I have never had my food stay so hot in temperature like it did eating here. The food is very delicious. I will be back here again. And the owner is very nice

Small cafe, big flavor! Luna & Sol can be busy on a Saturday morning, but I was able to snag a few seats at the bar. The kitchen is open, creating an intimate feel in the space. Both breakfast and lunch options are delish - I tried the club sandwich and wasn't disappointed. Ingredients are fresh and the side of fries were perfectly crispy. The chilaquiles are an excellent breakfast option and their salsa verde has a great kick to it. Highly recommend sharing a pancake (or two) as well - specifically, the tres leches pancakes. Pay at the counter after your meal and, if you're like me, immediately start thinking about when you'll come back to try another dish (looking at you, skillets and breakfast burritos).

What a sweet little restaurant packaged in a little blue house. Great service, clean. Delicious food! Come hungry! Lots of menu items to choose from!

I decided to check out somewhere new today for lunch, so I decided to check out Luna &sols, it's in a cute blue house! Plenty of parking in the back, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, and check out all the action! I had delicious refreshing orange juice, and some of the freshest and let's be for real probably the most authentic huevos rancheros I've had the pleasure of tasting! The salsa verde was next level fresh with just the perfect amount of spice! Can't wait to go back to explore the menu a tad more! Check this place out! The staff is very friendly!

Cute spot that I honestly am not sure you will find unless you are looking for it. The staff is extremely nice and patient as I tend to be a person who reads through the entire menu. There is a lot of pork on the menu so it was very nice they were willing to substitute items out. I had the chorizo skillet but substituted grilled chicken inside and it was heaven! The portions are just right and it also came with your choice in toast, I chose sourdough. They had all types of different breakfast drinks you could order; I went with just a black coffee but they kept the refills coming and each cup stayed hot, it was really nice. We definitely caught a good time as it was fairly empty. The menu has lunch items on it as well, different types of sandwiches and soups. I'm not usually on the side of town but if I am ever again I will definitely stop.

The food is very delicious. Great pricing and service. The inside is very clean. Hopefully in the future they have outdoor patio and expand. Kinda small.

Very fresh tasting Mexican breakfast choices! The Juevos ranchero was 10/10 so light and crispy. Coffee is dark rich and smooth. My husband liked his chorizo burrito as well. They use good quality ingredients. Very friendly staff. The space is a bit small seating maybe 30 guests but we had no problem getting a seat on a Tuesday.

Great spot for breakfast on the south Side. The place is small, but it's very clean. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic, sausage was good eggs were fixed perfectly. Prices are cheap.

Food was absolutely delicious! Service was great. Very clean inside. Tiny place with only a small bar top and a few tables. 100% going back again soon.

Chilaquiles with side of beans. Great flavor!
    Angi H.

Such a great new local place. Only seats 14 people and it's perfect. I had the chilaquiles and the flavor was so good. The chips are made fresh and wonderful. Add the beans. They are yummy. Husband had the egg breakfast over easy with potatoes, bacon and toast. It was very good. Added a side of sausage gravy for the potatoes and it was a little runny but flavor was great. All drinks are cans or bottles even water as they don't have ice. Coffee is fresh made. Definitely glad we found this place and will be back to try more. People beside us said the cinnamon roll Pancake is a must and didn't even need syrup.

Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been in awhile.

Not overly sweet. Just perfect.

I will cut some slack on the service, however - I arrives after what seems to have been a very atypical rush of Journey fans who inundated the place before heading to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The staff seemed a bit rundown and slap happy - not really attentive to the bar where I sat. I waited a bit long before I was greeted with a menu, waited awhile with an empty glass, waited with my food pushed away before it was cleared. No one asked if everything was okay even though most of my food was untouched. The food... my salad (house greens) was a great little salad! I say this despite finding a hair on the plate when I was about 2/3 through. My mussels and fries were not great. The fries were mid - they tasted kind of overdone or as if the oil were old. The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery. They remained in front of me, uncleared, even after I closed my tab. They did not smell good. I don't anticipate being sick but I do anticipate being hungry.

I had the southwestern salad with buffalo chicken. It had corn and tortilla strips (which I left off), black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and bleu cheese dressing. It was super fresh and very flavorful. The chicken actually had a good buffalo flavor which many claim to have but don't. We also tried the Nutella crepes with bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and Nutella. In addition to being very large, it had a great taste and was very fresh. Another hit for sure. The avocado toast with salmon was really good. The flavors were spot on and as with the other food, very fresh and well prepared. The brisket burger patty melt was also done perfectly. The brisket patty was a perfect medium and the onions were grilled just right. We opted for mayonnaise instead of the Thousand Island dressing it comes with. The other dressing may have been good but the mayo really paired well. Finally, the club sandwich was again prepared perfectly. Fresh meat, perfectly toasted bread (some places under toast and many over toast) - it was quite tasty. I would have to say this restaurant is my favorite in Indy right now after one meal. Most of the things we shared were amazing and for a complete description please refer to my photo of the menu. We ordered the following: Burrata with Amelia's bread as an appetizer which was delicious. Gem Salad - This was amazing and I could eat it every day of the week. Stacci house made pasta - This was a big hit and I would order this every time. Hanger Steak - My husband, aka the picky eater, loved it. I didn't try it, but everyone seemed to like it. Chicken with a few dumplings - We all loved this. Three desserts to share: a cheesecake with fruit on top, one a bread pudding and a chocolate crisp. I ordered a delicious Monsoon Season cocktail with song cai vietnamese gin, cocchi americano, st. george thai basil eau de vie, elderflower, lemon and basil oil. My son and I also ordered glasses of Port after dinner. The service was great and I loved that they were playing really good rock music like Soundgarden and others. There are lots of antique typewriters above the bar and a cool print of Kurt Vonnegut by the bathrooms. I am looking forward to going again the next time my husband and I are in Indy visiting my son and daughter-in-law unless they move out of state.
