The brunch here has gone downhill. They now force the "champagne package" to be only mimosas or Bellinis, refusing champagne on its own even for Dom Perignon or Moet Rose, which makes no sense. I've been here before when champagne-only was allowed (in fact one week prior even), and staff openly admitted the change was made that very morning. Yet the manager, Alfredo, came over insisting it's "always been like that," which was flatly untrue. The inconsistent messaging felt like a bait-and-switch, and left a bad taste. To be clear, the staff here is good and well-meaning, the issue is management policy and how it was handled. At this price point, other Miami brunches do far better: Zuma offers free-flowing champagne alongside sake and cocktails, Jaya at The Setai includes bottomless champagne with its caviar and seafood spread, and Edge at the Four Seasons provides champagne as part of its Sunday brunch. All allow guests to enjoy champagne properly, without forcing it into orange juice. By comparison, this place feels restrictive, misleading, and poor value. read more

We went last night in a group to celebrate our friend's birthday! This place is amazing!! We had such a great time!! All of the employees were extremely nice from the girls at the reception, waiters, manager, etc., but I definitely have to give a special mention to our server King. He went beyond making sure our experience was amazing! He was so thoughtful, aware, kind and professional. The food was delicious and the portions were really good (please stay this way)! We are big time foodies and we were all full and had leftovers which is rare! :) My favorites from what we ordered was the tuna tartar and the New York strip! So good and the steak was cooked perfectly! I also tried a small piece of the sea bass (I was too full for more) and it was delicious! They were all so good I forgot to take pictures of those items! Ha! We didn't feel the price was bad considering how much we usually spend at a nice restaurant plus drinks and sometimes leave hungry. I also really appreciate King and the other employees asking us what we thought about the dishes we ordered and seeming honestly interested in our feedback, since it's only been a week the restaurant has been fully open and they want to get everything perfected. The actual restaurant is gorgeous inside. Definitely has the Tulum vibe. I felt like I was eating in a restaurant on a beautiful beach somewhere. The staff was also dressed really nice matching the theme. They also took time to show us around to another room with a beautiful bar and took plenty of group pictures for us. They were all extremely welcoming. At 8:30 p.m. the music started and they were jamming!! They have a DJ and live instruments too. Last night was a guitarist playing along with the DJ and it was awesome! More of a party atmosphere at that point which was perfect for us! I really hope RosaNegra is around for the long haul. I haven't enjoyed a meal this much at a restaurant in a while. The whole group felt the same! From the atmosphere, food and top notch service it was just a really great night! Initially we were seated outdoors and we asked to be moved inside with this Miami heat is hard to be outside even at night. They gladly did straight away and it was the best choice. The music , the ambiance was so happy and fun. We were supposed to go for dinner and don't go home so late but is hard to go when you are having such a fun time. Now the food, I do not understand the bad reviews at all. This is Miami where at the best restaurants with the best food you get sample portions. Their food is so delicious, and the portions are huge. We order their green ceviche, absolutely amazing. The taste the presentation was on point. We also started with their octopus and guacamole with queso de panela both yummy as well. For our main we all share their lobster salad, highly recommend it. I personally do not care for lobster but the other people at the table did. It was worth ordering it, very fresh and light. We also had their branzino and mushroom risotto. This was the perfect combination. For dessert we tried their pear option, flaky, chewy, sweet and tart just give me 10 to take home. What a beautiful place! We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't so busy. We were seated in the patio area with wonderful weather! The drinks were beautifully presented and good. Love the skull head and detail on two of our cocktails. For the table we ordered the prawns and the main octopus dish. The prawns were so tasty with every bite. We were also brought three different salsas and variety of tortilla chips. The octopus was also delicious. My favorite of the night even though everything was good was the Branzino with vegetables. So delicious!!!!! Our waitress was great! We surprised my bestie with the chocolate sphere where the team comes out and puts on a show with the pouring hot chocolate until sphere opens with ice cream and fruits in the center. It was so good! Love the energy of the staff it made her birthday evening. There was some dancing and great energy overall. We had. Paying $32 for a single pour of Macallan whiskey is excessive by any standard, and there was nothing special about the presentation or service to justify it. Came here on a Friday and had a great time. The vibes were amazing and the perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Decor and DJ were great and music got louder as it got later. It was mainly house music and there are several times when the staff encourages you to get up and dance. There was also a fire dancer throughout the night. I didn't care for the random Frank Sinatra type songs that were thrown in just because it doesn't match the restaurant or the other songs playing and threw off the music sets. While I did enjoy the drinks and the cool presentation, I found them to be small and on the weaker side. I was impressed with the food as everything I tried was delicious. The lobster tacos, wagyu steak, and sea bass were so tasty and cooked perfectly. The sides were equally delicious, especially the veggies and mashed potatoes. They have a small speak easy in the front of the restaurant which is a perfect place to have a drink before dinner and they have another bar in the main part of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating as was the manager (bald guy) who made sure we had everything we needed. Disappointing Experience at Rosanega Miami - Not Worth It. Prepared to be ignored if you're not spending money on bottles... I've always been impressed with Rosanega properties, so when I made a last-minute reservation for my brother's birthday, I expected a great experience. Unfortunately, this visit was anything but. Upon arrival, the check-in process was a complete mess--an unorganized line that felt more like waiting for a banquet than checking in for a dinner reservation. Once we were finally seated, we were placed right next to a speaker that was so loud we could barely hear each other. I asked the manager to lower it, which he did, but not long after, the volume crept back up. Service was extremely slow and inattentive, which was especially frustrating given that this was a birthday celebration. We waited 25 minutes for drinks, and after an hour of waiting for our food, I had to physically track down our server to ask where it was. Instead of taking responsibility, she immediately tried to validate herself, saying she put the order in and had no control over the kitchen. That may be true, but the bigger issue was that in all that time, we received absolutely no updates on our food until I had to chase her down. That is completely unacceptable. And here's the best part--she claimed she had no control over the kitchen, yet the moment the manager got involved, our food magically appeared immediately. Makes no sense. When our food arrived: * The hamachi was warm, clearly having sat out for too long. * The burger was great. * The filet was just okay. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. This was my brother's birthday, and the service completely ruined the experience. When I mentioned the issue with the hamachi, the server's response was "So what do you want me to do?" Instead of taking an opportunity to make things right, she just put it back on me. And despite knowing it was a birthday celebration, there was no effort to make it special--no birthday dessert, nothing. A decent restaurant with good hospitality would have at least attempted to turn the experience around, but instead, we were left feeling ignored. To make matters worse, we only had one drink the entire time. Not once did the server check in to see if we wanted another, which is just bad service and bad business. You'd think she'd want to make more money by offering another round, but we got nothing--no engagement, no upselling, no effort to enhance our experience. To top it all off, we waited another 25 minutes just to receive our check, and for $245, the experience was absolutely not worth it. Rosanega Miami needs to work on organization, service efficiency, and customer experience. I won't be returning. read more

As someone who has been to the location in Cabo, Mexico, the ambience of the restaurant was great the performance were lively definitely still had that fun, interactive experience. It's kind of tone down a little bit not as wild as the one in Mexico lol. However, the food was not at the standard that I personally expected it to be. The lamb was served. as shredded meat w tortillas and a small sliced avocado . I felt like it was a bit lazy the presentation. A lot of my guests were not a fan of their food, we had to send one of the entrées back off first few bites. It just did not give that wow factor ,especially compared to the food that we had at the location in Mexico. The beef capriccio was good, the guac was served with a giant piece of cheese on top which definitely turned my guest off. I definitely did not expect the guac to come out like that ------- Little small details let's you know what you're about to get into when it comes to the cuisine of a restaurant the drinks are OK. In my personal opinion, I don't want to feel as if the money that I'm spending at this level of fine dining is going to waste and the issue really lies in catching that essence and cuisine quality that is presented in other locations. The food was good although the food is small portions then giving you a lot like they give you and Cancun, but the food is really good. regular flavor. Food was great. 1 Star - Unacceptable Service & Rude Management I made a reservation at Rosanegra in Brickell two weeks in advance for my boyfriend's birthday. Over the phone, I was told that while the online system only allowed bookings for 12, they could accommodate 15 and that a note would be made for the manager. Fast forward to the night of the dinner, and they flat-out accused me of lying because I didn't have the name of the person I spoke with--something I never thought I needed since they assured me it wouldn't be an issue. Instead of honoring the reservation, they left us waiting for over an hour and a half, completely disregarding the fact that this was a birthday celebration. When they finally seated us, they split our group into two separate tables (10 and 5), ruining the entire point of having a group dinner. To make matters worse, the management was incredibly rude the entire time, especially a man named Juan Pablo and an older woman at the front wearing a dress. Their attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and shockingly hostile--something I've never experienced anywhere else in Miami. It's such a shame because the place itself is fun, and the food was good, but the way they treat their guests is absolutely unacceptable. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place because no one should have to deal with such awful service and disrespectful management. The service in this restaurant is nothing like any of the Rosa Negra Group restaurants in Cancun. I had a reservation for my birthday dinner for ten people last Friday night at 10:00. We did not get seated until 11:45. When I first went to the hostess stand, she said that they were waiting for people to get up from their tables, and it should be 30 minutes or less. 45 minutes later, I inquired about our table AGAIN and two managers told me there was nothing they could do for us. After an hour and a half of waiting FOR A RESERVATION, the manager was able to clear the table and get us seated. I would have never had my birthday dinner here had I known it doesn't have the same level of service as the Rosa Negra's in Mexico. The hostesses were unhelpful, one of the manager's straight up told me "there's nothing we can do right now," and my birthday dinner started TWO HOURS LATE due to the restaurants negligence. Also, it wasn't just my table. There were at least 20-25 people waiting in front of the front door waiting for tables. People were saying they waited for over 2 hours for their reservation as well. The food was good, but it is safe to say I will not be returning anytime soon until they get these issues worked out. Not being able to accommodate reservations until 2 hours past their seating time is absolutely horrible and not typical for Miami. read more

We made a reservation for a bday dinner of 15 people over a month ago and even got a call to confirm the day of. They notified us if we didn't make our reservation our card would be charged $800. When we arrive we had to wait 30 minutes in a line to checkin at the hostess stand. Once we checked in we waited an hour and a half to be seated. We would ask for updates and they would just say they weren't sure how long they didn't have where to sit us. So you're meaning to tell us you called us to a confirm our party of 15 and didn't separate a table to accommodate our reservation? When my husband asked for the manager he looked him up and down and ignored him multiple times. He then pulled our friend to the side and stated we didn't have a table yet because my husband said we were going to leave. Why would we wait 2 hrs if we had the intention of leaving!!! Once we actually got to sit down and order our food. Multiple sides were missing the girls never got offered drinks even though we ordered 3 bottles and we had to ask for things repeatedly and sometimes it would come and sometimes it wouldn't. Overall the food and ambience was great but it's unfortunate their service was awful. It really ruined our experience. They need to replace the manager ASAP and work their seating system better. read more

There was no true service or knowledge of food. My husbands overpriced steak was overcooked and dry.
