We finally remembered to try this place that a friend recommended. So here we are. I am not a connoisseur but I know what's not good to me. Its all about the sauce, the crust and ingredients. Can I say DELISH! Since we forgot that Chicago deep dish requires longer baking time, we decided to get the Classic Combo thin crust 16". If you're hungry, I'd recommend ordering before your arrival. Husband had to have the jalapeño poppers which I could do without but it temporarily curved the hunger for about 30 minutes. Can I say YUM! Very tasty pizza! The crust could have been crisper but we did have everything on it and understand it's hard for a crust to stay crisp. It won't keep us from going back. At the end of our meal, the owner thanked us for giving them a try which was a nice touch. WoW! Former Chicagoan here that knows deep dish! Sooo, sooo good! Took 40 minutes but that's to be expected and it was perfect because we had just finished the huge Caesar salads that were so good as well! (Next time I will ask them for dressing on the side, it was a bit much pre-applied to our salads but that's just a teeny complaint.) All Covid practices were good and their side patio was roomy. The marinara sauce on the pizza was so fresh and delicious...we had sausage, green onion, onion and mushroom...fantastic. Server told us the sausage is fresh from Chicago. This review is of the Chicago style pizza. Now I'll admit, we're pizza snobs. We love going to Giodarno's and Mangia Pizza. I saw we had a new place in Cedar park so I thought I'd give it a try. Here's my comparison to the Austin Gold Standard Mangia Pizza. Pro's: Online Ordering Closer drive then Gracy Farms Yummy sauce, cheese, toppings Con's: The crust is shaped like Chicago style but doesn't have that crispy buttery flaky quality that Chicago pizza'a have. It's chewy like regular pizza dough and is hard to slice with a knife. Online website only allowed a max of 4 toppings. Also slightly more expensive then Mangia but not too much. Delivery not available even though I only live 6 minutes / 3.3 miles away As this is a chain restaurant, they probably can't do much to improve the pizza dough. If they could they would deserve a 5th star from me in a heartbeat. I only stepped inside the building briefly but the decor and the staff seemed really warm and inviting. I'm sure I'll try them again but probaly not the Chicago pizza as I'm just so picky about the crust. Better to scratch that itch with a trip to Mangia. read more

100% Chicagoan and to have a Rosatis around the corner it's amazing! If you don't want to wait and want cheap pizza don't come and make a scene or leave bad reviews. Having the owner take our table and ask if we're good or if we need something else makes the place more humble and friendly. I used to order a lot here. I use Uber. Tonight - I ordered a pizza and some appetizers at 715 pm. It's 847 pm and my Uber app said I won't get it til 9! This is the second and last time this has happened. A 10 inch pizza and 3 appetizers takes hours? Nah. Too slow- you lose. read more

The 5 stars is for their sausage & cheese pizza, on which everything is perfect, whether you get the thick crust (available by the slice or whole pie) or thin crust (pie only). Also great with mushrooms. Tastes the same as it does in Chicago; and its the best sausage, cheese & mushroom pizza in Austin area! However, these other veggies need improvement: add green pepper or spinach: both bad, maybe even spoiled; add tomato: not enough. I hope these improve. read more

I drove here twice from East Austin. The Italian Beef is pretty good but everything else I've ordered (Sausage thin crust, Meatball parm, side salad with balmamic) has been, eh, all right. So I've been here a few times and it's always been great. However I ordered a pick up and my sandwich was all soggy. I couldn't even eat it and had to throw it out. The online ordering system could use some tweaks. The sandwich has a "dip" option of "dry, juicy, or Chicago style" I don't know what a dry dip is, or what Chicago style means. I absolutely love Rosati's and these 5 stars are for the food and the front of house staff. We have had all three kinds of pizza and crust here, as well as the salads, wings, dough nuggets, and dressings. Everything is delicious and the salad was freshly prepared. Everyone that works in the front is so kind and apologetic through wait times. The only draw back with this restaurant is the wait time for food. It does not seem that the kitchen has good time management. This was evidenced by several orders taking 50+ minutes more than estimated, and pizzas within the same order being ready 20 minutes apart. Management did their best to make sure customers were as satisfied as possible, but this could be fixed by more appropriate wait time estimates and ensuring that each order is completed in full around the same time. read more

Extremely disappointing. Service was meh. Food was sub-par, close to horrible. I had the Penne & Grilled Chicken Ala Vodka, normally one of my favorite dishes. Not here. What's sad is the chicken in the was tasty, what there was of it. The pieces was so small, they couldn't stand a chance trying to compensate for the real criminal here. The sauce. Easily in the top (or bottom perhaps) worst sauces I've ever tasted. It had a burnt garlic, vinegary aftertaste. Almost like a canned sauce someone attempted to fix up & give a unique flavor to it, only to take a marginal canned sauce & make it unfit for consumption. I LOVE garlic. Never in my life have the words "That has too much garlic in it" come from my mouth. I'm even a huge fan of roasted garlic. Love it in fact. The cook didn't seem to know the difference between roasting garlic & trying to carbon date it. Still trying to give them benefit of maybe just a one off, thinking I'll come back & try the pizza. Maybe that would be better. Well, not if it's anything like the piece of shoe leather that came with my pasta is any indication. Same burnt garlic taste, mixed with butter, only on a piece of leather I THINK was supposed to be bread. Now I didn't get to taste it, this is more of a logistics compliant. I also love a good Cesar salad. Which they have on the menu, as a full main dinner salad. Asked wait staff if they can do a small Cesar side salad with my meal? "No!". Seriously? You make a Cesar salad. It's also fairly standard fare at an Italian restaurant. You could easily have made one & made a sale in the process. The wine was the best part of the meal. Which should never be the case. Rosati's, you need to do better. The 2 stars was generous & based solely on the decor & layout of the place. read more

The food was flavorless. Absolutely saddened with the quality. My calzone came to me with ranch and a piece of lettuce attached to it as well as some other things that I could not identify for some reason. As if it were dropped somewhere. I really hope this place is not picking up items off the floor and putting it back on plates. The service was terrible as well. Rude employees. The place definitely would need to be cleaned you could see the grime on the floors. My dishes came out with pieces of food on them and the cups had food stuck to them as well. As a Chicago transplant to the Cedar Park area I can safely say without a doubt that this is the best pizza in all of the central Texas area. It reminds me of home, which many claim, but none can pull off except Rosati's. Simply amazing. They also have great beef sandwiches and cheese fries, which are also a rarity around here. Edit: We were so excited when Rosati's opened. We finally had Chicago style pizza nearby. But what a huge disappointment. I cut them a lot of slack given that they opened in the middle of a pandemic but it's been a year now, and things have not improved. Their ordering system is a hot mess. When they get busy, they don't let you order your food for pickup at a later time. So last weekend, we placed an order early to beat the dinner crowd and allow us to pickup at a specific time. The food was ready 30 minutes late. We haven't tried using a coupon in months but I know for at least the first 6 months you couldn't use one online and even in the store, the manager had to process it because their system wasn't working. Sometimes they shut off their online ordering system entirely. Other times they stop answering their phones. Just awful customer service. Initial review: We had our first Rosati's experience this weekend and it did not disappoint. So glad we finally have Chicago style deep dish in Cedar Park. I'm sure it's difficult to open a restaurant and I'm sure it's exponentially harder to do so during a pandemic. But we are very thankful Rosati's is finally open! read more

We just had this delivered with Uber eats and it was so yummy. We prefer the thin crust and the salad is also good.

There is no alcohol cost sheet so the waiter charges differently every time we go. We have asked for cost before hand but they don't have it available. The outside concrete floor looks really dirty just as the tables outside do. Invest in a power wash. We won't be going back. read more

Highly recommend coming here for amazing Italian food! The service was personal, owner attended us and made sure our order was to our satisfaction. This place is so good that it almost made me weep with joy. My selected items were the dough bites and the thin crust pizza. The smell from the order instantly brought back childhood memories of home. Dough bites were okay... Not a huge amount of flavor, but the marinara easily makes up for that. The thin crust pizza, however, was incredible. If they were to add a little salt to the bottom of the crust then it would be very close to thin crust pizza like Cassano's (from Dayton, Ohio). I did not try the Chicago deep dish, but marinara from the dough bites probably gives some idea. I arrived on a Saturday around 6pm, and the place was quite full. However, regardless of how busy it is, I strongly suggest ordering in. Getting your pizza straight from the oven will make a huge difference. read more
