What a dump this place has turned out to be! We walked in around 8:45pm to find the dining area about 1/4 full and trash all over the floor! The "host" was just sitting there on his phone instead of cleaning the floors. Is there no more work ethic is these kids???? As soon as I saw how dirty the floor was I knew I wasn't about to order any food so we walked over the bar area to scope that out. Opted for the Rosatis Monster - I wanted it all! It was pretty good, but I felt like for the price of the pizza plus my additions I couldn't taste some of the toppings and I felt like when I addressed this I was told the toppings were put on first, but I'm a foodie ... I just didn't see or taste them. The cook brought some personally to my table and then I was able to taste them but I felt like they were forgotten. The giardineriera peppers are an addition my Chicago friends put me on a few years ago so I had to add them. My bill for this pizza, a salad, a kids pizza, a calzone, a couple drinks was around $80. My wife and I are originally from Chicago, home of Rosati's. We are also very familiar with Rosati's locations in Las Vegas and in Arizona. This particular location is so-so. The pizza is okay at best. When I arrived to pick up the pizza I ordered, it was sitting on a wire rack. So it was cooling rapidly. I asked why it was on a wire rack instead of under warming lights and the counter girl simply said, "this is where we put to go orders". So if you want to enjoy a hot pizza, you have to eat there! Very sad since the location nearer to Atlanta has the pizzas in a warmer for to go orders. So-so pizza, poor customer service. Probably won't be spending any more money at this location. I'll drive the extra 1/2 hour to go to the Atlanta location. UPDATE; This location keeps getting worse... My wife and I visited this location with our granddaughters for pizza. We were seated in the first booth just inside the doors. The heavy wooden blinds were closed. The whole blind was covered in thick dust. The server (Mia), asked what we'd like to drink. I ordered water with lemons for my wife and iced teas for myself and our granddaughters. She brought 4 large glasses not even considering that our 4 year old granddaughter would probably be needing a smaller cup. We asked for a smaller cup with straw. We ordered a salad to share and 2 large pizzas. We had 4 plates we used for our salad. They were cleared before our pizzas came. When Mia brought the pizzas we asked for plates, she asked how many, really? How about 4 more... Now when the pizzas came, they looked like they were cut by a puzzle maker on hallucinogenics. How in the world are we supposed to eat it or serve it to our young granddaughters? Now my wife had to take our youngest granddaughter to the bathroom. There are 2 men/women bathrooms and 1 single female bathroom. The female bathroom was occupied so she took our granddaughter to one of the dual use rooms. The floor was covered with what she could only imagine was urine. She took our granddaughter into the other dual use room which was slightly cleaner. What the hell has happened to this place? Horrible experience. Went to watch the USA soccer match and try the food. Took 20mins for them to find the remote and then they couldn't find the game (it was on basic TNT ). Having lived in Chicago and really learning how great the deep dish Chicago pizza is it has been a mission of ours to find the real flavor again despite people saying that there's is Chicago pizza. We found it today. This is a very busy restaurant with incredible televisions for every sport imaginable at your table and on the walls. The pizza is absolutely authentic served just the way they do at their locations in Chicago. They're happy to tell you how to warm it up when you take leftovers home which of course you have to do. Really good pizza here. You've got to watch your ordering discipline otherwise the bill might get a tad hefty. The Chicago deep dish pie we ordered was spot on and PLENTY! Also ordered two side salads that when combined easily fed 5-6 of us. Sweet Italian dressing was yum-ola. I'm deducting one star because when I walked in for my takeout, the hostess was on the phone and manger said hello, but failed to further engage and provide my food which was ready. C'mon man. I really enjoy Rosati's. The staff have always been friendly and on point the few times I've been in. The Chicago style pizza is a great change of pace from other pizzerias around my hood. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is clean. Most importantly, Rosati's supports live music. They invest in a nice PA and light show for the bands and I've seen some quality live entertainment at Rosati's in Cumming. My girlfriend and I just enjoyed Slippery When Wet (Bon Jovi Tribute band) last weekend and the weekend before that, they had four bands playing throughout the day. Fantastic! Rosati's is my boyfriend's favorite pizza spot in or around the greater Atlanta area. He's literally driven multiples times from Snellville to Cumming to eat here. After listening to him wax nostalgic every time pizza came up, I met him for lunch to see what the hype was about. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall across Peachtree Parkway from The Collection at Forsyth. There was quite a bit of traffic and limited parking on a random September weekday at lunchtime. To me, the ambiance of the restaurant reads more "sports bar" than pizza spot, with individual TVs in the booths and tons of sports memorabilia on the walls. The bathrooms have really impressive murals of Chicago sports teams and athletes. The menu also reflects that sports bar vibe in that you can order all your normal bar food - wings, hot dogs, etc. - but definitely has way more of an Italian twist. Your options include pizza (obviously), calzones, pasta dishes, Italian Beef sammies, etc. They also have a serious draft beer list with lots of local options. We kept it simple - side salads and an XL (18") cheese pizza. The salad was nice but standard. Our pizza was crispy and thin-crusted with a sweet tomato sauce. The cheese actually stayed on the slices as well when we lifted it from the pan (always a plus in this whack-job world of pizza that's too slippery to hold its own toppings). Definitely a 4 star meal. I'm taking a star off the review because our waitress really frustrated me. She came by no less than 15 times over a 50 minute meal. I know it sounds a little silly but we didn't have long to eat and we spent half of our meal dealing with her. I felt harassed and like she was unprepared. For example, she asked if we were ready, and then didn't have anything to write with so ran off to get a pen. She came back and took our order, put it in, and then came back three separate times to confirm... Get it together, please. It's just a cheese pizza! The final verdict: would I drive an hour again to eat here? No, but I would definitely come through if it was convenient... and would sit at the bar! read more

This place is NOT GOOD. This is also NOT CHICAGO STYLE ANYTHING. My mother had asked for The Italian beef sandwich asking if I had had peppers on it and our server Ciara had no idea. Says she had suggested us get their style of garlic knots with the marinara which were OK. The pizza has way too many canned tomatoes blackened around the edges with the little black bubbles throughout the pizza where it was burnt......With an extra burnt bottom. I discovered a deep dish Rosati's pizza takes 45 minutes!!!! I didn't want to wait 45 minutes! But I wanted a Chicago Deep Dish pizza. I waited 45 minutes. I received a huge box containing a steaming hot sausage & pepperoni Chicago style deep dish pizza. The box was so heavy it felt like a small elephant might be inside. Deep dish pizzas are dense and have a lot of weight! I opened the box. Although this pizza was a to-go order, I stayed a few minutes to eat a slice. It was steaming, did I say that? The cheese from the one slice stretched from the box to my face! I like that! I took a bite of the pizza. I liked the pizza. Wait, I loved the pizza! I bought this pizza to share with my family. I suddenly didn't want to share! My family loved the pizza too (because I shared, but I didn't want to). Tomorrow I'm going to contact the owner and ask him if we can move into a back room of the pizzeria to work for Rosati's pizza and live there forever! If not, it's ok. I will still be back again soon for more pizza. Did I mention I loved this deep dish pizza? I am happy! SIDE NOTE: I wrote this while was still in a stupor after discovering my beloved Chicago style pizza is now here in Georgia. I'm sure people who have had real Chicago food will know the differences. Its in the details of the food. Beer is cold and plentifully supplied. Quite congested at the bar with the huge bar of beer taps in front of a lot of the seats. Kinda made me feel like I was sitting on the wrong side of a picket fence. Regardless, the beers were plentiful and cold. If you can't find one you like, well, you probably don't like beer. Pizza not served by the slice on the weekends so I ended up getting an individual 10" thin-crust pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Pizza was excellent and I will definitely visit again! Staff and bartender "Lowe" were very friendly and attentive. Next time I would like to try their Chicago-style pizza and see how it compares to the real thing.
