Great service and phenomenal tacos. I am recently gluten-free and I love that everything on the menu can be gluten-free! The corn tortillas are so good and the pork carnitas were flavorful and juicy.

The food is delicious. I would definitely eat her again. Service was good and very friendly. We chose to sit in the covered patio and did get a little wet from the rain dripping off the roof onto the railing. Next time I would pay more attention to the weather.

First time at Taco Buddha. Was raining really hard but it was Father's Day and my daughter wanted to take me to lunch. Landed on Taco Buddha as I was feeling tacos! Sat outside on the edge of the patio and unfortunately was a little in the rain as the roof has a bit of a gap in it. Server was friendly and helpful, but we ordered from the app as it allowed us to easily modify the tacos. Tacos came out pretty quickly and everything looked great. But they did not bring the sauces that were put on the side and the really bog problem, nothing was hot. Every taco was just lukewarm. I would definitely give them another chance as the flavors were great, bit hopefully not raining next time and hopefully the tacos might be hot next time.

My family dined here after a nice visit to the Botanical Gardens- it's close by and a great choice! Good luck finding parking - the lot is mostly carry out and you might be lucky to get street parking in this residential location! The service is great. We ordered our food and in less than 10 minutes appetizers arrived followed by our entrees. The chips and queso were addictingly delicious I loved my meaty brisket taco and shrimp taco. They were very tasty. They also have a nice kids menu. Go give them a try for your next Taco Tuesday night dinner.

I went here tonight with a couple of pals. It's set up really nice. Great patios. The one we sat on had fans and was a great people-watching place. Amiya helped us out. They have red cards at the table so if you have a question or want to order you just put that red card up and someone will come by to help you. It's a pretty great system. We arrived before HH ended so we're had the Trifecta chips with salsa (smokey but too spicy for me ...if you know me you know I'm a wuss), queso and guacamole. The queso was very good but the guacamole was perfect. Not blended to death, it has some chunks of avocado. It was fantastic. Also for the HH I got the house margarita on the rocks. It was FANTASTIC!! We ordered some rice and beans to share. There was a lot of that and each of us had 2 tacos. I had the McCausland and the Biloxi. One of my friends had the Biloxi and the monthly special taco. The other friend had the McCausland and the Baja (their most popular taco we were told). Amiya (by the way, this is spelled wrong) made us laugh and was truly a delight. A true asset to Taco Buddha. I have to say everyone was very hospitable. I'm betting that the longest we sat until someone came by to ask what we needed because the red card was up was about 5 minutes and that's because the place was packed. After the Margarita I got a paloma and it was the best I've ever had. Now, you may ask... What the heck, it seems like you loved it why only 4 stars and not 5. Well, the drinks were $9 each and I'm willing to bet that if you take out the ice there was MAYBE 1/2 cup of drink and the rest ice. Maybe I'm cheap I dunno. But, would I still go back and get a drink? Yup!

Really cute place. This is my first time coming here. I came with a friend who has been to other locations. This location doesn't have super convenient parking but it's a super cute location. We ordered on our phones some salsa and chips to start and tacos. I got two and they were very filling. It did take a while for our food to come out but everything tasted good. You check out on your phone as well. I would come again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Taco Buddha! It has been on our list to try since they opened up this location near us, and I am sorry we didn't try it sooner! The tacos were delicious and they had a creative variety of tacos. We sat on the covered patio as it was raining but they also have a front patio and some seating inside. We also used the QR code to order, but they give you a sign you can pop in the napkin holder if you would prefer to have someone come and take your order if the QR code is not your preference. The QR code ordering was easy and straightforward. They are also very flexible with substitutions and putting toppings on the side - the QR code provided many options very clearly! They are also very clear with allergy concerns upfront on their menu which is always a great thing to see for me. Can't wait to go back! Also looking forward to trying the breakfast tacos!

We love taco Buddha! Honestly one of the best margaritas I've had in my life - coming from someone who's not big on tequila. It took me a couple visits to find my favorite tacos, but the McCausland, Biloxi, and Thailand are my favorite by far. The queso is good, guac is top tier, but I'm not a big fan of the fire roasted salsa. I wish they would offer another option! A must try in STL

We visited the newest location of Taco Buddha tonight. We have been to their other two locations and were excited to try this one. Everyone was so welcoming when we came in - especially when we walked in with our dog. It was so nice to be met with such kindness from the staff AND other guests. Their food is always a 10/10 and so is the ambiance. We love that their patio is enclosed and heated. Makes for a great option when it's chilly out.

Taco Buddha catered our wedding 9 years ago before they had a restaurant, so it's always held a special place in my heart. I'm thrilled that there is now a location in the city! The restaurant is pretty small but food comes out quick so there shouldn't be much of a wait. We got quesadillas, tacos, rice and beans and top shelf margaritas. Everything was delicious!

I've always been in love with taco buddha and so glad they made a other location close to the grove area! It's the same great taste in tacos and margaritas but with another amazing and beautiful location. Service is always amazing and the inside is beautiful as well.

It's been a few weeks since I had any pocket cash to go out to eat... so I decided to pick a food…read moresource at random for a Saturday afternoon, and I'm SO GLAD I did... You know how they say one of the best things about Mexico is the food? I have to admit, I would honestly wouldn't know and just have to trust the stories I've heard, as I've never been lucky enough to go to Mexico.... But all my life I've heard stories about people who go and basically remind you.. NEVER hit a restaurant for _authentic_ Mexican food. You want to hit the street vendors. Well, St. Louis has a fantastic surprise.. Now you can do that right here in the city! Part of a three-restaurant set up, Amigo Sole is the "street vendor" restaurant that's not on the street. (And having met the owner of the full set-up, I'm REALLY hoping i get invited to the grand opening of Jekyll & Hyde) As it was middle of the day Saturday, I didn't ask for anything alcoholic (so i don't know if the reviewer that asked for alcoholic beverages and was told they didn't have any was just unlucky or if it was true.) But I'll take a Mexican Coke over American Coke any day of the week (NO, get your minds out of the gutter.. not that powdered one!). Anyway, I went simple for a quick stop, and went with the Chicken Bomb. at the recommendation of the cashier and he was quick to name this one off.. (and always remember cashiers, have a favorite READY, so thumbs up to the cashier on this one!) . And then to my amazement.. no more than 5 minutes later, HOT, tasty, cheesy, chicken quesadilla style BOMB-diggity! (Ironically this one is not listed on the website menu, only the instore menu? Come on Sole, online is everything today :) ) Absolutely delicious food.. and absolutely messy too, as it literally would fall apart in my hands.. (HEY, that's a good thing!) As for the decor.. 100% true, as Amigo Sole definitely has SOUL! (and lots of soles!). Again Amigo Sole isn't designed to be a 'great sit down' restaurant, it's designed to be street-vendor FUN!!!! and with what decoration they have, it pulls it off fantastically in my opinion. So just based on my meal, what the owner told me about the Amigo Sole, you're getting EXACTLY what you're promised a Mexican street vendor serving fantastic Mexican street vendor food, only with a roof over your head the entire time. During the meal, met again (Who i believe to be) the owner of the store and talked with him about Amigo Sole and how amazing it was to me... and he told me about the three-restaurant combination. (And I apologize sir, but I completely forgot your name when we talked!). even mentioning they share three kitchens when it gets busy (so I was kinda lucky as i think the rain scared everyone out for the day), but I'm still hoping for the Jeckyll & Hyde invitation! (I'll even pretend to find a date if I have to for the upscale part!)

When we walked in, the place was empty, besides the singular bartender standing behind the bar. She told us to sit anywhere we wanted, so we chose a table near the bar. Then, she politely asked us to move to the bar. She apologized and said she was new and that she didn't know what was going on. We started with an order of chips and salsa and shared a mango margarita on the rocks. Let's just say our marg was missing the rocks. The bartender forgot to add ice, so our margita was warm. She gave us a cup of ice to pour in. The marg itself wasn't very strong and tasted pretty syrup-y. Although the chips and salsa only cost us $2.50, I probably could've gone without. I don't think I would've liked them even if they were complimentary. The salsa was decent, but the chips were saltless and flavorless. We ordered two tacos and the arroz con pollo plate. My tacos came out at different times. Both were tiny and disappointing. I had the Hemp Avenue taco and the Sarah Street taco. The black bean juice was everywhere. The tortillas were dry and fell apart. They brought out a quesadilla instead of our arroz con pollo plate. We were confused, but the bartender insisted the order was correct. Then, a few minutes later, the correct plate was brought out. I guess I can't be mad that we scored a free quesadilla. However, it was quite soggy and the cheese was almost a rubbery texture. While we were there, a DJ started playing. The volume of the music went back and forth between increasingly loud and extremely quiet. None of the other staff members acknowledged us whatsoever. It felt like we weren't even there. I hate sounding so pessimistic, so I will say two positive things: their outdoor patio looks like a fun spot in the summer, and I bet this would be a great option if you've been out partying all night and need some food in your belly. Overall a bizarre experience from start to finish!
