    Chicken Enchiladas with Rancherito Sauce

Food was tasty and plentiful, service was kind and friendly but took some time to reach us. The mood was good, although the serving size was quite large almost too much on the burrito. And the chicken enchilada was amazing.

Food needs lots of improvement. And this is being said from someone who is from Mexico! The flavor in the food is just not authentic or good quality. The atmosphere is great; very decorative and cool looking bar. But man the food is disappointing :( I'm pretty sure they use canned enchilada sauce... and if it's not canned sauce... that is quite concerning

Rosalita's Cantina is housed in a beautiful Revival-style warehouse built in 1899 in the Washington Avenue Garment District. I have visited many times--with family, friends, and on my own. The portions are generous, and I always leave feeling satisfied. If you are dining with others, you may want to consider sharing. Before the meal, the server offers a large bowl of complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. If you are dining alone or as a couple, you can request a smaller portion--such as one-third or one-half of the bowl--to avoid waste. Additionally, if your entrée includes hard corn tortillas, you may prefer to skip the chips. Orders can be customized to suit your preferences.

Sunshine was our server and she was amazing! Friendly and patient with a full section including a large group. It was just two of us. The place is very kitschy. Big gaudy decorations that are dusty. This is a chain and the food was basic. The fresh chips were delicious and that is about it. I wouldn't say the food was bad, just very basic and not worthy of the calories. Their famous Black Cherry Marg was underwhelming too. It's big and I believe you taste the alcohol because you sipping from a straw. More like a fermented wine. No reason to return

Just how I like it! We had a team event and decided to come here for lunch. I was worried because we had a party of 7, came during the lunch rush and found out they didn't take reservations. My worries were put to ease when they were able to promptly seat us with no issues. I believe Tai was our server and she was excellent! She was efficient with the timing of our refills, paid attention to details and honored our requests, and was very pleasant! I was also impressed with how quickly our food came out, considering our party size and that we came during the lunch rush. When it comes to Mexican restaurants, I usually have a few go-to dishes. I don't have a favorite dish from Rosalita's just yet, but this one is def. up there. The rice was more flavorful than I could have imagined and I loved the heaping scoop of guacamole. Let me say, you can never have too much guac! As for margs, I went with something different and got the sparkling margarita. I wasn't sure how well sparkling wine and a margarita would pair, but they made it work! It had a good burst of flavor. Overall, the service and food were outstanding and I can't wait to come back.

More like a 3.5! Here's a breakdown of what we enjoyed and what could have been better on our recent visit: EXCELLENT: - Service from the bartender as we sat at the bar was friendly and upbeat! - The massive margarita reaaaaally hit the spot - cold and refreshing. - The nachos were absolutely massive! - It's a cute place with a gorgeous outdoor patio and easy parking behind. COULD IMPROVE: - It felt like 80+ degrees inside when we arrived. We were really sweating by the time we left! - Even at 8:30pm when we arrived, there was a 30+ minute wait for a table even though half the place was empty. We figured it was due to staffing limitations, but seemed like a long wait for end of the night. We opted for bar service. - The bartender was super busy, so it took a while to get our order in and receive our items. - They weren't allowing outdoor seating when we arrived.

The food took a little longer than expected because they were super busy. However the food is always very good and never disappoints. The ambiance was a little roudy because it was national margarita day so super busy. It was a night on the town with my visions to celebrate the day and just enjoy some authentic Mexican food. Rosalita's is always a great choice the staff is always very polite and attentive

Horrible food. Everything was drenched in grease. I'd rather eat Taco Bell and I never eat Taco Bell.

We stuck to fish tacos since it was a Friday during lent, but they did not disappoint. The margaritas & mad dog were very good as well and I would highly recommend! I prefer the quesadillas with some of the more unique flavors, especially since the price point is very reasonable and you get a fair portion of food. Service: very good. They have QR codes at each table that you can order and pay straight from your phone, which is very convenient and the food always comes out pretty quickly. The staff here is always so nice. Ambience: the majority of the eating area is outdoors in a heated tent. It's a nice vibe and lets you feel like you're sitting outside without actually having to be outside. Parking isn't too bad here, there's a small parking lot right behind the restaurant and then there is typically ample street parking. It can get quite busy at peak times, but they have a great pick up option as well.

Walking up to the entry gives you vacation vibes from The decor, tropical plants and modern aesthetics. Service was 10/10. All the staff we encountered were so friendly. They came by to check on us, and even the owner/manager came out to check in and make sure everything was good. The tacos were absolutely delicious, seasoned well and every ingredient was FRESH. I ordered the Galveston, and the Baja, and my mom ordered the del Rio and the Biloxi, and we shared a trifecta appetiser.. The queso and guacamole and salsa were some of the best ones I've had. The portions are plentiful. Definitely give them a try. They add something new to the menu every so often, and They offer brunch as well.

This location was very close to where we were. It was the perfect time to try it! Ambiance: I really love the esthetics of the restaurant. The floral arrangements in the front is very inviting and added a great touch. I also loved the covered outdoor seating areas available, along with the indoor option. We surprisingly opted to sit outside, because heat is not my friend. The industrial fan definitely helped! I felt like I was sitting on one of friend's veranda in the carribean Food: I really enjoyed the food. Tacos are a la carte. For appetizer we opted for the Trifecta which came with guac, queso, and rojo salsa. Let me just say, their happy hour deals are a great steal! Order: There are a couple different ways to order & pay. Use the traditional way of having the server take our order by raising the card "Lets Taco Buddha it," or by scanning the QR code and placing order yourself & pay online. At first, I started the online order because I felt like this would allow me more time to read the menu and order on my own terms. I ended up raising my card and having someone take my order despite having it all in my cart. Tacos are served "family style" comes out on the same platter. We opted for the Baja ( battered pallock) & The Jodhpur (marinated grilled chicken). The kiddos opted for the quesadillas and fried chicken taco. Everything was flavorful (with the exception of their hot/mild sauces, those were flavorless, however not necessary to add). Not going to lie, I made a joke to my mom about the food being served on a surgical tray or "doggy platter." LOL lol. Service: They use a team model. I saw multiple staff going throughout the restaurant checking on needs & refilling water pitchers. Everyone was really nice, they had small toys for children to play with at the table and it's always a plus when they strike up a conversation with my kiddos. Parking: We arrived shortly after 4pm and there were lots of spots available. By the time we were leaving, there were two cars waiting for spots. It is also located alongside a busy street, the restaurant did get packed for dinner on a weekday. Pricing: Prices does add up very pretty quickly, however 1 Taco can be very filling especially if you opted for appetizers. The only thing I would have changed is not to order my meal the same time as my appetizer. It came out almost together. I would have liked to enjoyed the appetizers prior to my entrée.

Our food arrived in a little over 10 minutes, which was a reasonable wait time. The portion sizes appeared smaller than I remembered from previous visits. I'm not sure if this is typical of the lunch portions or if the restaurant has reduced serving sizes since our last visit, but I was expecting a bit more food for the price. That said, the food itself tasted very good. The fajitas were flavorful and arrived hot and fresh.
