I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rosati's Pizza on a delightful Saturday afternoon, invited on a double date to their charming location just an hour outside of the city. While they do have a Buckhead location, our guests insisted on this particular spot, and I'm glad they did. No reservations were required, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. Perusing the menu, we settled on sharing the large 18" Rosati's Monster, a tantalizing creation featuring Gourmet Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, Canadian bacon, meatball, and black & green olives, with a delightful tomato and bacon topping. For my date and me, we also indulged in the small 12" Windy City, featuring Gourmet Italian sausage, fresh garlic, onions, and Rosati's hot giardiniera. We couldn't resist adding pepperoni for an extra kick. The pizzas arrived piping hot and fresh, and we wasted no time diving in. The Rosati's Monster was a true delight, with a harmonious blend of flavors from the vegetables, perfectly complemented by the savory Canadian bacon. The unique tomato paste topping added a distinct touch that set it apart. As for the Windy City, it was a flavor explosion. The spicy kick from the onions and peppers was balanced beautifully by the Italian sausage and pepperoni. Initially skeptical about traveling an hour for pizza, I was pleasantly surprised by Rosati's. The food was exceptional, the hospitality was top-notch, and the atmosphere was just right. I am not a critic or review writer however I will be honest after I moved into this area when I found this pizzeria by the gas station, I was reluctant to go inside. I finally did this past weekend and I must say I had the best deep dish ever. The wait was a little longer but our server explained how Rosatis's deep dish is different than others and the time it takes to cook in the oven. The wait was definitely worth it!!! Toasted Ravioli and Moz sticks were way too delicious. We had to wait for about 15-20 minutes before we were seated. During the wait, their host asked us if we would like to have any drinks while we were waiting and I found it very courteous!
