Best pizza in town! The new owners are keeping up the same old traditions. Yummy in my tummy!

Great pizza!! I'm from NY and it's extremely close to the real thing. It's my go to place for pizza. Ever since it changed hands with new management the pizza is miles better than it was. The only thing I would say is they need to stay open later. I saw that they did expensive their days to be open 7 days a week so that's exciting! Hopefully they will close later in the future because they certainly have enough business!! read more

Visiting with my daughter and future son in-law and they decided to treat us for lunch. There was so many options. Everything looks so delicious and I wanted to try everything. Once we picked out our choices we found a seat. The Custer service was good but the pizza was great. The slices were huge. My husband really enjoyed it and said we would revisit in the future. stopped here on a road trip and got two huge slices of pizza (one caprese and one white with spinach) as well as a pepperoni pinwheel for $11. Lovely pizza, fresh tasting ingredients, very filling, i could barely finish one slice but wanted to eat more. Excited for my leftovers. Super cute and affordable spot :) Service was lovely. Would totally stop here again as I drive up and down the east coast pretty frequently. read more

I popped in here hoping to pick up a specific Italian pastry. To avoid it showing in search results, I won't name it here as they no longer have these wonderful treats. But that's okay! They have other great stuff! The counter of pizza-by-the-slice ranges from plain cheese and plain pepperoni to Sicilian, pepperoni and mushroom, eggplant, meat lovers and more. I chose a simple slice of Caprese - sliced mozzarella (not shredded), red peppers, and fresh basil. When the guy brought it to my table a few minutes later, the smell was heavenly. And the taste was better. A *perfect* slice. Is it New York style? Not quite. But that doesn't make it bad! Soda fountain or some bottled beverages available. Plenty of parking. read more

The weather was cold and I wanted something comforting. Although pizza is their go-to menu item, I thought I'd try some other offerings today. Right off the bat, the first thing was the best and that was the garlic knots. I don't think anything could have made them better. They used real garlic and butter and they were the perfect texture and seasoning. I was super impressed. A close second were the pinwheels. We also tried the chicken parm and tortellini bolognese. I'll admit, my expectations weren't high but that meant I was more than surprised by the quality. I will happily rate this place five stars. Not because it's the fanciest of Italian spots but it's a pizzeria with a lot more to offer and on a random Thursday night putting up solid food in this economy says a lot. Also! Other than being one of the Best Pizza places in Charlotte and burbs , Rosarios, has a decent assortment of Main dishes/dinners. Either the Chicken or Veal Parm is worth getting. Honestly, haven't tried anything else cept their various variety of pizza and can't NOT MENTION the Garlic Knots. There's also something about having their salad that makes it taste garden and freshly picked. Their salad dressing has just the right tang. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and the white pizza for delivery. The food came relatively quickly. However, the delivery driver took the food to the wrong place, and they didn't have the pizza flat in the car while driving because the cheese had all shifted to one side of the pizza by the time I found it at my neighbor's house. Once I tried the food. It was good. The white pizza was on the verge of having too much cheese, but the flavor was good. The mozzarella sticks were good. Nothing too special. read more

We just moved here, and since I'm originally from Long Island, of course the first thing I want to know is... Where's the pizza?! We got a house in a nice neighborhood here in Concord, and our neighbors have a Facebook group just for our neighborhood. So I asked everyone in the group... Where's the best pizza? And almost all of them said Rosario's, hands down. So the six of us tried them out! The two moms loved the white pizza. The two kids tore into the plain pizza. One dad loved the pepperoni pizza, and I (the other dad), loved the sausage. We were VERY impressed! We got some again last night, and it was even better. My advice- always order your pizza "extra crispy" yum! Previously, we all lived in Myrtle Beach for the last dozen or so years, and tried every pizza place within driving distance, and beyond. So far, we all agree that Rosario's has them beat! If I had my way, we'd have pizza AT LEAST, once a week, but if Rosario's is this good every time, there will be no need to try anyone else! read more

Caprese pizza is my favorite. Family friendly atmosphere. Try the margherita pizza also it is a family favorite in my home.

I can't believe I'm updating a review for the third time... But I just simply can't stay away from this outstanding food. The best part? Not only has their quality improved (which wasn't even my pet peeve to begin with) but they're adding great stuff to the menu, instead of just the same old stuff! The Eggplant Parmesan Garlic Knots, as well as the similar Chicken Parmesan version, for sure one of the best things I've ever gotten from a pizza place before. Oh, and good on you for reiterating customer service. Gone are the days of blank faces at the service counter. The cute girl with glasses at the cash register? Yeah, keep her around, very quick and friendly; mirror opposite experience from the early days at Rosario's. I hated to give those 2 stars all that time ago.. But at least it tells a story of a restaurant that has adapted and thrived. I'm hoping the redemption is reciprocated with consistency! read more

Best pizza in Concord area. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose. Always cooked to perfection.

I'm writing this review during the COVID-19 pandemic. I ordered the Rosario's Veggie pizza to go. It was a bit pricey for a medium pizza ($18 and change after tax). There were definite efforts to help with social distancing in the restaurant. The cashier opened up the box to show me my food before I left, which was nice. The pizza was unlike any other veggie pizza I have had before. Instead of tomato sauce, the pizza was just layered with a ton of vegetables below the cheese. There was no sauce as far as I could tell. I didn't need it, either. There were five different veggies that I could detect: mushrooms, onions, green olives, tomatoes, and sun dried tomatoes. The pizza itself was above average flavor wise. The crust was a bit too chewy for my liking, but I enjoyed it overall. I'll definitely come back here and try something else! read more

It makes me sad to give such a low review because we have loved and supported Rosario's for many years. The original owners sold the business and it has gradually gone downhill since then. The customer service is nonexistent. I will review our two latest experiences with takeout pizza and salad orders. We always order the medium supreme and choose our 7 toppings which comes out to be around $23. We live approximately 4 miles away from the restaurant. A couple months ago when my husband placed an order he was told 25 minutes. He arrived on time to be told it wasn't ready. Customers came in, ordered takeout pizzas at the counter and received their pizzas before ours. Sometime later, when my husband asked again about our pizza, it was discovered that our pizza had been sitting there all along. It was cold when he brought it home. Our next experience was on Friday, April 7, 2023. My husband called in our order around 6:10 pm and was told 25 minutes. He arrived on time and was told the pizza was in the oven. He waited approximately 35 minutes. By the time he arrived home with our pizza, it was around 7:20. When we opened the pizza box, we found we had the wrong pizza. He called to inform them. He was told they would make us another one and it would be ready in 25 minutes. My husband slowly went over each to the 7 toppings that we wanted and the employee repeated each back. Again, my husband arrived exactly at 25 minutes to find the pizza was not ready. When the pizza was brought out, he opened the box to check it. It was wrong again. This time, instead of light cheese as requested, they had heavy cheese. My husband was upset and told the employee everything that had happened this night with our order. The employee offered to make another pizza but by now it was after 8:00. Two hours after we placed our order. He told them we were hungry, it was late and we would have to keep this pizza. It was too late to go to another restaurant .The employee nor the owner offered any type of compensation other than to make another pizza for our two trips there and not getting what we ordered. We paid $23 for a pizza we did not order. My husband did not get home with the pizza until around 8:20. It was not the best pizza we have had from Rosario's. Sadly, we will never return to what was once our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. We will no longer recommend Rosario's to anyone. read more

We received a $50 gift certificate from my parents for Rosario's on Christmas of 2022. We don't live close anymore but always loved their pizza. We finally made the trip July 2023 to use our gift certificate and were told the owner doesn't honor those gift certificates anymore. Imagine our surprise! The employee told us that the owner stopped taking them in February 2023. There is no expiration date on the certificate. I'm so disappointed and still in disbelief at the situation. Needless to say we will never step foot or spend our hard earned money in that establishment ever again. read more

Was taken over by new owners a while back. We tried it once and waited for a long time before I finally asked them to double-check whether our order was ready and it had been sitting there for quite some time without anyone noticing. Tried it again last night, hoping it was just because they were "new" when we went the first time and it was even worse . Was quoted 25 minute wait time on the phone. Got there in time to pick it up and then stood there for an additional 40 minutes with a large crowd of irritated people doing the same (one man straight-up gave up on waiting and left). Again- I finally asked them to double-check if our order was ready, and there is was again. Sitting in boxes. Pizza was okay, but not worth that kind of wait with your family in the car. read more

I guess it's not fair to have a Chicagoan judging the pizza in North Carolina, but here goes. I'm not a fan of pizza sitting around waiting to be purchased so we decided to order a whole pie as oppose to ordering a couple of slices from behind the glass. There is no table service so you place your order and have a seat, they'll bring it out and they'll also pick it up at the end of your meal so don't feel bad leaving your mess at the table. They were pretty friendly and the place seems clean. They have a sigh over the soda machine that strictly enforces NO SHARING! But refills are FREE! Ok now to the important stuff! The medium Pie was around 12$ and a perfect size for 2-3 people. The pizza was pretty basic and average at best. They're definitely not using top quality mozzarella and their crust was flavorless. The food is good but the service was rude. I've been eating there for years and when I went there last week the young lady ringing me up didn't say thank you or have a great day. (Found out later, new owners) She yelled at the guy who took my order that he didn't put my name in the computer. To say I was completely disappointed in our pizza and customer service, is an understatement. After spending nearly $50 on 2 large pizzas, one New York and one Sicilian Supreme and getting home to a very burnt crust on the Sicilian and having to argue with the young lady that took my complaint, I was not a happy customer. She did agree to credit me on my next purchase, however, she did so after saying that my crust was, "normal" for a Sicilian. Here are the pictures, decide for yourself. Unfortunately I have to give this pizza place 1-Star. The pizza was not cooked well, the sauce tasted like it was store bought. The cheese has a bad aftertaste as well. The crust was very dry and also seemed as if it was frozen before served. I regret to leave such a bad review because the customer service was friendly and we got our pizza hot and fresh in a reasonable amount of time, but that was the only reason that warranted 1-Star. I don't recommend this pizza. As a NY-style pizza, this pizza is no where near close to NY-Style. Use to go here for many years when the old owners ran it. Went tonight to pick up a pizza, I ordered it at the restaurant. And I wanted a beef pizza which they do not have on the menu. After asking, they said they would make me one. Since I was waiting, I asked to have a beer which they were all out of on tap. Again they were not even busy. Waited for over 25 minutes so other people come in order and get their pizza many times, and finally went up and it has been sitting back there for 10 minutes without letting me know it was there. No apologies after I complained. I took the pizza home and tried it and I hate to say, I will never go back again. The sauce had no taste and sporadic cheese on the pizza. Not sure what the hype is about for this place. It was busy when I went by on a Saturday night. We were on a mission to try all the local pizza spots and decided to order a takeout pizza. Flavor was "okay" but nothing out of the ordinary.. the biggest flaw was the floppy, soft, undercooked crust. We had to put it in our oven to brown and crisp it up more when we got home. My son and I went for pizza last day night. we stopped in here. we had prevously went to another restaraunt and had pizza slices. and we stopped here for breadsticks. It is a nice place. blue collar furninure and interior. lots of customers. big menu. your pay before you eat. the pizza slices are in glass containers. not that appetizing to look at bit at least you know what you are getting. there is deserts and beer and wine. lots of knickbacks in the interior. one thing I didn't like was the cashier got the cheesecake and pushed it off the serving utensil with their index finger a little. the cheese bread was greasy. but everyone knows cheese bread is greasy. it is located next to a good lion. would I go back? most likely. read more

I came here due to my bae living right around the corner. They are in the plaza with Food Lion. We came seeking single slices to try the most toppings we could. Service was okay, the cashier seemed like she didn't want to be there but I won't take it personal. The owner or possibly the manager, was hospitable though. We chose to take it to go and it didn't take long... no more than 10 minutes. I got the white pizza and the pepperoni. The bae got supreme and pepperoni/sausage. We tore the pizza up! It was pretty good. I don't know what NY pizza tastes like so I can't confirm the authenticity but I liked it. It was definitely filling. The cheese wasn't the freshest but it was better than store bought. Also, I didn't see any roaches inside the store. After looking at some other reviews I definitely looked. read more

Firgured we'd give them a shot. Meh. Pizza was decent. Spaghetti was bland. Bread that came with the spaghetti was amazingly good. WAAAAAAY overpriced though for what you get. $41 for an 18" pepperoni pizza, one spaghetti and one house salad with two waters. Then, after you've stood in line to order at the counter, they hand you the touchpad with the screen up to add a tip. There are other Italian places nearby that serve at least equivalent quality food and are almost $15 less for the exact same meal.... AND you don't feel coerced into a tip when you pay. Really feel like 2.5 stars is more accurate than 3. read more
