchilada and burrito combo plater for my boyfriend that any Mexican would be upset with. The burrito was cooked with the enchilada, making it look like 2 enchiladas covered with cheese. The refried beans are dry and flavorless. I had a fajitas which should be hard to get wrong but my onions and bell peppers were RAW. And when asked how I liked my stake I told medium rare and got well done. Very small portions of guacamole, sour cream, and salsa and nearly enough meat for 3 fajitas(which is exactly how many tortillas you get). Only thing making me give more stars is the manager was super nice. He has definitely been dealing with a lack of quality and deserves to work at a better place. read more

I have pass by this restaurant for over five years and never stopped until one of my friends at my job insisted that we go because she knew I loved authentic Mexican food. I must say I was highly impressed with the authentication of the food, the quality, bursts of flavor and large portions served. Not to mention the staff we were greeted and seated immediately doing lunch hours, the waitress was absolutely amazing: forgive me because I do not recall her name but she was amazing in every way!! I ordered the chicken fajita which comes with rice and beans, salsa, peppers and guacamole. I also ordered the freshly baked and full of cinnamon churro oh Em Gee it was like the real thing!!! First, I'm a little biased. One of my go-to favs for Mexican restaurants is a fajita burrito. I came here after moving & I was hot, sweaty, & hungry. Food was good. Tons of people during lunch. Parking was adequate in the back lot. We are at the bar & service was good despite being packed. I know our friends prefer the competition, but Rosalitas staus traditional Mexican style food without adding a bunch of other style food like the competition. I prefer Rosalitas. read more

Rosalita's has been around for years. It's a colorful restaurant with good Tex-Mex food and reasonable prices. When you're seated, they bring you a large amount of tortilla chips and 2 kinds of salsa. The service is good too. I recommend dining here. read more

It started with a bug in a margarita and went downhill from there. Soft tacos were served as hard, the enchiladas looked "extra sloppy" and the manager argued with us that (while he is new) it's always been like that and thought we just didn't want our food touching. Started with a couple of 24 carrot margaritas, which were great! Wife had the black bean soup while I went with the tortilla soup (loaded with so much chicken they should have called it stew). Hit or miss...some things are quite good but others leave much to be desired. Most dishes are overpriced. The floors are sticky and tables were dirty. The hostess Donna seemed to be quite rude when she sat me. I asked her if I could sit in another part of the restaurant and she sigh'd loudly and then proceeded to sit me. I waited 10 mins before a server came to get a drink order and give me some chips and salsa. The pork quesadilla was quite tasty but the frozen margarita glass had chips in it and tasted god awful. Also enjoyed the fried ice cream but the bill I got at the end would of led you to believe I had a meal at fine dining establishment and this was nothing close to that. read more

I was craving Mexican food and also desperately needed an outing. My friend mentioned Mexican food a few days prior and I couldn't relinquish the thought of Rosalita's thereafter. Additionally, I remembered seeing a patio addition the last time I visited. Needless to say, I made a plan to meet the same friend with the stellar idea for a safe Sunday lunch. We were one of two parties on the patio so social distancing was applicable. Luckily, there was a breeze because the outdoor fans were inoperable. I recommend these be fixed stat as working fans on a patio is conducive to dining outside in this summer heat. Our server wore his mask and we had ours. We enjoyed two rounds of frozen strawberry margaritas; albeit, we added floaters to the second round because we couldn't taste the alcohol. That was the ticket! My heart was set on endless tortilla chips and margaritas and I earned it in cardio beforehand. I also ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and my friend ordered enchiladas. We both enjoyed our meals and she took leftovers home. All in all, we had a pleasant experience complete with good food, great company and tasty margaritas. I've been here a handful of times and it always does the job with good food and service. The Mexican grill is bright and colorful with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. When we met a group here yesterday for Cinco de Mayo, it was best we got there around 4 before the prime hour of the celebration. As we were leaving, it was packed. We were seated together and waited on rather quickly. The crowd didn't rush the waiters and our food and drinks came out promptly as well. The margaritas are delicious and it does the trick about a few sips in. I'm not sure how much tequila is in each one of those lovely cocktails, but I was feeling mighty fine from it. We got the guacamole appetizer to share and the chicken enchiladas I had was good. The enchiladas was loaded with a lot of cheese on top. It came with rice and refried beans for the sides. Even though it wasn't presented well, I ate it even though I felt I was eating a glob from all over the plate. The restaurant is family friendly, so the kids would love it if you want to bring them. We didn't bring ours since we were on a date night and we'll save the fun for them next time. The staff were constantly going around and cleaning up tables while the vibe was lively. As a longtime customer for rosalitas I was really disappointed with my last visit. On 1/3/22 We got seated outside at 6:57pm and never once was helped by a server. We waited 30 minutes until we notified the hostess that we will be leaving. Just blatant ignorance as 2 servers were hovering around serving other tables in the area. Not once did they come by and ask to take an order. We've been coming here since I was a kid. My family 25 years, never once have we been seated and not been given the chance to place an order. If it was possible to leave 0 stars for this visit, I would've. also sad to see Rosalitas doesn't respond to their reviews. Posted on Google and they didn't flinch. I've been to Rosalita's once before but its been a long time so I wanted to try it again. I came for lunch on Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. We wanted to sit outside but the hostess made a face as though it was a problem. So, we decided to sit inside. When we sat then gave us chips and salsa but took about 15 minutes to meet our server and order a drink. The salsa was really good actually; very fresh! I ordered the seafood quesadillas. They were okay, nothing to write home about. It was more cheese then seafood. The 1800 margarita was tasty but lots of ice and little tequila. I don't think I'd run back here anytime soon as it was pricy and not worth the money, in my opinion. read more

I visited this restaurant about a year ago and decided I wouldn't come back because of how horrible the bar service was but although at the time the food was good. Decided to come back and give it another try, even stated in the car on the way there that I hoped the same bartender wouldn't be there as we enjoy sitting at the bar well what do you know she is! How I am not sure! I ordered a margarita and it was basically left overs from whatever she had previously made the people near us because it tasted of watermelon and water, my girlfriend ordered a simple miler lite. She drank it and 10 minutes later after walking by us multiple times asked if she wanted another one and she said yes the bartender walked from behind the bar and went to the bathroom without getting her a beer. Upon her arrival back more guest had sat at the bar and she continued waiting for a beer, and then served an employee who had gotten off work. We finally got the beer. She asked us if we wanted to order dinner which we politely declined and asked for the check. She is so rude and has ZERO personality.
