We got our food quick and she was super friendly! A few of the windows outside are still boarded up due to a recent break in in the shopping center but don't let that deter you! It's homey and cute on the inside. I had the Alexis scramble that came with sausage, jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. It was pretty good. My brother had a giant club sandwich that he enjoyed. Came in here for breakfast after a doctors appointment and overall it I could id give this place a 4.5 if I could. Our food was solid. Pancakes and the skillet were really good! The thing that dropped the stars was the service, I don't know if she wasn't having not a great day but it seemed like a hassle to ask her for things and she didn't do/missed things and we just never brought it up again. No one leaves hungry at Rosa's. The portions are huge and the food is good. Great reviews on Yelp let us here for breakfast. The cafe is located in an aging strip mall, but is nice inside and was decorated for Halloween. The Eagles (classic rock) were playing loudly. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere. The menu offers traditional breakfast and sandwich options. Prices are really reasonable, with most meals under $11. Water and beverages come out quickly. I had the Cali Club sandwich on wheat toast. The sandwich is layered (huge) with turkey, ham and bacon and garnished with tomato and lettuce. The fries are crazy delicious, crispy and seasoned perfectly. There was so much food that I took half home. My husband had the Country Boy Platter, which was a massive amount of food. Two fluffy pancakes were served with warm syrup. (I think he put an entire bottle of syrup on those cakes.) The three eggs were cooked perfectly. Bacon and Sausage were good and if that was enough, he had a huge helping of hash browns. Went in for another breakfast! They have been updating things! The menus are bright and more vibrant. I am so excited to see the advancement in this wonderful gem. Suhey is the waitress that is there because she loves working with people and her job. You always see her smiling and being fun with the customers, I think she is a reason many keep coming back! The food was again superb! I had the chorizo omelet with some pancakes and could not eat everything. The pancakes are amazing and the chorizo omelet was filled! I do order my omelet without cheese (yes I know I am horrible) and Suhey and my husband had some fun teasing me. It was a light moment that shined with her personality. He asked whether I wanted American or Mexican. I chose Mexican and was asked if I ever had a pambazo, which I had not, but I was willing to try. If you are wondering as I was, it is a sandwich on bread like a torta but it's dipped in guajillo salsa, filled with chorizo and potatoes and a bit of lettuce. Served with a side of hot salsa and sour cream. Fries came with it also. Nice crispy fresh and hot. And all this came in record time. The food was so good. The service was attentive and fast. My family talked about going back even before we finished our meal. We went for breakfast and had a variety of items. Our youngest wanted chicken tenders and fries and was accommodated. The location is the best which might turn some away, but I promise you won't regret coming in for a meal. Probably much better if you dine in. Grits are a pass though. If you are from the South, these are not the grits you know and love. Rosa's is a cute little cafe that definitely has a chance to compete with the rest! Ordered pancakes, bacon, and sausage and it was great. The pancakes were soft and fluffy and the bacon had the perfect amount of crisp to it. Our waitress named Sugey, pronounced "Sue" was friendly, attentive, and did well with creating conversations to fill the silence. This is a little family owned cafe.
