Fun restaurant with incredible fire dancers. Very loud ... you can't hear the person sitting next to you even if they're yelling if you're seated in the room w the DJ. There was a lot of up selling going on. We ended up having wayyyyy too much food (and it's $$$$). Our server had very long hair and her hair dragged thru at least half our dishes (that we saw). No one wants to eat that. But the presentation was beautiful.

Fire dancer - She danced through the entire dining area twice during our time there.

We arrived here without a reservation for a late dinner on a Thursday, the place was only about 1/2 full and we were seated right away. We each started with a cocktail, both of which were very good, we had the tuna tartar for a starter, and for our meals we ordered the 14 oz prime NY strip and the seabass, both to share, roasted sweet potato and asparagus for our sides and a bottle of wine. Overall, the food here was very good. Service was plenty attentive, but it felt like we were driving the pace rather than our server, and our meals took a while to be delivered after we'd ordered. Considering what this place is, prices for cocktails and food aren't terribly out of line - but are certainly up there or in some cases higher than better quality steakhouses. It should be noted that the markups on wine here are very high, and they claim to have a sommelier on staff who can assist patrons in making their selections. In our case we were here to celebrate a special occasion so we weren't so concerned with price, but if we were just coming here for dinner, we'd have likely gone without the wine and ordered another round or two of cocktails instead - their wine prices are that overinflated. RosaNegra has a lively atmosphere for sure, with live music or a DJ spinning, lots of patrons ordering bottle service complete with the prerequisite parade of cheering staff with sparklers each time one is delivered, long trays of shots which are also delivered with great fanfare, and staff having diners stand up and dance at times while spinning their napkins in the air. As we were first looking at the menu, a fire dancer came through twirling flaming batons; she actually danced through the entire dining area a few times throughout the night. We've been past this place on weekends and it's normally packed with a line waiting to get in. It's most definitely one of the newer, trendy Brickell hot spots - maybe less flashy than Sexy Fish but also a lot less pretentious. Unlike the aforementioned fish place which we'll never go back to, we'd happily return here to RosaNegra.

My husband & I came to this restaurant because we absolutely love the one in Cancun and wanted to relive the vibe. The space is gorgeous and the energy is there--but it just didn't hit the same "turn up" level as Cancun. For food: - Ordered the branzino, but it was totally different than what we had in Cancun--felt like an entirely new dish. - The Caesar salad was solid (hard to mess up a classic). - The real star was the Lucifer tomahawk on fire--the presentation alone is worth the hype, and for $290, it definitely delivered. Entertainment was fun and mirrored Cancun's style, just with a slightly toned-down vibe. A sweet surprise at the end: they brought me a complimentary birthday dessert that made me feel celebrated. Overall: Miami gave us a taste of what we love about Rosa Negra, but Cancun still holds the crown. Still, the tomahawk was worth every bite.

The ambience here is absolutely a 10/10, beautifully decorated, with great music and a lively vibe. The happy hour is a fun touch- they give out shots served to all the tables. Everything feels pristine and thoughtfully designed. Given the atmosphere, I had high hopes for the food, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. I ordered about 5 different dishes and wouldn't return for any of them.

Went for happy hour and Miami spice ( bar side ) Server : Josue Day : Friday ! So I first want to start out by saying that we only sat at the bar and was serviced with Josue the entire time. The service by Josue was sooooooo amazing. He was knowledgeable by the menu but he was personable to everyone at the bar. Everyone at the bar raved about his service ! Happy hour cocktails were delicious there's two on the menu and loved both. Pictured in my review is the octopus tiradito it was pretty good but the Miami spice green ceviche was a hit ! I also ordered to lamb and it was delicious but forewarning it's on the salty side! Lastly was the dessert and you can't go wrong with cheesecake ! I'll definitely come back and sit at the bar because Josue really set the standard ! Come on the weekends Friday -Sunday !

There was literally nothing wrong! Everything went famously well at dinner. We had the loveliest and most amazing server, Gabriella! She was attentive, knowledgeable and her smile lit up the room! It's a lively dining experience, which makes it fun, yet the food is also top notch. Had the Orzo Short Rib along with the roasted sweet potato. Empanadas for appetizer and margaritas for cocktails and all of it was delicious.

I came here on a Saturday around 7pm for date night. I usually don't eat outside but we sat on the terrace. It was cute outside and it was cool to see the bartender doing the tricks. Our waitress was Lea and she was pretty good. She was smiley and attentive. The food was also good. We got the guac, elote, short rib tacos, and churros. I wouldn't order the guac again because it came with a tasteless cheese and no chips. I would reorder everything else though. I asked for something green on the side, like spinach, lettuce or anything for my tacos but the kitchen declined my request. They had an issue with the lighting in the bathroom which was a nightmare. They tried to light the bathroom with candles but it was really dark in there. Overall, I would return, especially for the churros.

Food: 3 out of 5 Service: 0 out of 5 Ambiance: 5 out of 5 Vibe: 2 out of 5 Value: 2 out of 5 This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I can remember, and it actually bordered on humiliating. We were excited to try RosaNegra as we are well aware of the restaurant group's offerings in CDMX & Cancun. Further, we generally are super impressed with a couple other Mexican restaurant groups that operate in CDMX, MTY, and CUN. We have always loved the experiences (La Buena Barra in MTY & CUN is a favorite), the food, service, vibe and entertainment. It's so much different than what we have in the states, and I absolutely love it. That being said, I also know that it's hard to replicate that experience in the states but was willing to give it a try. So, I will start off with the positive attributes. The restaurant is stunningly beautiful and fits the vibe of the Tulum/Cancun spots (and Nomade in ATX). Think of that neutral color palate, the big heavy double wooden doors you see in Mexico. Like the Quintana Roo Restoration Hardware catalog (if they had one). Also, even nicer than the restaurant is the tableware - probably the nicest I've ever seen - plates, cutlery, serving dishes. Just amazing....However, the napkins were a little dirty...ew. Now, for the experience: We had a reservation for an outdoor table but we were told upon checking in that someone had reserved the entire outdoor area ( I tried my best Seinfeld reference, but it was lost on them..."You know how to take the reservation, but you don't know how to hold the reservation...")...Look, I get it, big client with a yacht wants the outdoor space in South Beach, the guy with 200 points on his OpenTable account gets shafted. Not the end of the world. A little weird since the restaurant and outdoor area had pretty moderate occupancy at the time. The server was pretty nice at first (even if not the most attentive) but once it became clear we weren't really drinking much or going for an all out dinner, the service went from aloof to downright non-existent. We ordered dessert and waited an extra 20 min with no sign of it coming, so we flagged some folks down and asked to cancel as we had to go. So the manager (bald guy other folks wrote back) came over with a check, dropped it on the table and said in a rude manner, "you want to cancel your dessert". Actually thought they were going to comp it and apologize, but not so much. We told him we had to split the check and holy smokes he took a pen and said circle what you want, and walked away. The type of service we have always gotten in Mexico is so much different - it's so welcoming, gracious, polite and friendly..I'm not sure if it's hard to replicate in the states, or it's intentional to try to create an air of exclusivity. We really felt uncomfortable and not welcome there the whole time. Okay, so now for the food - mixed bag. Very nice presentation, but the menu is a little weird, and you'll notice it's a *very* different menu from Mexico. Most of the food was plated beautifully and looked it! The tuna tostada was very good (maybe a bit salty) as was the ceviche. We asked for tortillas for the ceviche which took a very long time to get, which kinda messed with the dish. That said, the tortillas and salsas were amazing! Tacos - so the tacos should have been listed more as appetizers as the plate was two almost street tacos (MX the order is 3) and they were like $28ish...I mean, $14/piece for tacos is insane. The short rib tacos were like barbacoa and were very good though - The beef tenderloin w/chicharron was pretty good, and the pulpo was ehhh, just drowned in sauce. The jalapeno mash was great; the asparagus was fine ($16 is silly). We opted not to go for steak since it looked pretty pedestrian - (at LBB MTY/CUN) they bring it out, light it on fire ha and cut it and it was amazing...Here, I figured I'd wait to go home and hit up H-E-B for some rib eyes and grill em! Lastly, as far as the entertainment - I dunno..it was just very loud music that didn't have like a theme to it..couple good tunes, but didn't really create a fun vibrant atmosphere. So, overall, there is a ton of potential, but you have to crack the code on bringing the Mexican experience to the states - and I get it, Miami seems like a good place to do it, but maybe give Austin, Dallas, or Houston a try. We have La Popular from CDMX which from what I understand isn't great there or here. So there's a huge market here for it! Again, beautiful restaurant, but really misses on everything else except for making your customers feel bad. For steak, the Argentinean steakhouse Baires is pretty solid, and Calle Ocho has some great Cuban spots....but I wouldn't return here (but still would go to the group's restaurants in Mexico).

Omg this place I absolutely loved. The food was incredible. We had some delicious cocktails with some ceviche and octopus. And i highly recommend. The ambiance was incredible it gave the Tulum vibe and the dancer with the fire was amazing. The waiter's service was excellent he gave us the best recommendations and always a smile and full of energy. Honestly worth the hype and I would definitely come here again.

RosaNegra offers a visually striking atmosphere and an ambitious concept, but the overall experience was mixed. While the presentation of the dishes was appealing, the execution did not consistently meet expectations. The seafood, although flavorful at first, was overly watery and carried a strong fishy smell that detracted from the enjoyment. The steak was acceptable in taste, but the texture was quite rubbery, which affected the quality of the dish. Additionally, the experience did not align with the restaurant's social media portrayal. RosaNegra promotes its brunch as an "amazing brunch party," but in reality, the atmosphere fell flat and lacked the energy, entertainment, and excitement that was advertised. The contrast between expectation and reality was disappointing. Overall, RosaNegra has potential, particularly in ambiance and concept, but improvements in food consistency and a more accurate representation of the brunch experience would greatly enhance the overall offering.

This place was a party on a Tuesday night! Our group got a tomahawk and they bring it out and put it on fire while everyone shouts and dances. I got the wagyu ribeye from Australia as it was delicious! All the apps we got were also amazing. The meatballs, elote style corn, and 4 different dips for chips. Our server was Miami's next top model and amazing at her job! 10/10 recommend !! The chocolate sphere was a show they melt with some hot caramel but the churros with fruit and cream was delicious !

Came to Rosa Negra to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the overall experience was good, though not exactly unforgettable. The ambiance was absolutely exquisite--immediately gave off Tulum, Mexico vibes with its lush decor and earthy yet upscale aesthetic. The attention to detail in the design really set the mood, and the atmosphere felt festive and vibrant. They definitely know how to make celebrations feel special. The sparklers were a fun and unexpected touch, perfect if you're there for a birthday or holiday gathering. As for the brunch itself, it was a mix of hits and misses. The layout included a cold station, a hot station (with one entrée), and a dessert station. If you're a fan of crab legs and chilled seafood items, the cold station is where Rosa Negra shines. The variety and freshness stood out. Unfortunately, the hot station was a bit underwhelming. With only one entrée option, it didn't quite meet the expectations for a brunch at this price point or vibe level plus $25 for what seemed like a couple table spoons truffle butter was obscured to me. As for our server, she was a delight. Courteous, polite, friendly, and attentive! All in all, it was a decent experience--great for the ambiance and special occasions--but food-wise, it left us wanting a bit more. Good, but not something to write home about.

First of all, the vibes were immaculate. We sat outside and it was so peaceful at first because I think we were literally the first people there for happy hour/lunch. It felt like we unlocked a secret level before the crowd came. Perfect weather, great energy, good music, cute scenery... very "main character with a discounted cocktail" energy. Now let's talk FOOD. Every single dish we ordered was SO flavorful. Like somebody in that kitchen actually believes in seasoning and I just want to personally thank them for their service. Even the fries??? And let's have a serious conversation because not all fries deserve rights. Especially those thick overly battered fries that feel like you're chewing on drywall. These fries were thin, crispy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned... exactly how fries should be. No unnecessary jacket on them. Just vibes. The tuna tartare was AMAZING. Fresh, flavorful, light, addictive. I could've ordered another one and acted like it was "for the table." The calamari was cooked perfectly too. Nice and airy, tender, not rubbery. You know how some calamari fights back when you chew it? Not this one. Peaceful calamari. The edamame with the chunky sea salt was weirdly one of my favorite things. So simple but SO good. And the Korean wings??? BABY. Those were "cancel your evening plans and order another round" wings. We don't say "to die for" anymore because positivity, growth, healing... but let's just say I would dramatically think about those wings again later. The drinks were great, the prices during happy hour honestly felt fair, and our waiter was SO sweet and attentive the entire time. Overall, I would absolutely come back. Honestly, if my responsibilities would allow it, I'd pull up to this happy hour every day like it's a part time job!

Two of us had the picanha, it was good but it was à la carte, so I ordered potatoes with like a chili oil topping as a side. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

The Mynt is spectacular and has become my go-to drink every time I visit. The chicken nuggets remain one of the most reliable items on the menu. Crispy, flavorful, and impossible to regret ordering. This was my first time trying the lobster and shrimp fritters, and they absolutely delivered. They were packed with flavor and disappeared from the plate quickly. The biggest surprise was the chicken sandwich - first time ordering it. Wow. It came out piping hot from the kitchen, so definitely give it a minute to cool down before diving in. I added some of the sauce that comes with the chicken nuggets for an extra kick, and it took the sandwich to another level. Pickled veggies and cabbage on the side are also fantastic. The vibe is always one of the highlights at Cote. Great music, energy, and an overall fun atmosphere at the bar without feeling overwhelming. Service was excellent as well. Special shoutout to our bartender, Vlad, who took great care of us throughout the evening. Good food, great drinks, good vibes, and excellent service. What more can you ask for? Looking forward to next time as always.

If you're looking for a high-end dining experience in the heart of Miami, Dirty French Steakhouse…read morein Brickell absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and delicately seasoned--light, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Between the quality of the food, the execution, and the level of service, it feels justified. Bottom line...If you're willing to splurge for a memorable steakhouse experience, Dirty French Steakhouse is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.

The famed Buenos Aires steakhouse with a location in Coconut Grove did not disappoint…read more I finally had an opportunity to check out La Cabrera after a cigar at nearby Coco Cigars. I took advantage of their 4 course $60 dinner special (not listed on their website but offered every day, including weekends) and went with the Caesar Salad, 14 oz skirt steak, fries and flan. Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. Far superior choice, food wise, to Chop.

A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.
