I visited this place thinking it was Reggio's pizza which is an iconic black-owned pizza chain. Despite noticing my mistake I still decided to try it out. It's located inside of the bar. Reggie's pizza is tucked away in the corner. It's a really small space that I noticed everyone inside was ignoring. You can get a slice & a soda for $6.50 (prices oddly seem to vary depending ln the customer if you look through the reviews) although there's no apparent list of toppings or menu items anywhere from what I saw. I'm pretty much in agreement with the other reviewers in terms of the pizza looking better than it tastes. It's subpar at worst & ok at best. Despite it sitting on the rack then being put in the oven to be reheated...the dough was still uncooked in some areas. The cheese is perfectly browned & there's a decent amount of sausage. The sauce was lackluster. The main pro is that the slices are big although not Bacci's big. They're served like a New York slice of which the owner tries his best to convince Chicagoans to let him slice it into smaller pieces for them (must be due to past confusion or waste.) I did end up throwing the last 1/5th of pizza I had left away, but not because I was full...I just didn't feel like eating subpar pizza anymore. The whole time the bar wasn't that busy. There were a couple of guys playing eachother in darts which was somewhat entertaining since one of them was hilariously bad as well as cheating.

Short and simple review. Came in as I was in the area and wanted a slice of pizza. Got two slices and a can of soda for $7. Pizza isn't life changing, but for $7, who can complain!!? Great music is a nice bonus. Everything from "Don't Stop Believing" to "Premiscuous Girl" to "When the Levee Breaks".

Ok pizza. Not enough sauce and cheese was too chewy. If you like a log of crust this the place though.

The pizza is neither amazing nor terrible, but can't complain about a decent slice & soda for $4.50. A quick and reliable lunch go-to. It's tucked in the back of O'Niell's and there is plenty of space to eat inside. They sell a few other things besides pizza, but it doesn't look that great. One of the guys behind the counter once referred to me as "young lady" and asked if I wanted my slice cut in half (but asked no one else in line that!). I was almost a little offended, but now I always get my slices cut in half lol

This place is a gem! It's not known for deep dish pizza as people come here for but their slices of pizza does not disappoint. Pizza is hot out of the oven and pairs up nice with a pop. Definitely stopping here again!

Good pizza and hospitality.... Nice laid back a atmosphere... Recommend for a quick lunch or bite to eat... inexpensive compared to the other pizza joints downtown....Other perks include music and they sale alcohol... and have drink specials daily.

For $7.50, two large slices and a can of soda. Good for those that work in the area looking for a quick fill you up lunch. It is in O'Neils on Wells bar so also good if you want a cold beer with the pizza.

We ordered the pepperoni deep dish and the pepperoni tavern style. The deep dish arrives in a cast iron pan, featuring caramelized crust that edges on burnt for a perfect, crispy crunch. The base is thick and doughy, layered with some mozzarella, a tasty sauce, and slightly charred pepperoni. The tavern style provides a nice contrast. Served cut into squares, it has a solid thin crust that holds up nicely under some melted cheese and loads of flat pepperoni. This remains my absolute favorite deep dish in Chicago, and I go anytime I'm in town visiting. Pro tip: Make a reservation well in advance because walk-in wait times get incredibly long.

My sister made reservations ahead of time, so we got seated quickly on the 2nd floor. We did have to have the large booth cleaned as there was pop on the seats and lots of crumbs in the corners of the booth. Kinda not so cool when we got there at 11:30, shortly after they opened. We ordered a small salad, a large pan pizza (this is not deep dish people...it's more like a round Detroit style pizza) w/just cheese and a large tavern style w/half sausage and half pepperoni w/the pepperoni on top of the cheese. Service was good, if not slow. Of course, you have to wait for the pan pizza, but we knew that. The tavern style came out first, just as we ordered it and piping hot. While the pizza was good, the crust wasn't as crispy as we care for. It was super cheesy...so we got some good cheese pull there. The pan came out and looked good, but when it came to cheese pull, it left a lot to be desired. The caramelized crust is good, but the pan pizza was nothing that blew our socks off. Decent, yes, but not that noteworthy. Would i go back?? All i can say is i wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, but if i was near in a pinch, it would suffice.

However we arrived earlier than scheduled and we ended up getting settled at our hotel so we walked and went in early. We arrived at 4pm and they let us in - was perfect because it wasn't busy. It's my son's first visit to Chi-town so I think this is a good first meal. We got the Chicago meatballs so we can eat something as the deep dish pizza takes 30 mins. The meatballs are flavorful and filled us up until we get our pizza. We picked the Malnati's Chicago classic - medium. The butter crust is really good and the cheese to meet ratio is balanced. While it is deep dish - it didn't feel like it's super thick, I think the butter crust was the difference. It was quiet when we arrived and we were seated in the dining area by the back in the ground level. There was only 1 group and another couple when we arrived so it wasn't loud. I'm sure when it's peak hours it'll be more festive and busy. Great first meal - order some starters if you're hungry. Medium was quite big for 2 people but good if you want to have some slices to-go.

We came with a party of six and had a reservation for six, but our table felt more appropriate for four people. The restaurant itself is spacious, so it was disappointing that we felt so cramped. We started with the calamari, which I really enjoyed. The batter was light and crispy without feeling greasy. We also shared the seafood pizza, duck prosciutto pizza, cup and char pepperoni pizza, and the gnocchi. All three pizzas were delicious, with very thin and crispy crusts. The seafood pizza came with a soup or broth that you could pour over it, which was nice and it also came with so much seafood. The cheese was slightly firm, but the pizza was still flavorful and enjoyable. The duck prosciutto had a noticeable duck aroma, melty cheese, and a rich, savory flavor. The cup and char pepperoni pizza was satisfying as well, especially the pepperoni with its crisp, curled edges. The gnocchi was another standout. It was satisfyingly chewy with a great texture and bold flavor. We finished with the tiramisu, which was light, balanced, and not overly sweet. Overall, the food was delicious and the waterfront setting made for a lovely dinner. I just wish we had been seated at a more comfortable table for our party size.

The mozzarella sticks were very silky on the inside crunchy on the outside and came with a nice flavorful pomodoro dip. The meatballs had an Italian sausage/fennel flavor and were very tender, and the zucchini chips were the star of the apps!! Nice and crisp, they were cut into little super thin chips not like a traditional fried zucchini and the dipping sauce on that was also delicious and super fresh tasting Finally, we tried the spicy vodka tavern style pizza and added pepperoni to half.
